Glad to have bought my 6th gen. Very thankful to have it.
Solid choice!
I had an 87 LE two tone blue/silver with the T top and 305. Loved that car😢😢
Dang... it's too bad you don't still have that car..
Yeah, I sold it to a friend and after a month he got t boned and it bent the frame in the car😢😢😢@Beyondthelensproductions
it's a multimatic mustang.
I have the 2023 vx deluxe i love it Perfect ski for what im looking for.
Very reliable too in my experience.
I miss the Camaro so much. Shame on GM for killing that iconic muscle car off.
I agree with you on that one!
@@Beyondthelensproductions Yeah. That's for sure.
I totally agree, BUT... GM is all but out of the "car" business as such (like Ford) and both automakers or should I say vehicle makers, have been getting closer with each passing year, with trucks, SUV's and crossovers being pretty much it. That's the market. GM is in survival mode, with very little margin for error. I'd like to say at the 2:00 mark here, I can see the 1971-''73 Riviera 'boat tail' very clearly here, YEARS before the Riv would go into that body style for real.
True although GM does still have 3 cars in its line up compared to Ford's one.
@@Beyondthelensproductions Wow.
Their are 35000 ev fires in china each year
They may sell some of their brands to China.
Quite possible.
I watched another channel discussing this very topic. They are losing people left and right. What about BYD and Stellantis merging to become a larger company.... Seems possible as it gives BYD access in Europe and the American market. Carlos would sell out the company. We can rule out it being sold to Hyundai and Volkswagen or Mercedes Benz buying any of the brands. This gets worse by the day and he is beyond ruthless.
Just watch in the next few months ths if byd and stellantis merge it will make complete sense
@@TKsGarage Oh, I am watching.. Trust me. The report came out today. Stellantis dropped.
Oh I’m watching too! This is getting “interesting”.. I just feel bad for the factory workers over here…I’m sure once all the pieces are together it will all make sense.
@@Beyondthelensproductions They are going to pull something shady and it will be very interesting in a bad way. The workers will suffer and that is unfortunate. The American brands are paying the price.
Sadly you’re right… This is what happens when a foreign entity is running your company… They don’t care.
Congrats!!! 💪
Thanks! 😁
That HSV bumper on that G8 is a huge amount of grand. I also loved the Holden decaled Pontiac G8 V6. I'm happy that lots of Canadian G8 owners are originating Australia which is nice for all the Aussies down under. I love the HSV side skirts. Very expensive but awesome. Love the Holden spoilers alot.
Totally agree 👍
@@Beyondthelensproductions Yeah. Cheers.

I heard someone has made an offer to Stellantis for one or two of the brands. It is the American brands.it is not the Chinese that want to buy. They said some automaker. I have no idea who it is.
I heard that as well. I’m not sure who I would guess..
@@Beyondthelensproductions I guessed. It is not Chinese thankfully. I guessed Volkswagen because they had worked with Chrysler. I guessed Mercedes Benz because they brought us Charger and Challenger and 300. I then thought twice of that because of the recent past. I know it is not GM or Ford because they both killed brands and they lack sedans in their lineup in the United States. I said the only reason why GM would be involved is to buy Opel and Vauxhall back. Ford gains nothing. So outside of the brands I mentioned who would buy the brand or brands?
I would agree with you. There is absolutely nothing GM or Ford need from them, other than killing some competition but at this point with what Stellanitis is doing, they’re not much competition. I think the ones you picked are strong possibilities. Outside of those, I honestly couldn’t guess. With Mercedes Benz it would bring them into totally new segments.. hmmmm.
TK just posted that they might be selling to Hyundai… Bye Bye Chrysler, if that happens.. they’ll destroy it…
@@Beyondthelensproductions Keep thinking about it. I think if it happens we will all be shocked.
@MACONP111 Sorry I missed your comments before I ended the stream! I'm glad to hear that you've kept your 77 Trans Am. I actually saw a really nice one this past summer at a car show I was at. I will have to look up the video because it's on my channel. It caught my attention because it was a gold one just like one of my favorite matchbox cars I had as kid. The 99 Deville would be really cool too because in my opinion those are real classics now too. Thanks for taking the time to watch and interact with my stream! Always appreciated!
CO2 puts out fires.
Tavares is as delusional as the EU. So sick of the crowd that pursues relevance, wealth and power at our coerced expense, in the name of contextual frauds like "climate change".
Carlos Tavares has not learned his lesson yet. He will in good time. GM learned that we will tell you what to buy lesson the hard way from years of arrogance. The 1980's was not a good time for them. The market dictates what will be bought and sold. The sad part is watching this thing play out and it gets worse by the day.
Seems like it’s Dodge’s / Stellantis’s turn..
@@Beyondthelensproductions You said it. They are in the learning season. The people vote with their dollars. That is why the Dodge Hornet is sitting on the lots today.
@@OLDS98 Yup. Side note… I wonder why almost every electric car has to be ugly? LoL
@@Beyondthelensproductions They all have this high tech futuristic look. They should put some character in the design. I do not think the Cadillac Lyric is ugly.
No I’d agree with that and honestly the Equinox EV isn’t either.
Why are you surprised? Might be that the union may have been over aggressive.
It’s the same story. A product with a HUGE profit margin and yet that’s not enough for them that they go somewhere else to make even more profit. Yet they still expect the domestic citizens to support them.
For Chrysler/Jeep to survive, they need a US owner.
They do or at the first least an owner that understands the US market with certainly isn’t the current leadership.
I miss De Soto and Plymouth, I am going to miss Chrysler and Dodge, probably in the near future.
Why? They are all junk.
They did not use to be. @@michaelbaja1854
If Harris wins, you can kiss all production good bye. This is what happens when you give your employees 25% over a couple of years and your customers are getting 6 - 8% in the same timeframe. The top 1% of the company are going to get their paycheck no matter what. Without tariffs, this is the future.
It's been in Mexico...
Not to the degree it's about to be.
Yayy another BidenObamics win for the USA 🙄🙄💩💩
If it's made in Mexico I will walk away every time. Stellantis needs to go away.
F150 and Silverado are next. You can’t possibly pay a line worker 6 figures to tie bolts, that’s $50k work not $120k… UAW was greedy and got a deal that will kill more American jobs - they are now back to 2008 levels of membership and MORE will lose jobs. They lost 13k jobs since their “huge win”… Ford, GM and Stellantis will make sure this is chopped down further - by the time their next contract rolls in, they will have lost 60-100k jobs. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’m not as familiar with US contract specifics but in Canada those jobs are $50k range jobs and the days of the 6 figure salaries for line workers are gone. Can’t imagine GM or Ford would let it be that much different in the US. You’re speaking of a period in time that’s long gone.
@@Beyondthelensproductions that’s for new hires, within 5 years and following the range increases, you are crossing into 6 figures already. Ford’s average salary is $120k - too many people doing unskilled work make over 6 figures. Jobs will leave for Mexico…

That would be interesting. Only seen one on the road in person to date.
Thank you for the info.
Glad you found it useful!
Wouldn't it be nice of all of them listened to their customers. Yes, Ford is getting the message. GM has sedans in China, but not in the United States other than Cadillac. You covered the article and information nicely. GM might surprise us all. you never know.
Thank you for the positive feedback. GM has a habit of surprising but I wish they would do things on their own rather than wait to see what others do first. Basically I wish they were more proactive rather than reactive. But once in a while they do surprise us.
@@Beyondthelensproductions GM used to be proactive and take bold moves, but they have played it safe for a while. I wonder when they will want to lead and be out front.
@@OLDS98 Agreed! Bringing back the Firebird?
@@Beyondthelensproductions We just do not know what they will do. They have plenty of gaps in the lineup.
Exactly! Lots of opportunity!
Notification squad. Interesting take.
Thank you! I liked yours as well. I always find it interesting to see different people’s takes on the same topic.
Whoever thought that a French (Citron) - Italian (Fiat) conglomerate could properly engineer, build, and sell autos into the American market? Much less CRAPPLY BUILT TRUCKS!! FOOLS!!!
I have GOT to get me one of those electric cars! I love the idea of driving a ticking fire bomb, especially one that can reignite like a novelty birthday candle.
Hahaha That’s a good analogy! They kinda are like those birthday candles.. LoL
Taveris is not making bad decisions, he's very deliberately trying to get rid of all American labor out of Stellantis and move it to other countries namely Mexico and Canada. The high prices were to stop sales giving Taveris the leverage he needed to shut down plants and "layoff" UAW workers. Very calculated by Taveris and the Board of Directors.
I definitely can’t disagree with you on this one but what he’s forgetting is that Americans may just show him in his sales figures and not buy his products. And he can’t really afford to do that since he’s falling behind fast as it is. Over in Canada, Canadian’s showed General Motors what they thought about them when GM was gradually shutting down the Oshawa plant there. Well GM made did a 180 and didn’t shut it down and actually added production at the plant. Only time will tell though.
Then add to this they just moved Ram production to Mexico. Anyone of us were messing up as bad he is would be let go past tense. When GM was in deep, they moved those people out. I know they took the guy out who was behind when those cars were downsized in the 1980's. They moved a bunch of people at GM. Ford did it too. When you start messing with the money, they come for you. Carlos Tavares is getting off too easy. I do not know how. They fired those people at Ford after the 1989 Thunderbird came out. I will never forget that. If you are not producing, they have no use for you. This situation is beyond not understanding the market.
I don’t understand it either, he must have one heck of a lot of drag from inside the organization… He needs to be gone. Stay tuned for an upcoming video where I dive into the RAM fiasco too.
@@Beyondthelensproductions I will look forward to this. It gets worse by the day. Chrysler is back on the chopping block with a 2026 date. You cannot trust or believe anything Carlos Tavares says or the board. They will only do what is right for them.
Yup. They're not even doing what's right for the stock holders. It'll probably take them to get rid of him.
@@Beyondthelensproductions He will be there until 2026. That is what the company said. He is still talking every day. I am glad the truth came out about them trying to sell Chrysler, Dodge and Lancia to the Chinese. It would have given them a foot hold in the North American market. That is a whole other shady situation.
The scary part is this is what we know… what is there that we don’t know….
Well. If you want to get rid of Tavares. Then you might as well get rid of Fain as well. He hurt the UAW just as much as Tavares did. You can also blame the Biden EV mandates that killed the Hemi, and you want to complain about parices. You can blame the Chinese and Biden for COVID and inflation. Thats why everything is moving to Mexico and Canada. Record contacts= Record Layoffs
Yes, you’ve hit the nail on the head here.
They aren't producing EVs. That is a huge mistake as well. EVs are faster, and have fewer failure points. They don't require oil or gas. The world is transitioning to EVs weather you like it or not. Fans or no, it's way passed time. As far as dealers, good I am glad they are failing. Damned scammers promoting vehicles that kill more people than viruses is just plain sick.
When it comes right down to it, like it or not they're a business and have to produce what people want. They're starting to roll out the EV's now. What they're lacking though is variety. That's what's truly killing them.
Since the dealerships are all, all brands under one roof they should bring back Plymouth. Make Plymouth the economy brand, Dodge the performance brand and Chrysler the luxury brand. Bring back the Dakota, but badged as a Plymouth. Bring back low content single cab and club cab pickups badged as Plymouths. Also, small cars like the Neon and Breeze. Also small and mid size SUVs/Crossovers. Dodge would have the performance models, sedans, coupes and something like the old Durango R/T. Chrysler would have larger, luxury sedans and SUVs. It could be done.
Why bother - Chinese cars are better anyway.
You're right. They are lacking the variety that people want, which is a big problem.
You ARE joking, right?@@joskocatipovic706
RAM should be rolled back into Dodge...Make Dodge the way it was before..Except no small cars(have a Dart size for Plymouth) Dodge should be midsize to large performance cars and bring back the V8 for the RAM trucks and large cars and suv's(Durango). Bring Plymouth back with sporty, smaller cars midsize the largest and small suv's/cross overs all compact -midsize..People still buy small cars, especially these days people want pre $25,000 compact cars many companies offer them! Chrysler higher end cars a new 300,midsize suv like the Airflow with gas engines offer hybrid and electric..The minivan etc.. Jeep just keep quality up and adjust prices lower across the brands.

I think it’s especially great when you see young people out enjoying something other than the screen in front of their faces. And interacting in real time.
@@Beyondthelensproductions You summed this up nicely. I agree. It is better they do this than be into new trouble and I am not just talking the screen. I saw your AU AU too. I feel for them in Australia because Holden is gone. They are doing what these young people are doing.
What do you think of the Mazda CX 90? vs CX70? the price is almost the same.
I haven’t driven one so I can’t really comment on it but I’m not a huge fan of crossovers. I find that most of them lack style and handling.
Thank you for the insight. - will you talk about EV car?
In what sense? I’ve talked about them off and on thru my reviews. I’m not on the EV bandwagon because I’m not convinced that they are the best all and end all that many others do. I’ve been in a number of them and driven one but to me they lack soul.
Interesting information. Some interesting observations on Stellantis. As i watch this I can tell you Auto Nation met with Stellantis today. Yeah, it is that serious. Looking at the Rolls Royce I can only say we used to have large cars like that in the United States.
It should be that serious because he’s going to ruin a good car company. If we had well built large cars, that handled well that were promoted properly I think you could very quickly make the crossover market loss steam. Basically point out to the younger generation that it’s “their parents vehicle” and it would go the way of the mini van and station wagon because that’s basically what happened to those vehicles. Or point out that the crossover is basically a glorified station wagon..
@@Beyondthelensproductions There was news today. Tavares is out in 2026 and they made a bunch of management changes today in the administration. You make a valid point about cars. I wish they would take the steam out of crossovers. I hope things will change. Yes, if they had well built and well promoted cars, it would make a huge difference. Yes, they are oversized station wagons. You do not see much difference in the shape between other brands. People miss cars. It is the general public that has to change.
@@OLDS98 That’s good news about Tavares but I don’t think that’s nearly soon enough.. I don’t think the stock holders did either because their stock dropped today…. Agreed but if the advertising campaign was done right the public opinion could be changed. Think VHS versus Betamax… Betamax was a far superior product as proven by the fact that TV stations continued to use the product years after the general public abandoned it. Now I’m not saying cars are inferior to crossovers but I’m simply saying that public opinion can be manipulated. I could go on with examples of that.. Someone in the comments section somewhere did reference something that he read referencing the fact that GenZ has grown tired of crossovers so maybe this is the beginning of the tides shifting… We shall see.
@@Beyondthelensproductions They basically said he was out in 2026 if he last that long. They shuffled the deck with other executives. They added responsibilities to others and some decided to leave. They did approach Mopar Jesus( I cannot spell his name) and he said no. I suspect he will end up at Ford or GM in good time and work his magic there. That stock did take a hit. That is unfortunate. I recall VHS and Beta Max. The tv newsrooms did stay with a bit longer. Now everything is digital. I think sometimes we cannot keep up with the changes. There are so many dvd formats now. I hope the tide is shifting. I really do. It sucks when you drive and you cannot see in front of you or behind you because of some suv/crossover. I will tell you the car companies started this. Recall the minivan? That is dying slowly right now. It is nearing its run. Car makers said they could not make money off small cars. They saw profit in big cars. Then in the early 1990's they switched to suv and crossovers because there is money there. They did not have to comply with all the regulations. Right now the cash is rolling in with suv's and trucks. They thought electric was going to be the next big thing. They now have realized that this not the case and they all backed off that shift. They are looking for the next thing that will make them money. I say Hybrids and Toyota is winning that race. GM is working on new engines and more suvs. If Ford gets a Charger fighter out, a shift to cars may come. I admit I do like the Oldsmobile Bravada suv( the last one), but I would not own one. That is why I am currently looking for a 1995-1996 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Regency Elite Series II in the United States and Canada.
The thumbnail looks like Starsky and Hutch had a baby.
I can see that lol
I’m pretty sure the next Camaro will be an AI designed four door coupe crossover. They should just save some time and put racing stripes on the Blazer and call it good.
Ugh... I hope not...

Let’s get over it. Pontiac is not coming back. There is no business case to bring it back- none.
You could be right but you never know with GM.
I don't think GM will ever bring back the Pontiac brand. Maybe bring out a GMC or Chevy called a Pontiac, but never the brand itself.
Maybe. Maybe not. Only time will tell.
