Hi, this doesn't work anymore. You can't keep choosing to brace. It greys out after first time. Have to use a different command after that.

I usually leveling by boarding enemy, maybe i have tips for you guys if u have less crew than the enemy. - For Opener, i mostly experienced NPC starting with either Fire Deck Gun or Brace. There's also chances that NPC starts with Attack or Musket. -If NPC starts with Fire Deck Gun, the next command its always Brace. It also applies to Attack Command Start or Musket Start. -After Brace, the enemy will Attack.(Attack is choosed if you still have less crew than enemy, if not, enemy gonna choose musket) For Attack Start and Musket Start in third turn is Fire Deck Gun. -Then NPC will chose Musket for 4th turn. At this time you should know the pattern already. Except the Musket Start in this 4th turn will choose attack. TLDR; There's 3 Pattern if Less Crew Boarding Opener: -Brace/Fire Deck Gun -Musket Volley -Attack -Fire Deck Gun/Brace -Brace -Brace -Attack -Fire Deck Gun -Fire Deck Gun -Musket Volley -Attack -Musket Volley If you guys have more crew at the start or winning in defensive boarding until enemy crew is less than you, this is the pattern. Opener: -Brace/Fire Deck Gun -Fire Deck Gun/Brace -Musket Volley -Musket Volley -repeat Make sure you guys pressing the command at the last second so the NPC cant respond to it And also use Boarding Upgrades and Boarding Knowledge for easier boarding. If there's a mistake, do tell. Im also still learning the pattern but this far im leveling with this method and have no problem with it.

It would be better if such conclusions were drawn on the example of several boardings (10 -20). Why remove boarding for the AI?

Nice video, if those new players manage to get to that point...The update would be nice if the rest of the game wasn´t ruinned as it is now... Within the same ship rank it´s almost impossible to even get close to pull it off. Our extremely inacurate guns don´t match the sniper near perfection accuracy of the NPCs. More than that is they can sail and turn easily in every direction and it seems that wind direction almost have no effect on them and they will sail agaisnt the wind almost at full speed without any problems. We have to take a huge risk to attempt a boarding within the same rank and even 1 rank lower than us because most likely we will be forced to sink them or sink ourselves before we can get close enough. Supposing we manage to we get close to attempt the boarding we already lost a lot of crewman that it´s still a huge risk and the NPC ship already started the battle with almost double the crewman we requiring us a lot more shots to get that crew down to a more balanced state. And the repair system it´s a pain and will not help much except for the few lost crewman we can retrieve. In the end, by my own experience I say that within the same rank and 1 rank lower Elite does not worth the risk in the current state of the game, we most likely end up quiting the boarding and rush for the kill to save ourselves or lose our hard earned ship and upgrades. I used to love playing Naval Action, unique and the best game within sailing and combat genre from the Age of Sails but now it´s one of the most frustrating gaming experiences a gamer can have from the battles to progression, adquiring funds, getting new ships or build something takes lots and lots of time and dedication, way and I mean way more grinding than it should. It´s sad but true, a once awesome so much loved game is now hated by almost every player on the community because of the changes made so far and they keep changing it to worse and worse and unfortunatelly the future of the game doesn´t look promising at all. We still hope things change and the game rise again but what are the developer´s hopes on this one?!

Hey Naval Gaming. Can you do a new TH-cam about the same just now there are 3 servers.

Why there are no men on the decks of these ships? When can we walk around the decks? Need to add some rooms to visit and have a main bridge to control the ships.

I just started playing this. Am still doing passenger missions, but am going to buy new Ship soon . is there a way in game tocompare ships, an also, to know which are the max guns a ship can carry ?

Instead of bow or stern raking, I eliminated both port and starboard armor and then used chain to take out the crew. Takes longer, but is easier.

This no longer seems to work. I've had several boarding engagements and the AI NEVER chooses to fire deck guns while I'm in brace.

I think they fix this, by not allowing us to attack at the last moment anymore

Big thanks for this one. The thing that had me scratching my head was how to deliver cargo and passengers to foreign ports since when i tried it i was denied entry. But yeah having to be in a traders ship makes a lot of sense tho lol.
