I did all this my LG tv has aged but when not booting up like TH-cam best result is unplugging tv then everything works for now , I'm buying a new tv ,hope this helps you

Good video, overall, & I'm still leaving a like. Appreciated the explanations of how it all worked. At least on the model I have, the screws are hex head screws, & I didn't have a spanner that fit the tight confines. Using a flashlight to see where the hole was from the outside, I easily got a safety pin through to clean it, which fixed the problem. So, for anyone else with this issue, I highly recommend trying to clean it out with a pin, without taking it off, before going to the more extreme measure of unscrewing the piece & using an electric drill to clean.
