As a child in the mid 1950's up until the mid 60's I use to sneak into movie theaters. There was a mixed race buddy movie that deeply impressed me. I don't remember the title or the cast. In one scene the two men were handcuffed together. One man laid inside the railroad track while the other lais outside the track with the handcuffs link over the rail. If anyone out there remembers this film please let me know. As a adolescent and then young teenager in the early 60s living up until then in the deep south this movie impressed me deeply. Please advise!

I was lucky enough to meet Mr.Eddie Albert in NYC during the time that he was performing in the stage revival of Kaufman and Hart's play"You Can't Take It With You"..where he was reunited to Eva Gabor.He was a sweet and kindly and talented man..with a genuine optimistic outlook on life.

I was never a fan of Green Acres, but yes, Eddie Albert always made me smile whenever I saw him.

He was also a singer, dancer,and a musician.

Green acres was arguably the most inventive sitcom ever. The characters were wonderfully drawn out. And funny. Who hasn't felt they were sometimes in this surreal world. Eddie Albert, Eva Gabor Gabor and others fit the characters perfectly.

In the biopic of Diana Dors, she was played by two actresses who didn't come CLOSE to doing her justice.
