No bro. Both the phones do not support MHL. Vivo 11 pro is USB 2.0. so i doubt it. Samsung stopped supporting MHL long back i think

It will charge but it is very slow. It should be sufficient to maintain the battery power whatever at the of connection. As far as i know , phones will not support fast charging in OTG mode.

50 degrees C during idle or operation? Ensure it does not go beyond 70 degre during operation. Ideal operating temperature should be between 30 to 50 degrees

Thanks for the feedback. I realised when people say that. Music was used to suppress the background noise. But the music is much more annoying it seems.

To streamline the flow. Without magnets, the arc was randomly hit in the conductor. Placing the magnets controlled that.

I think if u scale the input current up u would get better results it will just be more dangerous

Are you trying with Samsung Magician software? I have seen many forums discussing about the similar issue and its because of software bug.

Yes. Assuming that two magnets in the opposing direction can disrupt the ion flow.

Additional heat sink not required. Even if you add, the heat dissipation has to pass through the cpu cooler only. There is no separate vent for ssd. Factory provided heatsink itself sufficient.

Thanks for your comments. Thats a valuable suggestion. Will try that. For your questions Q1 - yes. Without magnets the flow is not as fast. The flow of air also escapes through the outer shell of the metal tube. Q2. Yes. Thats a ferrite magnet and it's a problem. If the metal tube is in contact with the magnet, now the magnet is also have electrical path and the magnet absorbs few arc and the flow of air was not consistent inside the tube. By having the tape, the flow of air is 100% inside the tube. The magnetic field around the tube streamlines the flow. However we can also achieve it by using magnets only. Thats a separate design. Not tried that yet.

Easiest way is to look into manufacturer data sheet. If this G531GW-AZ014T is your laptop model, then the spec says, it supports PCIe 3.0

Tested with an ambient temperature of 30°C Startup temperature 37°C During 4K video editing and rendering 39°C After 1 hour of usage 42°C While the default SSD came along with the laptop, containing OS was 50°C at the same time

I wanted to try Firecuda 530 and Samsung 990 pro. It is latest and marginally faster than 980 pro by paper and other reviews. I did not change the thermal pad. Just utilised the default one.

It should support 2TB. But i am not sure about the heat dissipation. If the physical size of 2tb is same as 1tb, then it should work.

Hi, Legion 5 supports PCIE 3.0. Choosing a PCIE 4.0 SSD would be a waste of money as it will run in PCIE 3.0 compatibility mode. Better choose PCIE 3.0 SSDs. Max 1 TB

I afraid it will not support PCIE Gen 4. You should consider PCIE Gen 3 SSD

I dont think it will fit. You might need to unscrew the heatsink and use the laptop's default one, as it is connected to cooler fan assembly for heat dissipation.

You mean the standoff screw to fasten the SSD? Ya sometimes the standoff loosens first. In that case, we need to use a nose plier to hold the standoff and unscrew the top screw

@@MADWalker I ttied to install a 2TB firecuda in each one. The one for the OS (on the right) was too thick and the computer wouldn't start (!). The 2TB drivevon the left could run fine, but now I wonder if I shouldn't just install a 1TB 980 pro in each one (my 5i came with 512g)

Normally, motherboard limitations are with RAM and not with SSD. If the size and pcie generation matches, then it should work. Your model is 5i? Or 5i pro?
