Beef Bone Broth
มุมมอง 2.7Kปีที่แล้ว
Homemade beef bone broth is not only delicious, but it's soooo good for you! Full of minerals, collagen, and gelatin from beef bones, this broth will have you feeling better in no time! A typical bone broth is cooked for 12 hours to leach all the good stuff from the bones. My method only takes 4 hours, and you get a beautiful stock that you'll be very happy with in a fraction of the time! come ...

How to can chicken in a pressure canner
My Grandmother used to make these every year during the Christmas season. You made me reminisce. I am definitely making some this year and bringing that tradition back.
@@kizzie621 How wonderful to hear!! You've made my day! ❤️
Hi Can butter be used instead of oil?
@gracehill7204 Sure thing!
Thank you guys so much tor these shorts im a canner started like right before the pandemic 😂😂😂 like 4 months before didnt even know we where headed that way 😢😢 but i just canned meat this year not to bad in a pinch especially living in Florida. Im about to can up some store bought meatballs thank you so much for this video short i truly appreciate these shorts that are starting to come up. Please dont stop the shorts for up these are such a blessing and you stay safe Ladybug ❤❤❤❤ thank you again
@@jeanettejarvis9669 I'm so glad you enjoy them!!!!! ❤️
Butter! 😋
National Dessert Day and I immediately thought of you!!😊
@@artsgirl I'm very complimented!! 😘😘
How long should you fry it?
@@Kaiii-222 Oh, 2 or 3 minutes per side. You just want to get a good sear on both sides for some crunch.
@@Jamieteachmetocook ok thanks!
how spicy hot is it?
@50hellkat2 Oh, it's tolerable. I can't handle major heat, so I don't go overboard with the hot sauce or cayenne. It's more flavorful than overly spicey.
Tf😂
Oh how I wish you were my neighbor - - I know you could get me started on the joys of canning - - so glad I found your channel -- I have all the stuff - just apprehensive to take that first step. Thanks.
@@janiefox3458 You can do it, Janie!! Thanks for watching! ❤️
I cook my hamburger about half done and drain the excess grease off
@@pauletterichards4755 Great method!!
I really me a be DEBBIE DOWNER, but is it really safe to use those storage tubs??? I hope so, but please convince me. I SO love your videos!!!
@schullieringer Well, safety is subjective as is most things. I'm not cooking in the tubs, just using them as a mixing vessel. I figure if I die from it, it will take a 1000 years. If you don't feel safe, use something else. Easy peasy!
@@Jamieteachmetocook Yeah, I generally tend to be probably TOO careful where plastics are concerned. Love your videos!
Do we ever meet Brad in your videos, Jamie?
@@schullieringer LOL Yes, occasionally he will make an appearance!!
No matter what other ingredients you use, it's the Worscestischire, butter, a LITTLE bit of seasoning salt, and garlic that totally make it! Add ANY amount of crunchies you like! LOVE your videos, Jamie.
Love this. And I don't even LIKE potatoes in soup. Well...... unless it's... potato soup.
How am I just now finding your channel?? Informative AND entertaining! Subscribed.
@@schullieringer Thank you!
looks and sounds refreshing, will try
@@susanruzicka2555 How wonderful, Susan! I hope you love it!!
i eat mine the exact same way but without tomato
I just found your video and you are too funny! And I mean that in a good way! You talk away! You make me laugh! I am one of those people that garden and really enjoy putting up food we grow. Right now I’m looking to make and can up veg soup for fall and the winter and checking out how you all do it!
@@darlafischer9869 You are very sweet!! Thanks so much for watching!! ❤️❤️❤️
You talk too much just cook
@kathyfigueroa5064 🤣🤣🤣 I warned you ahead of time!
"Bold and Assertive" by all means, is the ONLY way to enjoy Chex Mix! Keep it up, Jamie! I'm expecting a full "Jamie Teach Me to Cook" product line at Target and Macy's in the very near future! ❤ Love ya!
Gurl, you are headed to fame! What a fun, genuine and intelligent southern lady! We absolutely adore you, and the love you share! Thanks so much!
@@seanssupershow My goodness!!! How kind you are!!! I appreciate your vote of confidence!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@Jamieteachmetocook You are very deservingly welcome ! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Does the texture end up more like a bagged meatball soft?
@caitriley1255 Truth be told, the texture isn't the best. It is soft but not spongy like a frozen bagged meatball. I just opened a jar of them 2 days ago and added it to a jar of pasta sauce. It made for a good, quick supper, and my husband didn't complain about it. But it's not as good as a freshly made meatball, and I'll be the first to admit it. But---if you consider it emergency or "survival food," then it ain't bad. 😁😁 If you have a chance, make a small batch and see what you think. I'm interested to hear your thoughts!!
Great idea. Wish I could have some chickens.
Your channel came up in my feed today, 6/22/24. Everyone needs a friend like you, fun, chatty, great personality and inspiring. Hope to see more videos from this you. I’m not much of a cook/baker, but I think I can make these. 🤗
Oh my goodness!!!! You've made my day!!! Thank you!!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video---I bet if you try, your cheese wafers will be divine!!!
My mom was from the south but I’ve never seen or eaten a liver wurst sandwich!! Is this the same or similar to what northerner’s call “Scrapple”?! It looks very similar but I’m not sure.
Hi Jessica! Liver mush is similar to scrapple but the only "meat" in it is liver. Scrapple contains all kinds of odds and ends from the pig---from the snooter to the tooter! 😁😁
Okra seasoned up nice in the air fryer is fabulous. And I talk a lot too so as the video goes, I may hit edit and add more.
I just found your channel, and I’m so glad that I did. I usually add turnips to my vegetable beef soup and a bad of Cole slaw mix - the angel cut that is super thin. I’ve never pressure canned this soup because of the cabbage. Everyone told me to add it when I served it; nope, I’ll cook it nice and long and let the flavors meld and freeze it! I’m not a rebel when it comes to canning; other things, yes, but not with anything I’m sharing with my kids and grandkids! I agree with another review, I think we could be friends even though I’m old enough to be your mother!
Well then, let's be friends!!! 😁😁😁 And thanks so much for watching, and for commenting!! ❤️
What about cabbage, can it go in
Great question, Evelyn! I love cabbage, but the one time I put it in the soup, it turned to mush due to the pressure canning. You can always cook up a bit and add to your soup when you go to warm up a jar. That way, it doesn't get overcooked.
@@Jamieteachmetocook thank you for your reply I have watched several videos on canning cabbage sou and I do think I will give it a go to put cabbage in my canned hamburger vegetable soup. I love cabbage taste in my soup so I will try it.
Wow guys that's egg-cellent. Pure poultry in motion!! The Tooeys gang says howdy!!
Haaaaaaa!! Love it!!!
I cannot find the recipe 😅

Can I can throughly cooked soup ?
Yes, you sure can!!!
Be right over!!😂
Delicious 🤤😋❤
Absolutely love this channel.
Well, I'm beyond complimented! Thank you so much for watching!!! ♥
Good ole scrapple
Scrapple
Hi! Do you know---I've never tried Scrapple! It's weird, too, because my Dad is a butcher, and I grew up around folks who had 'hog killings' and used up everything from the "rooter to the tooter!" Anyway, liver mush and Scrapple are cousins, but they are definitely different products. Liver mush contains cornmeal, and Scrapple doesn't. I'm gonna have to try some because now I'm thinking about it!! 😁 Thanks for watching!
@@Jamieteachmetocook I enjoy your content. However, Scrapple does contain cornmeal, historically it contains buckwheat but not many commercial producers use it these days. For example, the two "big" producers of Scrapple in the Northeast are Rapa and Habbersett. the ingredients for RAPA scrapple are Pork Stock, Pork , Livers, Pork fat , pork snouts, Cornmeal, pork hearts, Wheat flour, salt and spices, Habbersett ingredients are Pork Stock, Pork, Pork Skins, Cornmeal, Wheat flour, Pork hearts, Pork Liver, Pork Tongues, Salt and spices. Is there a large population there with a German heritage ? In the end Scrapple is a Liver mush i guess lol.
@billwicketvogel1787 Well, mercy! I got took to school and it warms my heart you'd take the time to inform me. See---my husband is from North Carolina, and his family introduced it to me back when we got married. I'm from GA and had never had it. I mistakenly called it Scrapple and got the stink-eye from Grandmother Taylor. She informed me it was NOT Scrapple because she wouldn't eat it if it was. Sooooo...I was going off her 80 years of her experience, and the little I knew about it I learnef from the meat counter. I guess the main thing is this: eat some pan-fried processed pork products and enjoy! 😆😆 (P.S. There's a Liver Mush Festival every June in Marion, NC!! I've got it on my bucket list!!)
Love it!!
Well, hello 'Mainer'!!!!! I love your state!!! And I love you for commenting!! I hope to be 'Down East' soon!! Thanks for watching! ❤️

Now that’s a sandwich I also like a peanut butter banana sandwich with little mayonnaise and cheese
Cody, you're my kind of people because I love that, too!!!! Never thought to put cheese on it, but I'm gonna have to try it! Thanks for watching!!
Yumo! I bet those crunchy onions would be delicious in that!
Heck yeah they would!!! Great idea!!
Thank you for sharing this amazing recipe. I will make this for sure.👍👍😃😃
My pleasure, Mary!!!! Thanks for watching! ❤️
You are precious. Love listening. Been making my own vanilla for a year and a half. I had plenty for gifting this year. Can’t wait to try some Mexican beans. Once you make your own vanilla, you’ll never go back.
Linda, YOU are precious!! Thanks for watching! ❤️ I agree--- homemade is best!!!
That’s a great idea , so you use a roster to cook it? But the the sauce where is your wet ingredients list can’t find it 😢
