The quetzal strat is a game changer. I've trained off of max stat deathbats with only common talents -- but I can see how its so much better to start with a pool that actually has good universal talents in it.

I stopped playing for years am a level 127 death student, i absolutely love this game i cannot explain to you why, somehow i got back into it i havent purchased a su, i found out its coming to console, i am extremely curious as to how that plays out, will it be same graphics, same predatory monetary system, this game was aimed at kids to start with but their monetary system says otherwise, your absolutley right, this game was manufactured for whales, not the entertainment for kids and adults alike. If they dont fix the glaring issues with this game why are they bothering to make it for the console. Will they be even more greedy. Theres just nothing to go on except that small trailer. It makes me uneasy. None the less loved your video you had some great points❤❤

hi, so i understand this all the way up until having the two parent quetzal pets. ultimately i want a ghulture, but if i have two quetzals they will only breed more quetzals right? so should i hatch with a ghulture instead ? confused on this part

1. It's an MMO it's supposed to be grindy. 2. If you can earn it in the game it's NOT pay to win lol it's pay to save time. 3. Your problem is you're comparing yourself to others. You can have everything a whale can have while only spending your monthly fee. The fact you can earn 100 crowns a day alone is extremely generous. 4. If a grind is not what your looking for then play a different game?? Lol this is an MMO let's not forget that. 5. Go play a blizzard game if you think KI is greedy 😂

Hey, I’m coming here late but I have some thoughts. 1. I love the game, I have nostalgia for it and I’m willing to pay a little for a subscription and some crowns every once in a while to improve my experience and see that the game gets updates. (Excited for magic weaving, arcmastery, and dual schooling) 2.I wish there was classic mode for grandmaster pvp. 3. The farming grind can be unreal at times. I don’t love the option to skip farming for crowns. (Spellements, world gear) it would be great if there was a gold option! 4. The loot box system is predatory. Gambling is bad, folks. Especially in a children’s game. 5. I just returned to wiz (again) after beating Elden Ring solo.. I like the difficulty spike. I like setting my deck with a partner to defeat an extraordinary difficult boss. I have critiques like for stun immunity and removing features from advanced combat. I agree that the two-card duel is less fun but ultimately necessary due to the scope of the game. I think that the devs have pushed advanced combat at endgame because they know how we got here and they want us to try new things. (Good). I main myth and I miss the old orthurus, not because it was better, but because it was a better Minotaur. We lost unique animations and school identity by being forced into the AOE loop, and now again with the advanced combat restrictions. 6. Pets really mess with the game balance. Having a good pet, especially at low level is such an advantage. I see they have taken steps to keep PVP fair by preventing use of high level item cards but does it matter in PVE when you have 100% crit chance at level 20? 7. Getting mega snacks for your pet is mandatory and the only way to realistically do that is with crowns. A 2% drop rate on couch potatoes won’t let you get a pet to adult every day. Especially if you have a job. In summary, I love the art, the chill vibes, the story, the community, and unique gameplay mechanics. I understand the game has to make money to live, but I also feel like the devs have decided mistakes were made building the game and so they are trying to graft a new game on top of the old game, using P2W and gambling to fund it. Dual schooling gives me hope, but banning all mechanics in advanced combat except for roshambo utility spells that don’t have animations or you have to farm spellements for, or else pay crowns, tempers that a bit for me. Artur Storydreamer Edit: I forgot to mention it but I like the new gear pins system. I don’t think everyone should have the same min/max gear from a raid boss or loot box for their school. Alternative builds should be viable in PVP and PVE!

I restarted wizard101 recently my first character was balance and it sucked. I’m ice right now even though-it a weak school. I think from learning from your guide and others I been getting good damage and skills with my ice wizard. It way better than balance lol. Thanks for the guide going to help me a lot ❤

Thank you for this video! I've been trying to really get some decent pets on my wizards this year but am really struggling. I don't have any pals on the game with pets whose stats I want so lending isn't in the cards for me, so I resort to using the kiosk. I tend to have crown pets so I can't just hatch with the same pet body on the kiosk for the talents I'm looking for - does the quetzal method still work to train crown pets? And when I hatch in the kiosk with one of the quetzals and get the quetzal back, should I scrap the egg and hatch again to get my pet body back (in my case, a rambler's runner) - or will the technique still technically work ? I'm prolly not doing a great job explaining, I've just been dealt a terrible hand with the rng wow factor for getting my pet back in the kiosk even with the quetzals. What should I do if I want a pet with specific talents that I can't find on the kiosk? (Currently trying to go for a quad damage (fire dealer, fire-giver, pain-giver, fire-boon/pain-boon + spell proof, and I have a mighty jewel to socket for when it eventually manifests those talents) for a crowns fire pet- haven't seen a quetzal with those stats yet,,) - thank you for any help/replies! I'm a pretty casual player but I like having a good setup.
