Yes art is something that needs a shoulder to sit on. So yes, there may be some inspirations, we can see same in all Hollywood movies as they progressed they use previous movies as base. If we look at marvel they took inspiration from starwars, not to emntion spiderman series. Now dune might have taken inspiration from madmax etc. This movie started shooting before dune. But still I see many elements that are completely unique. And that is a great feat considering first Indian movie of sci-fi. Nevertheless, story is completely based off India and Hinduism and that dystopian setting everything as per scriptures.
