@@sevendyseven4090 he mentioned 3 guys, so one or two could have been distracting him by asking questions regarding the body or trunk area and the other guy doing this to the engine; i guess lesson is be very cautious when selling your car, and bring a friend with you if possible

Checked with Carvana and their bid would be very low due to the difficult market for alternative fuel vehicles in California.

CarMax, WeBuyAnyCar and the like typically lowball, but it is a minefield trying to weave a path between the industry buyers and outright scammers.

We have two other (larger) vehicles and both of us work from home.... that's originally why I was planning to sell the Civic. And I'd rather have a pair of e-bikes or scooters that enable me/us to get to our town quickly and without any parking hassle. The trade does not like any alternative fuel vehicles as they're hard to resell - Carvana would only give me a couple thousand US$ for it which blows my mind. Plus, our leadership is neglecting the infrastructure for both CNG and Hydrogen vehicles... shameful.

@@RuudNoordzij i just sold my (technically alternative fuel) '14 fusion Energi to carvana for $9600 - that is strange - they pay well

I did not give it away... that would be stupid. An EV is not strictly zero emissions either when looking at how the fuel us generated. California registered it as Zero Emissions in 2012.

I already had a service scheduled that included oil change and coolant flush. It was throwing codes and the CEL was on. Helps to watch the video first before commenting.

@samkitty5894 Not all civics are great. My kids had terrible luck with both a 2002 and 2004 model. Also Corollas are more reliable and much easier to work on.

Yes, I was very discouraged by that event and the fact that several other interested parties flaked on me when making arrangements to meet tilted the scales as well. Plus, after my mechanic did the scheduled oil service and flushed the coolant twice, I got a very nicely driving Civic that I'd only part with for a very interested buyer who does not need or want to negotiate it down.

i agree - if you want to sell that car - don't let one crummy group of people stop you from what your doing in life

Not crumbling, we have just lost trust. Be smart keep that in mind in every facet of your life. We will eventually transition into a trust-less society with usage of things like bitcoin and similar technologies where trust is not required for the system to stay operational.

I have 3 of the Anker 200 watt panels, I averaged 125 to 130 watts per panel. Also in SoCal on a sunny day. Input to the Anker SOLIX F2000/767 PowerHouse.
