How about an endorsement from President Trump!
Awesome! His collection looks fantastic! It would be really cool if he created a channel to share his garage and cars. I hope he can help save Chrysler.
Chrysler’s tomorrow's are numbered.
I wish Oldsmobile and Pontiac had such passionate great grand sons🙁. Good look. Chrysler sure needs it now. Their line up is a mini van only🤦🏼
Get it, buddy! Get Chrysler back in the U.S.A.!!! 👍
Great Idea bring back CHRYSLER , current management have killed this brand. I can not understand when I bring my car to the dealer they now sell Kia's? My Grandfather owned a 1970 Fury, when he gave me a ride I was impressed.
Ditto 👍
As a 4th generation employee at Chrysler's Worlds Largest factory in New Castle, IN, I support this wholeheartedly and would do just about anything to see this come to fruition!
I just realized I owned Plymouth Horizon. My first car. Loved it. However you can't compete based on nostalgia, you have to build solid products, which is not a theme in US auto industry in tha last 30 years. But I wish you luck.
We all are hopeful that you succeed.
One of my co workers was killed 2 weeks ago.....bc we have DEI managers who cut jobs...make the work environment so hectic amd chaotic and the UAW don't care....the company don't care....they still combing jobs and causing constant unsafe working conditions
Real Americans know that the EV collapse is imminent amd the first of the Big 3 to engage in the rebirth of the modern American muscle era will dominate the future sales market....Trump will remove all your stupid climate cultists mandates and you will see Americans beg for amweican muscle....stop waiting for that day....retool and prep now so you are a year ahead of GM or Ford etc....
Be American.....BUY AMERICAN....the company will fail bc that's not a glitch of the plan....it IS THE PLAN....GLOBALISM IS AIDS....ITS A THREAT TO NATIONAL SECURITY AND MY STUPID UAW LEADERS KEEP ENDORSING THIS BRAIN AIDS ....THE COMPANY IS EQUALLY INEPT....I KNOW WHAT WE NEED TO FIX IT....ABSOLUTE ECONOMIC SOVEREIGNTY....ITS NATIONAL SECURITY....ITS JOB SECURITY....ITS AMERICAN FUTURE....I AM UAW BUT IM.NOT AFRAID TO ADMIT WE ARE BEING NUKED BY DEI IDIOTS FROM END TO END top to bottom
I want Chrysler to survive. I grew up in a Mopar family. My first car. And my second and third. Would love to own a real Chrysler sedan or coupe. Well engineered, fast and comfortable with an iconic design. Maybe I even dream about a new Imperial? But Mr. Rhodes, what about financing? How can your family buy out Stallantis?
I wish Mr Rhodes and his family all the best in bringing Mopar back home. My Dad has only owned 3 non-Mopar vehicles over the last 60 years (the last he sold in 1980) and still drives one today, and my grandmother was a Dodge girl, period. Something Mr Rhodes didn't mention is that Chrysler also developed the M48 series, M60 series, and base model M1 Abrams main battle tanks.
Mr. Rhodes as a long-time Mopar guy myself. It pains me to see the downfall of the company in where it is today. The company needs to change now, we've lost the styling the brands once had from the honeycomb grill on the RAM trucks to Jeeps not looking at all like the former AMC CJs etc, to the brand Richard Petty raced in the NASCAR Cup Series.
My dad worked at Dodge back in the 1930s; literally a kid just about to get married. In 1957, my dad bought a Chrysler 300 convertible. He kept it for ten years. One summer, he drove us cross-country in that convertible. It had a big rear bench seat, and my dad used to love driving fast- especially on those freeway turnpikes when the speed limit was 75-85mph.
We have another Trump waking up??? Lets make America great again!!!❤❤❤
Nostalgia's great, but it can only pay the bills for so long. An independent Chrysler would be up against much larger companies with far deeper pockets, and a strategy to pivot away from electrification is short-sighted at best. It would struggle to fund R&D at a time when technology is growing at leaps and bounds. Its lack of EVs would not only prevent it from expanding into major new markets like the EU, but could even force it to exit markets that it already operates in such as Canada, as it would not comply with upcoming regulations mandating that all new cars be electric. While the idea sounds fanciful, the reality is that Chrysler would retrench and become even smaller than it already is, unable to compete, and saddled with old and non-competitive products.
Thank you so much for your aspirations and this video, Sir. I love the Dodge Brothers and their rich (but unfortunately short) history. I think Chrysler did Dodge very good initially, having created a rich history that had a worldwide effect. I've read many books about Dodge/Chrysler, incl. the Chrysler war books. They are a true treasure!!! Nowadays, unfortunately, the conglomerate is so big, they do not care about American history and -exceptionalism, they only believe in numbers and servicing their shareholders, not necessarily their customers. And if these numbers are not met, then they'll drop a brand like a hot potato. I agree, American car manufacturing should be back in American hands, the history and passion need to be kept alive, and American innovation need to keep moving full steam ahead. I would like to offer my support to Mr. Rhodes, and if he's looking into assembling a team I'd love to apply.
Mopar or no car bring back Chrysler as kid my parents had a 1966 Chrysler 300. I have had a 1969 Dodge Charger, 1977 Dodge Aspen SE, and now a2005 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup and I just put a new motor in it at 300,000 miles. So Mr Rhodes I hope you can bring back your Great Grandfather's legacy back to where it all started. Good luck sir
This is what happens when foreign entities are allowed to own American manufacturers.they don't care about history traditions or cultures, and they sure and he'll don't care about our people and the impacts their arrogance has on our economy. I see it happening at my plant as well, the killing off of iconic models, now their opening a plant in Mexico which will lead to layoffs at our Pennsylvania plant. Not good fir the people not good for the economy and not good for the country
Nice! Did you add this to your collection?
@@michaelblosser5277 it’s now part of Frank Rhodes collection
Godspeed Mr. Rhodes. This isn't just about Chrysler and automobiles. This is an era where Chrysler is owned by a company from a country that sided with the Nazis and a Western market threatened by Chinese communists. Your fight is the same one Chrysler fought in the 1940s.
No clue about who FBR is beyond being this family link. No idea on education, experience or work history... Nice video, wish him good luck, but not stocking faith in the effort
So very nice to hear, I’m truly hopeful Chrysler will rise from the ashes. I’ve owned 4 Chrysler’s (3 brand new) over the years and it truly killed me that my last new car was a foreign import because Chrysler currently only has a minivan on the market. Chryslers were always so luxurious and the ride unbeatable. I look forward to one day seeing the return of the iconic classic Chrysler nameplates like LeBaron, New Yorker and the ultra luxurious Imperial.
Chrysler entered the death spin with the K car. Let it go.
The K literally brought the company out of the ashes
@PerryWolf: You couldn't be more wrong. The K-car was the right car at the right time. It saved the company and the minivan made it profitable again.
It's an absolute SHAME that Mr. Rhodes failed to even mention the MASSIVE contribution that Chrysler Corp made to the Space Race. The Redstone rockets/missiles, the Saturn rockets, the testing regimens, the electronics. Also, no mention of the M1 Abrams battle tanks. He wasted way too much video footage on old cars that no young person will ever relate to, and completely ignored the massive contribution to the Space Race and recent military contributions. I wish him luck in his endeavor, but personally I can't forgive him for diss'ing Chrysler's more recent contributions since WW II. The WW II efforts and results by Chrysler Corporation are absolutely important, but that wasn't the end of their strong contributions to America's safety & security.
He is planning to do an entire video dedicated to all that separately. We could only get so much into this one short video.
@@rms4501 That's great to hear, I look forward to seeing it. As soon as I see it I'll delete my original post. Thank you for the reply.
My family has always bought Chrysler,Plymouth &Dodge. My father was mechanic for them for most of life. He worked for a dealership until he passed away it’s been 20 years since then. My mother also worked in a dealership for about 25 years. I my self do not work for a dealership but I have always had and still have MOPAR PRODUCTS and always will unless they take it all over seas then I will not have a choice. I want them to stay in the states and make them as good as they were before. Maybe the new CEO should take a pay cut and put money back into Chrysler, Plymouth & Dodge. Stop taking all the money out of them. This is not the 1st time a company has taken the money and ran off when you can not any more money he will run and blame everyone else but him self.
Stellantis is such an epic fail. Chrysler deserves so much better. Frank Rhodes is the man for the job.
Next up: Paris Hilton wants to take over the family hotel chain.
Good luck 🙏🏽
This “proposal” is an insulting rant that offers not a shred of credible information, business plan, financing, experienced management team, business partnerships with suppliers, dealers, or the UAW. Nothing here suggests this is even a remotely serious offer.
MOPAR OR NO CAR!!!!!!
You have the mopar family support sir mopar clubs across the globe thank you sir for putting up the fight with stallintis all the best from new Zealand 🇳🇿
Bravo Mr Rhodes, I am a proud owner of 300C and cant explain in my words how unique and different my 300c is compared to any other cars. God Bless America.
Go USA, Chrysler and Dodge Brothers
I love Chrysler cars, especially those from the 70s decade. They should bring back iconic models from Chrysler and Dodge, such as the Royal Monaco, Dodge Dart, Monaco, Chrysler Aspen, and more. I like the idea of Chrysler making a comeback.
Sir , what ever you need to do to do this , do it ! Chrysler is forever woven into the history of this nation as are GM and Ford .
Thank you for putting the effort to bring Chrysler back to America! Thankful to for all the Chrysler family has done for this country and the automotive world. We hear and will stand by you! Our automotive events at Cars and Coffee Miami would be completely different if it wasn’t for Chrysler the automotive community needs Chrysler back in the race with Ford and GM.
I hope you do it ,to bring back your grandfathers company & you will get a lots, lots of support to bring it back .the best to you and your future plan
Challenge will be a trip to Germany and Japan to adapt their quality methods!
To save the company back to the level of producing quality high engineered vehicles you will have to scrap most of what exists today including the UAW. You can’t produce such vehicles and have to bow down to union demands which could care less about quality. Produce fewer vehicles with higher quality with an affordable price and you can grow the company. No way to compete with Toyota and Honda without being much smaller in the beginning. Will require starting completely over again as a business.
Ambitious plan but maybe a bit late...
$500 billion went to ukraine from western countries but wealthy europeans buy usa car companies and ruin them.
Excellent video! It's really unbelievable that such an iconic and important brand can stay like this! How can people who don't like cars run a car company?! I hope this Frank's plan comes true! Without fans, no brand can survive!
I hope it succeeds. It is an iconic American brand that is very much loved in many countries. And it makes us sad that it is no longer what it once was.
How can I invest? I’m one person but what can I do to help make this happen? I would love to see Chrysler become the luxury brand that it once was, Dodge become the muscle, sporty brand that it’s always been. Moreover I would love to see the Plymouth brand come back as the value brand; building affordable cars that might be lower in content without sacrificing quality. Dodge could use the old D-Series names for their trucks as well as the Dakota badge.
I pray for your success. I don’t want what happened to American Motor Corporation to happen to Chrysler. My grand uncle used to be an engineer at Chrysler working on carburetors. Unfortunately he passed away a few years ago, but I’m sure he’d be ecstatic to hear that someone is trying to take back America’s auto manufacturer.
I agree 100% with you Frank. Buy it back and build it back to what it once was, but even BETTER. My first car was a 70 Plymouth Duster and I have been Mopar or No car ever since. Make a sound plan to attract investors, no matter how big or small their investments may be. I will gladly participate! Please keep the updates coming. I am subscribed here, but don't do Facebook. God Speed!
