Hi Brian. Just thought I should pass along something I read on Insta360's website. The notes for this mount state: "Do not mount a selfie stick on this accessory. Mount the cameras directly." Maybe too much stress for the mount. Might be okay if the selfie stick isn't extended but the notes don't state such.
@@ArmandGirard thanks for the info…that tracks with what I saw too. A selfie stick that’s completely closed is probably ok, but don’t extend it.
Wish I had seen this before I ordered my mini pro 4 with extended batteries
This is why TH-cam exists. Saved me all that faffing around with tweezers. Thanks!
@@KeithPollard glad it helped!
good for you until they they discontinue the regular batteries
Hopefully that won't be for a while 🙂
I don't currently own an ebike but have test ridden a few and did a couple e-bike tours on vacation in Mexico. They are a blast for sure, but I personally still get more enjoyment and satisfaction riding a regular road bike. I think those perfectly able bodied people who ebike ONLY are missing out on that . To each their own. If I ever get one, it would be more for a replacement of car trips rather than a bike enhancement. I know a couple guys who work commute on an ebike but when they get home they throw on the spandex and hop on their analog road bike. Since you mentioned going up hill. I'm 63 and not super fit but working on it and getting better. When I'm climbing and an ebike rider passes me up I do get sort of annoyed. I know it shouldn't (the rider was not close passing me or riding recklessly in any manner) but it just does. When a better fit, skilled and faster rider passes me up on said hill, I'm more like "Atta boy (or girl)!!". Even if that cyclist is going faster than the ebike rider.
Very useful information ℹ️
Thanks for watching!
Thank You ! I didn't even disconnect the tcu but was able to tap the battery out
@@andrewrasmussen Great! Glad it helped!
Pretty funny - good video.
Loving my 2024 Creo 2 Expert since May. I'm changing the placement of the mode buttons to the way yours are which makes more sense as your hands in the that position most of the time. Also having the dropper seat and the control lever removed as I don't do crazy off road trail riding but want to do some bike touring in the future. Oh, I wish my partner would get an e- assist bike to join me on some longer rides. He's still into the road biker mentality. Someday perhaps. Thanks for the informative videos. 😊
Drop him a few times on your rides and that'll convince him :-). That worked on me!
I was about to spend hours and hours unsuccessfully trying to pry the battery out and then saw this video. THANK YOU so much for making this. This is incredibly helpful and saved me so much time.
Awesome! Glad it helped!
It can be charge with powerbank or only adapter ?
The case itself can be charged with a normal plug/cord, and I'm sure you can charge it with another power bank too, although I haven't tried it. It can act as a power bank for other things, like your phone. I hope that answered your question.
This was extremely helpful! Thank you so much for making this available. ❤
Thanks for watching!
I also had the exact same impression that this case would charge my batteries, I expected it because Dji made a case with this function for Dji mic microphones. I'm disappointed
AWESOME do you know it this way the gopro videos on the hero 12 have gps tracks connnected to them?
Hey thanks for watching! As far as I know the Hero 12 does NOT have GPS tracking in it. You have to use another means to track that information.
I like your unboxing video - very detailed.
Hi Brian, i saw that you have the selfie stick that you connect to the Insta360 GO 3S. Can you take photo or video with the stick or it only serves as stick that is extended? Many thanks.
Hi there...this selfie stick just serves as an extender.
Wouldn’t it double as an external power source for the action 5 as well?
I would think so! I'll try it with some random item when I get home today.
I did the exact same, last week I ordered a mini 4 pro with fly more plus intelligent batteries. Then started reading all this bs, so the next day i ordered the mini 3 (not pro) with the standard batteries they are not here yet, i haven figured out yet if im keeping the 4 or sending it back. Before i ordered the 3 i ordered standard batteries for the 4 pro but the mini 3 will fly longer on standard batteries. idk what im doing. Maybe send it back and get another mini 3 spare. This video is exactly what I went through. Thank you
I have GoPros on the front and rear of my ebike to document cars (record TimeWarp x10 so one hour ride is a 6 minute video). I think the drivers must see the cameras since I have not had any close calls in 2024. I also have planetbike lights and wear a bright green safety vest. I also wait until 9 am on weekdays to start my ride when most people are at work. Almost 2000 miles and no accidents (knock on wood).
Damn that’s a great idea using time warp. I was considering buying that Garmin Varia with the radar and camera built in.
Very detailed video. Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you!
Thanks for watching! Glad it helped.
It acts as a powerbank to connected devices. Connect it to a charger and it'll charge the 1 to 3 batteries inside. Connect it to something else and it uses the batteries placed inside it to charge that external device. It has no fixed battery by itself and I don't know why you'd want that. Charging a battery with a battery is slower, degrades two instead of one batteries, and requires space you could use for another removable battery that can be used in the camera directly.
One use case is if you’re out on a long bike ride or something and you want to recharge a battery so you can continue recording.
@BrianRouse but you'd need a bigger case and also charge that case beforehand. Use that same extra space for another standard battery, and you won't have to wait for it to charge before using it in the camera. To rephrase: batteries require battery cells. Why put those cells fixed in the case, if you can use those same cells in another battery that can be used directly?
Hello Brian, I am on the verge to buy exactly the same kind of your bike. One of my friend told me that you hear quite strong son (may be the motor) while pedaling. Are you experience it?
When the motor is under strain, like if you're using it going up a steep hill you definitely hear a whine coming from the motor. It's not bad though. Assuming you'll be able to test ride it before you buy it, try riding it up a hill to determine if it's too much for your ears; I don't think it will be. It's also my understanding that the new version of the bike is much quieter, maybe check that out as well. Thanks for watching!
That explains why my batteries weren’t charged after leaving them in there over night. I just figured I must of forgot to press the button for it to start charging them or something 😅
That's what I thought as well 🙂
Xiaomi introduced screen mirroring into Mac Is it's treat for apple ecosystem
great tip! mine wasn't powering on so I replaced the battery, but it still won't power on :( Charging shows that the bike is fully charged though
Ugh…that sounds like a bike shop visit is in your future. :-/
was there a lens protector in the box ?
@@muazzamshahid753 unfortunately not.
Thanks for your review. Shopping for these in 2024 and I was very glad to see that you have a long history with these so I know they will hold up. I liked the felt idea too!
Do I need it (Y cable)? No not really, but do I want one? (of course 😂).
Exactly!! 😆😆
Wouldnt a mirror be much better for seing cars?
This alerts you to cars much earlier than when you might notice one in your mirror.
I’m pretty sure it was those iOS 18 battery saving tips videos that dropped every new iOS version had everyone turning off most location settings because it was “wasting” battery. Some of the settings makes sense but we should not blindly toggle settings without knowing what services uses it like emergency sos. I see this every so often happening to location related services like HomeKit automations whenever someone turns off the settings based on the video recommendations😅
I’m about 95% sure I did that. :-)
Thanks, I had the issue. Made the changes and boom, its back
Awesome!
I actually had to look up what VO2 max was since you didn’t explain. Also, it only applies to those using an Apple Watch.
Good points.
Thanks Brian, hugely helpful! Was just about to resort to brute force but your video saved me! Nice one
Very cool. Thanks for watching!
On the bigger one, if you unscrew the belt straps, don’t you get holes for the water bottle holder placement?
Did you have this issue? Where you able to pinpoint when it started?
Mine was caused by hardware failure (built-in altimeter). Watch series 7. Gps-only. If i run with the watch only (leaving my phone behind) i would never get a reading for vo2max, in addition to ground contact time, vertical oscillation, elevation gained and flights climbed. If i bring my phone with me during the run, i get vo2max score after 25 mins of outdoor running. (As the watch is able to use altimeter data from iphone). The altimeter on apple watch sometimes works, for example after being submerged in water, after riding an elevator, or after flying in an airplane. It would work for several hours or days and then stopped working. I would open a compass app on the watch and get no elevation reading, that’s how i knew it was broken and the reason I couldn’t get my vo2max score if i workout with the watch only.
@@freebeerforlosersdamn that sounds really frustrating.
There are many videos on TH-cam about DJI UAS and RID, while Amazon may accept your return (if you spend enough monthly) without any handling charges they shouldn't. I had to purchase the PLUS combo since I use the DJI Mini 4 Pro for work, I would rather have the lighter version or the ability to purchase extra batteries $30 less than the PLUS $95 amount but DJI and the FAA decided not.
I just did this today with my Creo SL. I tried tapping down on my hand like you said. Didn't work. My wife tapped it twice on the computer mouse pad which was soft but sturdy sitting on the desk. Popped right out. I only had one wire to unplug. Mine is the first generation Creo I guess. There is a secondary plug but it wasn't connected to anything. Thanks for the video. It saved me a few dollars but I know how to do it again in about 2-3 years. Great video, Brian!
Hey that's awesome! I think the secondary plug is for the remote buttons you attach to your handlebars that change the mode (eco/sport/turbo). That's something extra you have to buy.
How many watts adaptor your using siR?
Unfortunately I don't know that one.
I see the mirror. Brand and model?
Here you go, check this video out from when I installed it: th-cam.com/video/mrPALJwiK2o/w-d-xo.html
Aluminum?
Yep.
what is the brand and model of your mirror?
I made this video about it a little while back: Stay Safe with the Cat-Eye Rearview Mirror th-cam.com/video/mrPALJwiK2o/w-d-xo.html
Does it work with Apple Pocasts?
I’m pretty sure it will. As long as it’s an app that plays media.
Thx mate! 👍
Happy to help!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
Good video, just dealing with installing the Kuat rack on my wife's Y. What a terrible design for a hitch.
I couldn’t agree more. Thanks for watching!
I can't believe the top manufacturer of the industry is not hiding cables yet from the bike.. 😢
It would be nice...
Congrats to both 🎉🎉
Just some thoughts on this. An E-Bike or electric has a throttle and moves without pedaling. So let’s refer to the other as pedal assist (PA) please. In some locations E-Bikes (EB) are not allowed due to their high speeds. EB’s appear to allow people to believe they can go at high speeds, however risk causing accidents.
