2017 F250 6.2 towing 9,000 lbs
**Clip of gauge cluster at highway speed at 2:55** Short vid of hitching, load squat on truck and towing ability. I might be a little off on some of my details, but its close enough. My truck has the 6.2 gas engine with 3:73 gearing. The rv gross weight is 9600 lbs. It wasn’t fully loaded, but it did have some stuff in it and around 1/3 tank of fresh water, so I’m gonna guesstimate 9,000 lbs. A tongue weight of about 750 lbs (maybe a little more) made the truck sit down about 2 inches. The truck got the rv up to speed easily, handled nicely down the road, and maintained speed easily only downshifting to 4th a few times (truck

Saying goodbye to my ole 7.3 and hello to the new Superduty
มุมมอง 1976 ปีที่แล้ว
Sad day, but it was time for a change. Sold my late model 99 7.3 Powerstroke and stepped into a 2017 F250 with the 6.2 gasser. I’m loving the new truck so that softens the blow. There will be videos of the new Superduty to come.

There might be easier ways to go about it but this is how I got it done along with some tips to make it easier on you. I also give you some results/improvements I saw in the truck afterwards. In case it matters, I did get written permission to mention Riffraff diesel in this...

Here are the current specs on my truck: 1999 F-250 XLT 4x4 crew cab swb (late 99’) Curr...
7.3 Powerstroke dies in the rain. Or does it???
มุมมอง 6K6 ปีที่แล้ว
Sorry, not the best quality, but it gets the point across. My truck would choke off while idling in the rain or buck real hard while driving in the rain. After some research I found it could possibly be the wiper motor. EDIT I have since found out that the root of the problem was the CPS. I had changed it out, but not with a Ford OEM part, and the problem persisted even with the new aftermarket...
Miata NB tire and wheel fitment
มุมมอง 5K8 ปีที่แล้ว
Just a short video for anyone looking for fitment info for their Miata. This is a 1999 Miata. The wheels are 15x8 Konig Dial Ins with 25 offset. The tires are 205/50/15 Nitto NeoGens. I haven't modified the suspension, rolled or pulled the fenders, or tweaked the alignment. This was truly a "plug and play" set up. I don't believe this would work on an NA without mods......Sorry for shaky video ...

Since this video, I have moved onto a newer 6.2 gas F250. I really liked my 7.3 but not so much the way it towed.
