FCHS Family Foodie Presents: Apple Spinach Salad
Apple Spinach Salad
Ingredients:
Salad
1 bag baby spinach, 10 oz.
1 large apple, diced
1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
2 medium carrots, shredded
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup dried cranberries
Dressing
1/3 cup olive oil
1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp honey
1/2 tsp garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
1. Wash hands with soap and water.
2. Add all salad ingredients to a large bowl.
3. Add all dressing ingredients to a small jar with a lid. Shake well to combine. If needed, dressing can be mixed in a small bowl with a whisk.
4. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss well to combine.
5. Enjoy immediately, and store leftovers in the fridge within 2 hours.
