Hi :) thank you for the helpful video. Is it possible to travel to in september?
one of my fav places that i found by accident. I’d love to see more neighborhood guides.
😅
継続は力なり🎉を立証している方々ですね。これからも代替わりしながら継続してほしいものです😊
If I went to Yoyogi Park as a tourist and danced to the song, would I get in trouble with the Yoyogi Park rockabilly men? I wonder if there are risks of swearing or stabbing.
No risk of stabbing. They will let you pose for photos with them after they dance. Apparently they ask you don't dance among them because their moves and kicks could accidentally hurt you. But dancing on the sidelines is cool. It takes about 6 months with them to get the treasured jacket, so to dance with them one has to earn it. Hope that helps.
I guarantee that each and every single one of these guys has seen Streets of Fire.

Such a lovely video and guide. I'm tempted to go for the 1/2 marathon that follows the beach line. What do you think the temperatures and weather would be like in mid January?? It would be fun to travel from wintery Tokyo to sub-tropical Okinawa...
Arigato kosai-muscle ❤
I think you guys should label the spots on your videos and put them in the description to make it easier for people watching these videos to plan their itinerary based on your videos.

Are you anyhow related to Ben?
I was in Tokyo two weeks ago and travelled to Yoyogi park to see the "rockabillies". I was disappointed as they didn't show that Sunday because it had been raining. I was really looking forward to seeing this :-(
❤NAGANO🥰
I say this with respect, but this imitation of American culture is strange, wildly inaccurate and reveals a profound misinterpretation. I grew up in the 50s and 60s on the edge of Appalachia where this stuff actually existed. I am more than familiar with it. This is part of the world I grew up in. First, Elvis was actually a very sad character. He was a distressed “Momma’s Boy.” He was weak and rather feminine. I do not say this as an insult. I say it as clinical observation. Personally, I always felt bad for him. He was NOT what these people think he was. He was no rebel, but a boy trying to find the paternal approval he never got - and ended being exploited and took drugs to cope and keep going. He became obese and died sitting on the toilet - from an over-dose. All in all he was a weakling. As for Rockabilly/Greaser/Hood culture, these people were not “cool rebels.” Generally they were of low intelligence, troubled, failures. They were also prone to violence, intolerant and wildly racist - in fact they hated Japanese. I recall a friend - who was not Japanese, but had long black hair and was petite, getting threatened and harassed by greasers while walking down the street because she just looks Japanese from the back. Rockabilly/Greaser/Hoods would have laughed their assess off at this “performance art.” The shoes with the turned up toes are bizarre. Actually they are comical and clown-like in our culture. If someone showed up at the race track in Appalachia or in the Midwest dressed like this, not only would they get laughed at, but they likely would get their assess kicked. In fact they would be taken as Homosexuals. This stuff is not macho, manly or American. Its effeminate, strange and clownish in actual American terms. The idea of "leaders", subleaders etc... is the opposite of what people of this culture would admire. We HATE authority, structure, compliance, submission and all the other things that the Japanese seem to love. It actually disgusts us. What strikes me as an American, is that seeing city people who live in apartments, work in offices and who ride trains to work pretend to be tough greasers is actually sad. How empty of substance does your life have to be that you dedicated it to mimicking this aspect of American culture? Its like seeing little kids here in American pretend to be Nijas. Again, I do not share this out of disrepsect or malice, but to provide some insight from someone who grew up in this culture - in the 50s and 60s on the edge of Appalachia.
カッコいい!

But why this bar is so different to the other muscles bars?
Man, if they only knew that this was never really that cool in the states and certainly isn't anymore. I guess the same probably goes for ricers in America.
I saw these guys just last sunday. I was kinda star struck to be completely honest
Like si tu viens aussi de « Le Japon en noir et blanc » 😅
Looks like a nightmare to me
I did actually spot some new things to add to my Osaka list - thank you!
脱ぐなよ 恥ずかしい
6:04 I wish i knew her name she attracted my attention in the bar you know, thruth to be told i had a wonderful story concerning on her made by Cici Ai, unfortunately the story has been removed by mind in the app. Why? Cos i'm afraid that the message would be full so i made up my mind to Just removed it in the chat directly, i should've save the story on my notepad app, is no use to ponder regreting nor crying over spilled milk about the story. What do you think? The story was about a guy named Mark who date a Japanese girl named Akiko if i'm not mistake, they had a great time spending time together as international couples they facing challenges in their own way. For them, getting a green light not as easy as they look. Very common disagreement in asian countries: Not getting an approval from their parents to date western men except local men who are living in the same country. Are Japanese girls in Japan getting that kind of disaproval as well in Japan? If so, how do they cope with it?🤔 Expesive selling strategy: Fact or slader that Japanese girls sometimes using that strategy to challenge western men commitmen? Expansive selling strategy being used when the sellers desired to make the things that they sell getting higher and higher in terms of price, but also expensive selling strategy being used by any girls in Asia to make sure the men commitment is strong enough for them to continue their relationship upto married life. Do Japanese girls using expensive selling strategy when interacting with western boyfriend just like any asian girls would? The example of expensive selling strategy is when Japanese girls testing their effort or making them put effort to get them, the expensive selling strategy consist of: 1. Making their boyfriend from the west comming to Japan no matter what. 2. Engcourange them to hit the book concerning on Japanese languange and the culture in Japan. 3. Making an excuse when something is happening in their familly in the middle of conversation concerning on the disagreement that i mentioned above. Long story short, i was using those elements in the story and i personally i found japanese girls attitude is challenging to approach espacially if they making me learning Japanese the rocket science languange in the world that i ever known hahaha any thougths on Japanese girls in general? Anyone who are having Japanese girlfriend here? How's your dating experience? Does she using expensive selling trategy towards you? Looking forward to your reply.😂 Note: Is important to note that expensive selling strategy not English idiom but that's indonesian idiom that i translated into English, any thougts on the idiom? Love Japan from Indonesia.❤🇯🇵
