Through the restoration of this exquisite house and gardens just north of Philadelphia, we aim to connect the past with the present, bringing the original architectural brilliance of this historic property an...
Hello
The lady of the nation is alive this is beautiful I am trying to get to the airport legal letters were given they've taken it I'm under a control it is hello
I can't wait to see it all done! For sure going to make a trip to see it!
Hard to comprehend how it went to moths and cobwebs
I wonder what the original cost was when built? Not by today's dollars, but original dollars and its value then.
Obsessed with the ballroom 😍
So happy that it didn’t end up in a stupid developer’s hand and now it will be preserved, open for the public and education. 🤗😍
Outstanding.
It was
Old money to no money... Kind of like the Titanic of its day.
Would love to get a private tour f this place for a video. Wonder how much it would cost to get a tour?
Check their website. They are currently offering hard hat tours. Very costly, but a great cause.
This project looks so AMAZING. I wish I could be a part of it. Next best thing will be to visit.
So eloquently narrated. Read an article which piqued my interest. May its history live on.
wonder how many babies were eaten there
I have driven by this beauty for at least 20 years and was always saddened by the neglect. To know now that it might reach its fullest potential is heartwarming. I have been to Spain Italy & France and can easily state that this property, if preserved to its fullest potential, will be an international draw and success story. I can't wait to possibly see it in its glory, but more so, add it to my memory bank.
scam.....?
Seems legit.
so beautiful, maybe this will be the only reason I will tour America
Beautiful but that GREEN RUG, eeeeks, yuk lol
This is amazing!
I just came across this video. And I'm pleasantly surprised, but skeptical. Because so many projects like this have fallen apart because of finances and management. I really hope this is fully vetted and this massive project will get world class artists, stone masons ,preservationists to work on this. I came across Lynwood Hall over 10years ago from a video an urban explorer. I was entranced and floored by this property. And I could only dream of someone saving this building from its inevitable decay. It was incredibly sad and I hoped someone out there would somehow save it. I fantasized of saving it myself. As I love the Edwardian era and it's architecture. Craftsmanship like this needs to be saved. There is a similar mansion here in New Jersey, called Arlington Mansion, in Mahwah ,N.J It was restored just a few years back , for what is said to be $40 million. It is magnificent. I hope that no matter how many years it takes that the public will be able to enjoy and care about preservation. We need to stop destroying homes and historic buildings. It is our country's history! Who ever set up this foundation ,thank you, I will check out your website and fully support this project!
This is a wonderful project! I saw this mansion on an urban explorer channel and fell in love, even in the state it is in! I wish you the best and hope to see it in person one day!
Τό αριστούργημα
Yayyyyyy! I want to volunteer!
It's insane people can spend millions on a place and just let it go like it's some shack. The money put into a place like this could have lifted hundreds out of poverty. But also I love things like this being saved so that it doesn't go to waste
Good luck with this very important restoration you are attempting. I sincerely hope ot works. This place should not be sitting here rotting over time
ganda nito..
??
Rooting for this project. Hello from Boston. I will donate as soon as I can!
It would be great if we could get video updates on the restoration in progress
That place was so abused. It will cost an absolute fortune to restore it. I say let it go now.
Can't wait to visit with my family!
A lot of work in front of you !!!
I was worried it was never going to happen.
What a beautiful house….
Who’s funding this??? The Koreans who own it??
My great grandfather worked at Lynnewood Hall circa 1917 as a "Horseman".🙂
Wow! Cool ❤
That’s so cool!
Oh!!. Awesome!. If you know of any stories, you should write them down in the comments!!. We all would luv to hear!.
Good luck 🏗🏗🏛
it is a gorgeous house but it is in the middle of nowhere
Crazy to imagine this property was once sitting on 350 acres!
Outstanding so proud of ll of you
I am so glad to learn of this foundation. I have feared for years the mansion would fall into ruins.
Subscribed. Hope to see it restored before 2030.
I can't wait to see what your plans for the gardens are!
A few years ago it was only the Urbex kids who were fascinated with this place. It's such a surprise the old pile is being restored. I wonder if they could ever get the dining room and tapestry? room with the Louis XIV paneling back? They could be in that area?
All sold at auction
@@FrancesOlson-rh9kg- I know it was sold off when the second owner - the god and country guy - had it. It would be helpful to the restoration team to be able to at least track them down and refer to the originals. But, I suppose, unless they learn how to carve expertly it won't do them much good? I think the first floor rooms are the only rooms with very expensive materials. Most of the second floor rooms seemed to be molded plaster. I don't think most of the bedrooms or corridors have wood panelled walls.
What good news! ❤❤
Really rooting for the project. Been following this property for 10 years…
HOW I WISH I had a time machine and could go 20 years into the future to see yes, this standalone masterpiece would be completely restored!! What an absolutely mind boggling dream that would be‼️❤️
My name is Beauregard Quillen and I would like to purchase this home with the help of Dan Pena in the next 3 to 5 years.
Good luck!!! I grew up on Stotesbury Rd in the 1970s and watched the decline and destruction of Whitemarsh Hall. I wish someone had saved that mansion. I'm glad you were able to purchase it and wish you much success on the restoration and resurrection to come.
Any more you could share about White Marsh Hall? I'd be very interested in hearing your memories A friend is connected to the family. I'm always trying to persuade him to go back and dig up the bowling alley, which I understand was covered over intact, lol
It was such a shame that Whitemarsh was demolished. It could have been a national landmark.
I agree! But for some reason, Stotesbury didn't seem to care about what happened to it after he died. @@ferraridan4883
