Keep the engine running do not turn off the engine make sure it is in Park and check overflow. You should have thin stream coming out. Remember to watch trans oil temp, the higher the temp. the more oil will be coming out of the overflow. As you can see on the end of the video there is a lot of oil coming out from the overflow because temperature was close to 113F already. I let it cool down and re checked the overflow. Good Luck!!

It does hold pretty good. Those transmissions are not weak. I tuned the peak torque pretty soft and I also change trans fluid every 10k miles. So far so good. Will do some e85 fuel in the future to squeeze some more power.

Exactly! Type R would be awesome in all wheel drive.

Yes! Check overflow with the car running but please remember you need to be between 95F-113F the best fluid temp is 104F. The higher temperature the more fluid will be leaking as you can see on the video there is a lot of fluid coming out because I was already near to 113F. I let the car cool down and rechecked fluid. You need thin oil stream coming out. Good luck!!

Hello, It should not have any kick or jerk when going in D or R. It is hard to tell without seeing it in person. It might be your Cv axle or engine/trans mount but the car is too new with too little miles to have those issues.

Hi. I did not notice any sounds from the moonroof when I do tight turns. Does yours make some sound?

i drive a 2021 RDX, and I do notice a popping sound occasionally

I have a CPO 2021 RDX A Spec, and yes I also have that infrequent moonroof "popping" sound when going into a curb (like turning into a plaza from main road). It sort of created an unbalance weight of the car and caused the roof to have a pop sound. Kind of like those wood popping sound during expand/contract in a house adjusting to ambiance temperature.

Dragy app showing 5.4 sec but my peak torque is pretty soft. There is a little left on the table with a tune. High 4 sec or low 5 can be done with this setup on 93 octane

@@boostedchrys A stock 2022 RDX runs sub 6 sec, between 5.5 and 5.8, I would think adding 120 BHP and additional torque would shave more than 1 sec 0-60 time no?

@@josecontreras2845 yea stock can make around 6.6s I just did one pull and did 5.4sec but my tune is soft for safety. I can be aggressive on tune and make high 4 sec but like I said I did it for safety. It is a huge difference between the stock one to be honest.

Locate the jack under the transmission pan make sure you put some short peace of 2x4 or any other peace of wood. Make sure it is not under the frame of the car or lower trans mount.

I did the labor and tune myself, but parts were around 4,000$ or little over . Turbo alone was around 2,500$ but it was well worth it.

How much has the mpg changed in the city and highway driving?

@@gavriel4137 Not much change to be honest, on highway got better mpg than when was stock . It all depends how I drive but city with a lot stops and goes is around 17-18mpg, highway if I drive steady 75-80mph it can do up to 25mpg. This is with light throttle driving, also tune can be adjusted for mpg when cruising.

​@@boostedchrys That's good to know. Mine also hover around 17-18 mpg whereas I have running boards and roof rail installed (prob 80-100 lbs added weight), and most driving in local with sport mode all the time.

Make sure you install it into the thread straight. If you are 100% sure it's straight then you can tighten it a little more but be careful not to over tighten it.

@@lirimhas1622 you can damage the thread so be careful. Make sure the nut is perfectly straight when you are installing it. It should go a couple turns with your fingers and then use 17mm.

Around 4.5 quarts will come out. If you are doing filter you will need around 5 quarts but get 6 just in case.

Yes if you are running 38mm wasegate on this turbo or similar size, boost will creep. Please remember to use thicker pipes when you change it to 44mm. Glad I was able to help!!

It had a lot of vibration and it was gone after replacement. I also replaced another mount (engine side)

I have also vibration issues, when car is on " drive" mode and when I stop on traffic lights with engine on and on brakes, so is this the same issue you had?​@@boostedchrys

@@muratyaranov1491 Yes it is possibly that your engine/trans mounts vibrating when you are on drive and standing on lights while holding brake. They usually vibrate less when you put the car on park but still noticeable.

Hello. I purchased Mhi stage 2 turbo with part nr: 49S89-A0000. I also upgraded intake and downpipe and intercooler. I tuned it myself with K-tuner. I will post longer video with the whole setup and all parts that I upgraded hopefully next week. That turbo upgrade is really worth it.

What kind of gains did you see in HP and torque?

@@mcapone1980 On 25.5psi boost it is making 402whp and 350trq. This turbo is good to up to 550hp with e85 but I am on 93 octane so I am limited with fuel.

Got you I have 94 octane here and some gas stations here have that 100 octane racing fuel.

Never had an issue with them and I change 40+ of them in the past 5 years. To starve for fluid transmission would have to be down with oil by at least 3 quarts. You can also buy one from the dealer if you feel more comfortable with but I have never had issues with those.
