Cats are all like royal family, kind of higher class! Poor dogs are not so. anyway that is how I see them. Say my regards to the spoiled boy. We had couple of good days, for winter. And my friends are out several times a day, if I receive no call out for work. They go to a molting that start with their birth and never end till their end of their life. Hello from super stormy Scotland. Glad to hear Kind Oliver is being taken care of. It is a big responsibility to have a smart being to look after. He has the bond with you and that keep him happy. Hope the ear infection goes away soon. Wintery weather is everywhere, over there and here. We are in the middle of one of the worst storm in recent years here. We had red alert for wind, up to 100m/h wind, danger to life and property. Everywhere closed, schools, roads, trains and airports. My birds are inside today, no outdoor till tomorrow. First time in 4 years! caiques are really noisy, but only when I am around. When they are on their owe are not as noisy! Plz keep kind Oli safe and take care. That’s interesting about the caiques. Good for you to get a little break from the noise. I saw the drastic winds you are having🫨🙀 Bizarre weather. I know you will keep them very safe. Oli is back to his old tricks 😸 Jumping up on me when I’m laying down and seated. He is very stubborn to move and I have to gently push him off hahaha Keep safe and take good care!

@@patriciabarron3323 I never seen such a wind here, in the past 25 years! Broke 3 big trees in the land. Fortunately no damage to my caravan or my friends' caravan. And I was worried that the wind damage the building as there is no doors or windows and wind could have go inside and blow away the roof. But so far it did not happen. And based on the forecast the worst of the storm is gone. Gad that King Oli is back to his naughty stuff. It means he is well. He is in good hands. Thanks again and all the best,

Good morning, Hope all is well there with you and king Oliver. It is normal for cats to become big fast. They eat very little in adulthood. But when they are with us, humans, they get to eat several meals a day. Hopefully the vet will guide and help and he become the skinny model he want to be. We had a good cold and snow for 10 days. But it is ok now. We do not miss the cold! We had a good day with no rain and not too cold. The little devils are so noisy you would not missing their noise if they were close! Mr Big Bully Rubi is fine. Still a bully but way calmer than the summer. During summer, he become hormonal and could badly hurt others. When hormonal, He makes a devil face with pointy eyes and puffy head. No noise but nasty bites. Last year he sent the wife of my friend to hospital. Got 3 stiches! She tried to pet Rubi, despite all my warnings, and when Rubi moved away on his perch, she tried to grab him. Rubi bit her hand and blood was everywhere. It was mainly her fault (my opinion), but hormonal parrots mean business. Even myself get bitten, not badly but still get cuts. I had parrots all my life, since childhood, and they are all the same. When they are hormonal, they are possessed by devil. And once their rush of hormone gone away, they become the same bundle of goofy cuddly loveable bird. As always thanks a lot and all the best,

A very good evening from us, Hope you and King Oliver are fine and doing well. I hope everyone who even watched one clip, try and better the condition of their pets, specially bird pets. We do not realize, but a non-flying pet can move even inside, but a flying animal that can not fly or even try, is in a prison. Glad Mr King is happy. And surely can demand "play time" whenever he desire to! Snow is beautiful and I love it but my beautiful friends are not designed for cold. They hate snow as their feet become cold and they do not like it. They go for longer fly without sitting on any trees as all branches are frozen and have snow and ice on them. As their servant, I do as they demand and they fly as long as they decide to do so. I can say lets go home, but just as a request... Thanks,

Hello and merry Christmas. Thank you for the interest and watching. You are spot on. Although they do not like the cold, but as they are protected by good insulation. feathers, they are ok for a short time. In the cold they are going out as long as they feel comfortable, a max of 30 min or so. Most of the days shorter, unless the sun is out. Also we, human, have a body temp of 37.C and our normal heart beat is 55 to 80 per minute. But they, Macaws, have the 39.C body temp and 120 B/M heart beat. And when they fly they use the biggest muscle in their body, the chest, and their heart beats up to 220 p/m. That is why even in very cold and freezing temp, they are ok if they are healthy and if they are not siting on metal or ice. Thanks again and all the best.

Perhaps is the same for cats and he is like most of us, he starts his day by thinking about "what to eat today?" And goes to sleep thinkin and dreaming about the next days' food adventures! Being indoor is nice if get pampered like Sir Oli! My beloved friends are fine but we had rain for the past 3 days and is cold too, therefore the outdoor sessions been very short, and they are not happy. Good evening from us, It is cold here indeed. And my beautiful friends hate the cold. Their beak and feet goes supper cold very fast and they have no genetic registry to know why! We have much shorter sessions of outdoor / flying these days. They still really love to go for a wee 5 min fly though. But when they are back, they do not spend time on the trees like summer time. Directly on my hand and we go in, to their warm cabin. It is wonderful that the Mr Oliver have someone to trust and be close too. It is very kin of you to take care of him. It is one of the saddest thing when a pet does not have a good home and caring loving human friend. Lucky for Mr Oli, he has both now...Hurray. About your feline companion; while it is a great privilege to be close to one, 18 years old is like 99 years old human, if I am not mistaken. It should be a huge responsibility. The builders finally started to erect the house and it took them 4 weeks. they came around 10am and by 3 pm they were gone. The weather was terrible. -10.C for 10 days and then super cold rain. We are paying out debt for a beautiful summer. The roofer started today and my beautiful friends hate the whole building malarky. the noise, too many people and a big ugly building in the middle of their land. All of them hate the house. Good evening, Hope all is well there. My feathered friends are all ok and are doing their naughty stuff! I sincerely wish it was possible to export some of the rain we get here. These days that the weather is cold, my friends hate it when they have to fly in the rain. Their feet and beaks become extremely cold after every fly. Poor souls. Hopefully you get some good rain soon. All the best and thanks.

@@Vincent-c1d Hi, They do when they want to! They can say hello, I love you, No no no, Go away, come here. I did not train them to say any word on demand. They say thing only when they want to. Regarding keeping parrots: It is extremely demanding. They are destructive, extremely noisy and expensive to feed proper food. Not to mention that if they must be able to fly and free on a daily basis. thanks for the kind comment and all the best.
