I love that Jester very blatantly has the same blue & red eyes as Arkham and Lady; as well as the hat having the same colour scheme. Giving the twist away immeditely if you pay attention And its not like they try to hide either. They BLATANTLY show you closeups of Jester's face, but because of how "animated" he is and all that's going on; its easy to just miss it.

Yeah heh DTE is so cool but again risk reward system, I mean you can have it normally done but I feel it's only to be used in situations that need it especially with the time to wait for certain amount of the DT Guage. Also for the third Vergil Boss fight when you get to it, it's actually hard but honestly without Beowulf, it's in a way easier, not alot but a noticeable amount.

1. Vergil stealing Beowulf and then using it against you in Round 2 makes earning the weapon even more satisfying with how tough of a fight it is. 2. The twist that Arkham has , essentially, been playing everybody from step 1 was honestly *great* Especially since the game focuses so hard on the conflict between Dante & Vergil that you *almost* forget about him lol

The Nevan fight is truly one of the most unfair fight in the dmc franchise, but at least the electric guitar scene is worth it all, that and the "Dante Jackson" scene in dmc 5 are consider the best "weapon acquired" cutscene in the franchise❤⚡🎸

1. Dante leaving Lady to fight off the demons on her own really does show the difference between this Dante and his older self. Even if he knew she could handle them, I doubt Dante would just run off when he could end the fight in 1 minute flat. 2. If it makes you feel better, Nevan and Beowulf are definetly *significant* skill checks, so you struggling against them is understandable Fun fact: I'm pretty sure that Cerberus, Nevan and Magni & Rudra are the ONLY Devil Arms in the entire series that *willingly* agree to help Dante after their defeat. And it makes sense tbh, as Dante is basically the only one going theough these trials as they appear and genuinely proving himself worthy of Sparda's power & legacy.

i miss how these actual hard riddles in games back then :3 and apparently the innitial realease of this game had harder deficulty default normal until the international realease had complaint about it.

A little neat thing is Robo Fizz in Season 1 Episode 2 of Helluva Boss makes a reference to Dante catching bullet in teeth then spit it out. Edit: Oh and that different looking orb at end of DT Guage is for DT Explosion, you hold the DT Trigger button and when it glows, release the button and a explosion that does damage will happen but 1 is the weakest, it's a really amazing risk-reward system.

This is ironically the easiest vergil fight in the series. DMC 1 fights being second easiest. The other two fight are genuinely the hardest in the series.

Fun fact: Dante's Devil Trigger form actually changes based on what weapon you're using, similar to DMC 1. Its a cool detail that I wish had made it into the later games.

1. 1:17:03 a meme was born 2. Vergil's little speech at that timestamp hits a lot harder when you consider that Vergil was the older twin. Entrusted by their father with The Yamato and to protect their family when he was gone, dying due to giving up so much of his power to seal the Demon World away. The fact that Vergil let himself be ambushed by demons and was too weak to fend them off in time, effectively leaving Dante and their mother to fend for themselves, (resulting in the latter's death) weighs heavily on his conscience. Really, both he and Dante are coping in their own way. Dante denied his demon heritage up until he finally went Devil Trigger out of a NEED to stop Vergil. And Vergil's entire arc is him trying to *cut out* his humanity. The part of him that *feels* so he can never be hurt or experience loss again. Despite the slightly cheesy dialogue and over-the-top action, the character work in these games is amazing and the supplemental material only makes it better.

The easy mode is now selectable gag option is such a great trip it gets some people on the most insulting downers. Vtuber gawr gura got it from being killed by a door hand in mission 2 Pat ( a literal vet along with woolie in DMC) got it in the lp at the latter half of the first Vergil fight which you are coming up on very quickly and its your first big test of the teacher asking if you know how to play DMC3 properly.

I'll keep this brief but still have you know for excitement & in case you feel like just normal Dante is too much for you & a reason to keep going, Devil Trigger is obtained far but not too far in the game. Edit:Oh and there is another Devil May Cry 3 just called Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening and THAT is hard, you dont even get to use Gold Orbs, the amount of hellish effort to get to near end of the game made my disc scratch up badly. Edit 2:I mean if Normal Dante is not much for you.

So things to point out. 1. I highly suggest spending your red orbs on blue orbs & new moves. Using health items actually lowers your end mission grade. 2. Do not use gold orbs. There are a limit amount in the game. Only use gold orbs if you died but the boss health is low. 3. I suggest leveling up trickster all the way to lvl 3 than switch to Swordmaster to gain more moves for your weapons. you can always change back to trickster anytime in statues or starting mission. 4. You probably don't have a lot of time but you can replay missions in case you want to grind on red orbs. 5. There are plenty (i think like 20) of secret missions throughout the game that rewards you a blue orb fragment for completing certain challenges like collect 50 reed orbs under a time limit or defeat every enemy without getting hit. Some can be difficult so it's okay to skip. 6. The judicator statue where you need a high stylish combo rank are also throughout the game. I suggest switching to swordmaster as to get a. high combo is to not get hit and don't spam the same moves over & over. Guns do not rise your combo rank but maintain it. So use swordmaster and add some air attack to increase your combo rank. I also suggest looking at the moveset in the pause menu/ Status/ Moves. 7. DMC3 & onwards are made to be replayed multiple times so don't expect to get every upgrade by the end of the your first playthrough. 8. to use Stinger: lock-on, move forward, attack, and you'll charge attack. to use million stab: lock-on, move forward, spam attack, and you' perform a weak but multiple hitting attack. 9. You'll get devil trigger after mission 7. 10. Some bosses have hidden weaknesses where certain weapons are best use for like cerberus best use against the gigapede and Agni & Rudra. Hope this helps you out for the next part.

YEEES! A storm is approaching... Once you're done with the dante playthrough you should give the bonus character a go. He has the coolest and most satisfying moveset in the series and if you unlock his infinite DT costume said DT will take the form of a previous boss from the series including matching moveset. It's epic. So much replayability in this game between difficulties, characters and special costumes.

Am so excited! Also, Duck, pls try to do combos it's half the fun from the game. You can do so much with all the fun and unic combos in this one.
