Have you tried using the short milking sleeves? They keep your overalls a lot cleaner.

Great video Will 👍 so many differences from the way we did it 🤔 we washed every cow with warm water and wiped with cloths, then stripped every teat before milking to check for mastitis, then after milking they were teat dipped, nice of your girlfriend to help out by the way she deals with the clusters she's helped out a few times before 🙄💪💪 how do you detect mastitis without stripping🤔

I’ve learnt a lot about cows, I live next door to a farm but obviously don’t get to see everything that goes on.

Good video Will 👍 we had two 14/14 parlours side by side with ACR s and every 6 months we stripped a parlour down and replaced ropes and have to say never seen a plunger take so much effort to get it back in place 😮 hope it works for you 👍

Good video Will 👍 noticed that your silage is quite long when the cows pull it out of the bale and remember you saying that the silage sometimes causes a problem in the slurry 🤔 do you have chopping knives in the baler to chop the grass so that it's a bit shorter 🙄👍

Considering how long the heifers have been out Will and very little goodness in the grass they're looking really well 👌 maybe a lot more work having them inside but on a positive note look how much more fertiliser your gonna have for the grazing and silage ground next year 👍

If you used the telehandler with a bale splitter to retain plastic you'd have feeding done in half the time

Good video the cows seem very keen on the 3rd cut bales our 3rd cut bales are very leafy but the bullocks go mad for it mind you the poor old MF 165 isn't keen on lifting them 🤣

Well Will the bales may be very heavy and very wet 🙄 but the way the cows were munching them up obviously to their taste 👍 has the milk yield been affected by feeding them 🤔👍
