I have one of these and it works great with one exception. The needle drops just a bit too forward and cuts off the beginning of the song. How do you adjust this?

Ronnie, I literally have one of these in the basement of my business, couldn't figure out it's errors, so I looked of Rowe AMI CD Jukebox. And found this video based off thumbnail. Then as soon as i heard your voice it all clicked in and I saw you started up a jukebox channel. I think it's awesome that your and Joe are such a great resource for fixing all this cool stuff because I can now recommend y'all for just about anything! Thanks for doing everything you do; and I am so thankful I get to learn from you wise people. :)

I'm 55... grew up in the Louisville Kentucky area... those style jukeboxs replaced the 45 singles players... "push C14..." digital jukeboxs have been standard now for what, 2 decades? Sounds great on my phone... so no doubts the speakers in that machine are A+... oh, I subscribed and liked...

Distinctly sure I annoyed the neighborhood playing this and a LedZepplin tape in a loop on a silver 2 tape boom box in a 2 tape loop one summer playing basket ball in the driveway with a dept store basketball hoop lag bolted to the 2 car "barn" at my high school home late 80s... I had hair back then. funny story but true.

I believe that the board with the caps and coils on it is a crossover network that blocks certain frequency ranges from the various speakers in the unit. Awesome video as always, Ron.

Rock-ola 498 with an system 3 control unit The initializing led stay on along with standard price led and never turn on the run which should go low threw Q6 The micro has clock and proper supply voltage. Did check the battery and was bad but didn't leak. I do have the complete Service Manual that came with the unit. I'm looking for some advice

18:48 you bypassed the passive high pass capacitor for the tweeter, never known those as going bad but there's a first for everything :-)

I have a 1964 Princess Royal that has a visible mechanism where you can see the record playing. By 1970, the mech was hidden, and for many people, removed a lot of the fun of having a jukebox.

Impedance is the measure of resistance in an ac circuit. This means that if i was to take an inductor and measure it within the dc space, the meter should say "short" but if i measure it within the ac it should give me a reading. The odd thing about it is that dc resistance and Impedance is that we use the same unit for both, but reactance gets thrown into the mix, and you have chaos.

Hey brother i got this same exact box from a guy who owned a backroads bar down here in Arkansas for 100$ i thought it was a steal just cant seem to get any power to the thing nothing turns on any advice you can give me or point me somewhere id appreciate it

Do you ever have problems sourcing replacement light bulbs for these units and if so what do you ? IIRC, the two vertical bulbs are T8/T12 but 28" long, which is tough to find, so I converted mine to 36". Ran into a similar issue with a Rockola 2000X. . .I believe those were 33" long T12's, but not enough room for a 36" so I went the poor man's route and ran LED strips around. Thanks for your videos!

Good sounding machine, I think Wurlitzer had the best sound, but can be wrong. I know Wurlitzer made a 55 T-Bird jukebox, was looking at a sales brochure and saw the T-Bird model... can't remember the price but not cheap !!! Do you know what I'm talking about ?

I have Rock-Ola 467. The gripper arm was giving me a problem. At one point it hung up with the tone arm. Took the gripper arm gears and cam apart and cleaned and put back together. It works fine. The tone arm was out of adjustment. Readjusted it. The problem is the tone arm is sticking now. If I raise it manually and swing it, it seems to move freely. When it drops down all the way it seems to catch causing the arm not to advance. Any suggestions?

I think the cam mechanism you had to reinstall is off by just a tiny bit.
