    On 2:17 you can see how many pages there are inside a template but it is not visible in mine. When I select a template, automatically it opens up the left sidebar asking me to start customizin colors. How can we get to see what is included in a template. Also, I do not get an option to delete a previously imported site (2:28) How can I fix these? Thank you.

    I wish Yaarp or Custom Relaed Posts teams provide their plugings as pure blocks. I'd love if I can use them like the Query Loop block with all the options like if i want to just display the featured image or just the title or just the excerpt or the date or author or a comination of all those but their underlying algorithm remains like how it is now. Underlying algo with the modern gutenberg block front end options would be sweet.

    new to WP and not a developer. I am stuck with a customization but unable to find any suitable solution. I finally narrowed down what to do. I want to modify an existing block like the "Title" block and maybe add some customization within it to suit my needs. Can I just create a duplicate of the Title block and make customization? WIll that work?

Only thing missing here is that it would have been nice to learn how to link the entire card as a link to the post as opposed to still having to click on either the title/image. I wanted to get rid of the bulky elementor and recently found out that GB is a very lightweight alternative. But making a transition from elementor is a very cuborsome process for a beginner like me. So I have been searching for GB tutorials lately and this one turned out to be the most helpful. Thanks. One question: is there any way that we can add Shadow to the button with GB or gutenberg without needing a separate plugin or CSS coding? In elementor it was pretty straight forward.

    It is frustrating that the native Query block doesn’t have a single post picker but I’ve gotten around this by simply using a keyword search parameter. That way you can pull in specific posts without any paid blocks. And then used the native Post Template block to setup your layout.

    I have been trying for several days to figure out how to migrate my blogger site to WordPress without taking down my blogger site while I work on the new site. No one seems to be able to help me. But it seems like this is the way? I can basically build my new WordPress site On Local by exporting my blogger data to a dummy site on local...build the website with WordPress and then when it's the way I want it, transfer to a web host using my current custom domain name on blogger? (I won't be able to test links though until it's live?)

    • @BuildThatWebsite
      @BuildThatWebsite 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You could definitely use LocalWP to rebuild your blogger site on WordPress. This is a good option if you want to make a lot of design changes or you are new to WordPress and want to be able to easily create new versions of the site / start over. Another option would be to just build it live on your webhosting using a subdomain (no-index the site while building) and then change the domain name when you're ready to go live. This allows you to test all the internal links and make sure everything is working. Transferring from LocalWP to Live hosting is usually not too hard, but it can sometimes cause headaches for people who are new to WordPress.

    • @paigevande6355
      @paigevande6355 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@BuildThatWebsite Thank you for your response. I have downloaded the LocalWP software and am going to try it that way. I was unable to get the web host I had chosen to create a subdomain (and there was no phone help...just chat and email)...and it was becoming a huge headache. Hopefully I'll be able to navigate going live when the time comes. Do you have a tutorial for that? Your tutorial on using LocalWP is very good: clear...and without a lot of unnecessary stuff. Thank you.

      @BuildThatWebsite 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      These days Elementor is quite fast on good hosting. They've made a lot of improvements regarding code size and asset loading. You can improve it further with proper caching and a CDN. There are plenty of Elementor sites on the web with load times under 1.0 seconds.

    Hello, your tutorial is awesome! Great job. I am searching for WP table plugins that can integrate with WP scraping plugins. So my aim is to create table that has info from data scraped from various webpages. Is that possible with this plugin or some other plugin? I don't want to code that much, so looking for something very simple! Thanks a bunch in advance! :)

    • @BuildThatWebsite
      @BuildThatWebsite 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You'd probably need to use a 3rd-party scraper to CSV and then you could manually upload the CSV into TablePress. I don't think you're going to find a tool that scrapes directly to TablePress, but I could be wrong.

    i think its cool what you're showing here but I would rather have all of the control in the block itself (in php) no need for query loop or things like that.

    • @BuildThatWebsite
      @BuildThatWebsite 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sure, PHP is always going to be more flexible and powerful. However, 99% of WordPress users can't code PHP.

    • @halifaxhiker
      @halifaxhiker 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I assume they mean a custom-coded block in PHP / ACF. My issues with that is then there is no flexibility with the layout inside the loop (beyond what hardcoded config options you may have coded in). Also the editing experience of an ACF block isn’t ideal. These days, I get more excited about ways to do as much as possible within the block based and FSE system with just native blocks and patterns and as little custom code as possible… or maybe some block styles, variations, or filters added to native blocks.
