The totems in the core are named "Darkness totems". The core doesn't turn geothermal energy into simple electricity, but MAGICAL electricity. That's an important distinction imo. I think that white liquid is magic, and by extension, determination.

Maybe there are multiple knights? Other people with weird soul stuff going on. Kris could be a Knight, Suzie could be a Knight, Noelle could be a Knight, Heck maybe Asriel is the Knight who made card kingdom. I'm talking out of my butt here clearly, but at this point who knows.

1, I don’t think the knight entered the darkworld. The knight can manipulate things just by moving objects. That’s what we see Kris doing at the end of chapter 2. They open the door. Shut the lights off and probably more we can’t see. 2 Kris stepped back because the grand fountain is something they didn’t create. It’s more of a fountain made naturally. 3 Kris could have opened the fountain during the night, the pie was just a bait to try to convince us Kris didn’t do anything. 4 Noelle and Berdly could have stumbled into the fountain. We see Kris and Susie get curious, why can’t they. Them waking up is also just what Susie and Kris do. They obviously wake up. Just cause we don’t see it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

Since this video just got promoted by Spookydood, i thought I'd add some further thoughts to this that I never added in the video. 1. The "Core Theory" is LITERALLY the concept that Gaster is attempting to rewrite the ending of Deltarune. Yes, there's more details, elaboration regarding what the Player's role in the story is, etc, but that is the core idea of the theory. 2. Everything I have said about the Angel representing the 'original author' of the story trying to stop Gaster is mere speculation - yes, it is interesting, and could tie into the theory and give it higher stakes, but it isn’t part of the core theory itself. 3. In retrospect, I think the theory is a little too charitable to Gaster. He certainly has his own agenda that he wants to carry out. One last note - as of the time of making this comment, I'm currently in the process of writing the script for my next theory. The theory will be about solving who the Knight is - and I'll be working on the theory with another person. Expect it to come out within the next few months. Anyhow, thanks for stopping by, i guess.

Has anyone mentioned how Jevil saying "The Knight's Hand is drifting forward" could mean that the knight was about to / making a fountain *right then*? I don't think we see the computer lab until it's dark-fountained. That's an avenue that's similarly likely to Kris creating it the night before Ch. 2, a common point in support of Kris-Knight. Sure, the characters standing where they are might not matter when they leave, but it certainly doesn't out Kris as being the knight since there was plenty of time for the fountain to already exist otherwise.

You change positions within the dark worlds, it's literally shown in chapter 1 you blind idiotic theorist, I will however accept if Kris is not the Knight if Toby chooses they are not.

King, and Queen, just BELIEVE THEY KNOW/KNEW THE KNIGHTS MOTIVES, they have not been confirmed to have met the knight, as pointed out by SpookyDood in his video "In defence of KrisKnight theory", also, in a later video he states that he does not believe Kris is the knight, so, neither King nor Queen have met the knight, they are guessing the Knights motives and or goals.

I dont buy shadow crystals making you stronger, the only evedence you put forward is that spamton was much stronger after getting the neo body, which no duh its designed to be a strong body, and that spamtons attacks "look similar" to jevils, and to thag i simply say they dont, they example of them looking similar you put up didn't look remotely similar at all. Jaru did the same thing where he assumed the crystals make you stronger without sufficient evedence, or really anything suggesting it does. In my humble opinion the most likely option is that only strong creatures can get a shadow crystal for one reason or another.

So I would make 3 save files in each chapter and I will beat the game regularly and then the 2nd will be a little bit more of looking in detail and the 3rd one will be the secret boss

13:27 when he said that the goner/vessel maker might have taken place in the fountains, my first thought was: what if the vessels were titans & the souls were supposed to be the titan's brains/heart/etc. you get what I mean right?

What I like to believe, is that dark worlds work like most rpgs, they have prior story, you just never get to experience it, so what if the lightners are just players? It just takes a normal pace when lightners enter?

One thing I would like to point out: the text when clicking on the closet doesn’t have to be irrelevant or proof that the knight was in the closet. I had always assumed it was there for snowgrave, and that when Kris gathers up everything in the room, they also stash Birdly’s body in the closet.

Perhaps a counterpoint to your last statement: it could be that the game over screen does not represent the death of Kris, but rather the death of the player's control over Kris - it is the soul that is in battle, after all. Perhaps the game over screen occurs because the player is no longer in control to stop Kris from doing Knight things?

HEAR ME OUT: Seam is Gaster. We know Gaster was split across the timeline, and Seam says darker yet darker. There are not counter arguements at all because what Gaster lacks in concrete lore, he makes up for in LACK OF CONCRETE LORE!!!!!!

6:06 You said that ch3 being structurally different in how it is played and that it will focus on the plot less, But I don't see how that disproves Kris being the knight Perhaps you meant that due to the previous chapter's dark fountains being created by the knight, that means that in ch3 due to it being different, It will not have the knight open a fountain Though Toby could've very easily not meant it in this way, Maybe the darkners in this world will have no concept of the knight but this still does not mean Kris is not the knight

But people can move around in a room after they enter a dark world, after ch 1 fountain was sealed Kris and Susie ended up in the unused room instead of the supply closet

it's far more likely kris is just capable of wielding the same powers as the knight, rather than them actually being the knight, and from what we've heard about kris, they are far from a villain, they aren't even THAT mean, kris just doesn't have the motivation / driving force to do what the knight is planning.

Two things: First: why are we assuming that is impossible for them to move inside of the room after the Dark Fountain was created? We have proof that this possible with the first chapter! Susie and Kris enter the Supply Closet Dark World and when they close the fountain, they are in the Abandoned Classroom. Also, Noelle was holding those books when she went in. We see her holding them in school 2: Why did you assume that Toby saying that since chapter 3 is not going to be so lore heavy, it means it's Dark Fountain CERTAINLY was NOT created by the Knight? Maybe the narrative reason for that is, since we had this big reveal, the next chapter is more lore light for the implications of the reveal to sink in by ourselves. Since, we should keep it in mind, this chapters were supposed to be released together.
