I love the symbolism of them following him along the tight rope at the end. It helps get across the point of "yes, he's the leader, but we keep him steady and grounded".

("Mad is the Captain of Alpha Centauri; We must be out of our minds...") - what sold the AMV was the line in the song "poets and dreamers and clowns" which was matched to Lt. Cdr. Yamamoto, Yuriko Star, and the pilots and marines respectively.
Actually, the English version of "Just Think of Tomorrow" is amazingly faithful to the original considering if you compare the opening of Ninja Senshi Tobikage "Love Survivor", to its dubbed version on a little show called Ninja Robots! It MUST be the undisputed kimg of badly adapted anime theme songs! ^;
This was probably the most unlikely anime I ever loved. It's so random but it's one of my top favourties. I watched it when I was 15 several times, and I'm going to watch it again!

I saw this long ago in an anime con. The English dub opening sucks but that's probably because I saw all the eps in Japanese.
