Hakko FR-300 Desoldering a flyback in about a minute
มุมมอง 2818 ปีที่แล้ว
B D Enterprises sells on Amazon but there is also a guy on the pinside forums who works for them who sometimes packages…. Just got a new toy…The Hakko FR-300. I change quite a few flybacks, assuming that the flyback cooperates, with a solder sucker and braid it usually takes me about 5-10 minutes just to desolder. I have had the Hakko for about a month now and I have to say that I should have i...

Tempest Lights Project Video 1

Concept only not sure how it will turn out yet…… The idea is to have led lights react to game sounds. will probably use a micro controller in the finished project but for now I am testing the layout, light diffusion, and marquee light isolation. The sensor I am using now reacts to beats but eventually, I want to make a sensor which reacts to frequency and can drive multiple colors at one time.

Warning I subscribed for the 1/8 GT40. I received 14 months of subscriptions then they stopped but still charged. I’ve reached out to DeAgostini several times over the past few months. They’re response..they’re working on it? No resolution yet

use a head gun on the shrink tube. it doesn't get as hot as the soldering iron.

I came across some guys installing fiber and they gave me 20 meters of the stuff. But I had the same experience as you.... Too brittle and dangerous to use.

Did you 3D print the maintenance pit too? I'd love to have those STL files for my Deagostini falcon! Great job ❤

Nice job - you did justice to the kit. I would have loved to have seen the video slowed to normal speed with you commentating as to what you were doing; the paint colours and brands that you were using etc. I'd like to see more of your model builds.

I went with paragrafix so I used the original but i do have a lot of shapeways printed items in my Falcon. I still recall the time I bought a 80 dollar cockpit nose only to drop it and see it shatter into about 20 pieces. 😬

My main factor in deciding to go with insignia white not only being a novice but looking at reference photos of the bottom of the Falcon which has a lot less weathering it’s a very light color so I felt very comfortable with the AS-20 even though I do think archive x is a great choice.

I juggled with the colors for a long time but being a novice I decided to play it safe and go with the insignia white. I saw several falcons painted with it and looked awesome. So, at the time of writing this I’m well into weathering the bottom and I’m happy with it. I’ve seen some awesome paint jobs with the archive x also and came very close to ordering it after conversing with the owner back when I was at a loss. I complete the build back in 2017 and it’s been in storage unpainted till this year. My passion was through the roof back when I started but I got burn out on it because I did a lot of extra lighting for the cockpit and interior but little by little I’m on my way to completing it. I do a little here and there every other day or month just keep my sanity. Haha. Good video, I wish more people would see it.

Hi, just wanted to let you know that the yellow fiber isn't fiberglass, it's Kevlar. Same Kevlar used in bullet resistant vests! There's actually special Kevlar cutting tools for working with glass fiber optics. Now you know! Thanks for the video!
