If you don't mind a little constructive feedback (sorry), your voice sounds like you're pushing it to be picked up clearly by your microphone (maybe that's just the way you talk normally, and that's totally fine) so it sounds like you're trying to project to be heard over the band/crowd, when you really don't need to. Again my apologies if that's unwanted/unwelcome feedback. I love the HoF2 and the LR Baggs stuff. I've got the Earthquaker Devices Plumes pedal, which is a great tubescreamer type pedal. The paraacoustic DI is great, and I'd consider maybe trying out an additional EQ pedal (e.g. Boss GE-7) which can be used as a boost pedal when you want to take a solo, as you can have your standard EQ from the Baggs, and then boost frequencies (tube screamers tend to have a boosted midrange (human voice range) and pull down a little on the bass and treble, and level by clicking on the GE-7 (I've got a few different EQs, including the Boss EQ-200, on my main guitar pedal board)

Hey Mike, just got my first mandolin on Saturday. I’ve been playing guitar for over a decade, so I’m looking to find songs that I can play on more than one instrument. In 2011, Tommy Shaw released his bluegrass album “The Great Divide”. Is there any way you could do a track or two from that album? So far, you’ve been my favorite person for mandolin videos, and nobody has posted any videos teaching tracks from that album. So, I’m asking you. Can you help me out?

Borrowed a mate's mandolin an hour ago. I play in an 80s/90s covers band and do some REM songs already. Straight onto TH-cam and found you sir. I already know the parts now and that's needed now is practice and more practice. Liked, subscribed and off to check out some of the other videos 🙂
