@@hill1776 😂
Depends where you are, southern deer sure, Michigan, Wisconsin and Canadian deer? Probably not lol. Big difference too. Your deer down there look about 100 lbs, deer up here get to be 200+lbs. Im going to hunt with my 686 5" this fall. But you'll get a lot more performance with your carbine
@@tonkatank045 I’m definitely not taking my 9mm carbine during regular rifle season when I have much better options to use, early rifle season, however, is a different story. We can only harvest antlerless deer during early rifle season so I’ll most likely take my 9mm during early rifle.
What state are you in? Why couldn't your uncle just give it to you and let you take it home?
@@Wildwestwrangler VA and he could, I didn’t know that older antique firearms did not have to be transferred between family members at the time.
I totally agree, I bought a PMR about 8 or 9 years ago, it ran great when I first got it. I put about 300 rounds thought it with no problems. I cleaned it and it sat in the gun safe for about 6 or 7 years before I took it to the range to shoot it again. It ran like crap, failure to feed, jams. I cleaned it again and still had some problems, but it was a little better. Long story short this gun has a be clean and oiled. And don't forget to clean the inside of the magazines. Thanks.

@@joedouche3818 thanks for the comment
I never shoot a new gun without cleaning it and oiling it first. Not sure if true or not, but I once was told the kind of lubricant guns are shipped with, is more to preserve the guns for long storage than for actual shooting. So this is something I would be doing even without watching the video. Still, very much appreciated confirmation that I need to keep doing this with my guns.

@@brunningwolf it’s probably nice but I ain’t invested in it like I am this one… thanks for the comment bud!
Nice video. CVA makes some very accurate muzzleloaders. Powerbelts and round balls are both deadly on deer. If you don't already, try cleaning your muzzleloader with hot soapy water. Then, use Bore Butter or Balistol to protect your bore while stored away. I've used this method for many years now and don't have problems with rusting. 🦌
I might make another video using this gun soon. Thanks for the comment!
Awesome video! Y’all are so cute together! You got the most, but looked like she got the biggest so y’all both won! Great day… Really liked the picture-in-picture video, was neat to watch multiple angles at the same time. Awesome editing!👍😁
@@TNTOutdoors4U man that thing took me a month to edit and about 3 weeks to upload… thanks for the comment!
Why would the US military carry a 9mm if it were not meant to kill a full grown man? I am from Texas, if you kill a deer over 150 lbs you were very lucky, most are smaller. 9mm is a .35 bullet. Very informative video.
😂 This happened me before, an Adult moth entered my right ear fluttering AND crawling inside for like an hour😅😅
Wild stuff!
Use a brush
@@user-vo8zz9sb7x I’ve done that a few times recently. It works pretty good
Order you some pure mink oil works little better than bore butter
@@brucelewis1017 10/4 buddy
@@HILLBILLY_HARD I order my pure mink oil from track of the wolf I've been using it for years. When I clean my muzzleloader I run water in a coffee pot and use it to dump down the barrel and run patch down to dry it out then I cover patches with the mink oil and run those patches down the barrel and I use those patches to rub on outside and let it cool and you good to go
That looked fun.
@@mikemackay86 definitely! Thanks for the comment!
Who would have thought cleaning and lubing a gun would help it function reliably. Incredible.... 🤦♂️🤔🤣🤔🤦♂️
I think the problem is Glock. You can literally take a Glock out of the box and run 500 rounds of ammo through it without ever cleaning it or lubing it. People don’t associate polymer firearms with oil the same way they do with steel firearms. As obvious as it is, there are multiple people on the internet having problems with these guns and according to my comment section, this video has helped hundreds of people maybe thousands get their PMR30’s running smoothly. Thanks for the comment!
Yup this made the gun run better
Thanks for the feedback!
The best product is the one no one needs to fix.....
Glock… but I don’t think Glock makes a .22 magnum handgun that holds 30 rounds so…
Thanks for your post and recommendation.
You're welcome
My advice, use Birchwood Casey Barricade after a deep clean for rust protection. Works better than bore butter and last for a long time.
Glad i saw this video, i bought one and the videos i been seeing are not real encouraging, this apparently is a good fix based on comment if i run into the issue, i haven't taken the gun out yet. And thank you much.
Thanks for the comment!
I drove my pin in before I stuck it down in there those things suck
Good rule of thumb. If it slides, grease. If it rotates, oil.
I appreciate your video. I was having the same issue with mine not feeding. I decided to try what you said about oiling it up good. Went to range and Fired 85 rounds through it and to my surprise no issues. It actually cycled four different brands of ammo two different 30 and 40 grain bullets. This gun really needs oiling and cleaning each time its taken out. Thanks for the help. This gun became awesome and fun to shoot!!
Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah they got fixed before it went into the car. This was just a mock-up to make it run for a test.

Thanks man for reading my comments. Im getting ready to order the M-Carbo steel magazine for the PMR-30 and the best part is that they are interchangeable with the CMR Keltec 30 carbine also. And yes 20 rounds are plenty!! I was already loading 20 before i watched your video. Truly helps with the feeding of the rounds.
Thanks for commenting! I love this PMR30!
I think this Pistol is great to shoot. Its very reliable if people use the tips that were given in this wonderful video!!!
Thanks for the comment!
I agree with your review all the way!!!!!
My only issue with my PMR30 was with the magazine not locking into place and staying there. A bit of searching led me to learn that if you use some UV glue and build up the small protrusion on the outer side of the magazine and shape with a micro file until it securely clicks into place, make sure that the magazine doesn't have an issue with removal
I didn’t have to do anything to mine except hold it tight and lube it… thanks for the comment!
Mine runs EVERYTHING
KEL TEC PMR 30 is junk. Had a new one blow up in my hands due to faulty manufacturing. Bad thing was they knew about the problem and the possibility of it exploding but failed to do a recall.
This has not been my experience but thanks for the input!
Funny, but as a poor kid growing up, all we had was 3 in 1 ! Never heard of Hoppe's ! Lol ! Used it on shotguns and rifles ! Never gave it any thought, but the guns always worked without issue ! Being a kid, I just thought thats the way they were supposed to work ? Lol....! Maybe it was the Oil ? 😂🤣😂
It’s pretty good stuff that’s for sure!
@@HILLBILLY_HARD It wouldn't surprise me that these Woke A holes don't try to get it off the market ! Or next, blame it on making guns work, that kill people ! Lol...! Sad !
I load mine with 30. No issues. Whats the big deal?
It’s mostly because I buy boxes of 50 rounds, Just easier to load half a box into one mag and half in to the other. But it does seem to work easier and smoother with 25
