I got a question, why does graded exercise worsen the patient? Controlling and little by little increasing the amount of exercise should be improving right?

For me it works. Everytime I increase it s hard and I have small crashes, but it worked over the months. But I have to do it without a fixed plan.

I have frequent urination, motion sickness, occasionally insomnia, high heart rate, fatigue. It goes away but when I get sick, everything is reset. It's horrible. I have nowhere to discuss this really because all the long COVID discussion sites are run by weirdos or on bad sites that censor people like Reddit or Twitter. There's a Facebook site that will not accept by request to join, from two different accounts. They won't even talk to me. It must be a scam or something.

Prioritizing the 'fun ones' and sources of Joy is KEY to this, and to happiness and pleasure in Life as a whole! 🥰 Joy is ALWAYS on the top of my 'to do list'! Pacing / balancing activity and rest is part of the natural cycles needed by our body to functional properly. We are all a part of Nature and made up of the same things our natural world is - as nature functions in cycles of night/day, the seasons, the tides etc, so do we! We too NEED to run in balanced cycles like Nature to maintain healthy, or to restore health🥰 Let's toss out society's unhealthy rules about what is 'productive' or 'good', and make our own healthier, balanced rules for living and thriving in the life!!

Yes, I think I truly injured myself by not understanding these concepts for the first year or so. I wish I had this video back in March 2020. (Still dealing with it over 4yrs later, and not showing signs of getting much better. I think maybe because I didn't know this stuff when I first got sick) ❤

I'm sharing this video series with my primary care, nurses, therapist. Sadly they don't know to much of long COVID, some of them already acknowledged it. Others keep pushing me to do more thinking that it's that what it will get me better. Also it's very important that caregivers are informed so they can get validate the real struggle that is to live with long COVID. How unstable, unexpected, and uncertain is, that even we look well we don't feel well.

I caught covid 18 months ago. For the past 12, I have felt terrible. Never felt worse. I don't have the energy to do normal tasks at home as much as I did. Everything seems too hard. And yet I am still able to do my job (I work at a railway station). People just don't understand how debilitating this illness is. Pray you don't catch it!

It has been a struggle to help some in my circle to even believe in Long COVID, much less understand why I can barely walk/be upright. Long COVID PT clinic advised exercise (over a year ago). I haven’t been the same since. It shocks me that there are no professionals, 4 yrs into this pandemic, who will help us understand how to move. Thank you for this video. I will share it with my circle, in hopes they will understand why I struggle to move.

I have the post exertion symptoms worsening, it manifests with 4-5 hours delay after a short walk of 20min, also after a stressful hour of office work, this improves after 12 hours. Also during night time sensation that your throat is swollen or "closed up". Being dealing with this 8 weeks, it's getting better but healing has been slow.
