Sorry you got COVID. Thanks for showing us your order.
Cheers
Good way to save equipment and money
Yes, and it's working a treat at the moment
I’ve had mixed results over the years like that it works with one tank with glass dividers so there’s only one piece of glass.. Making overflows and just dripping the water through with a sump seems to be the safest easiest way. those crystal shrimp in with the guppies are freaking me out!! poor baby crystal shrimp. 😂😂
Yes I will have to monitor the baby shrimp it's ok while there's not many guppies but once the guppie colony grows then that's when I may have trouble
Nice one mate keep us updated!
Will do
Great looking fish! I'm not familiar with the Ivory color.
Yeah I think yes. I've only just started to look into the ivory ones. I have the two colours now. It is a very stunning looking fish
Here's the Second one
Nice mate, great selection of fish and shrimp and a bloody good set up as well. I might have to hit you up for some shrimp at some stage as in Port Pirie
Cheers, thank you very much and you're welcome anytime to check things out
Hi mate hope your well 🖐
Yes mate and I hope the same for you
@@1963pattoyour set up is so good. I'm still in middle of watching now.
yummy
Thanks for the tour
You're welcome!
Oh yeh...noticed you have your baby redcaps outside... no dramas with those mongrel dragonfly monster larvae?
Yes we do have dragon fly larvae it just some thing I have to keep a eye on
Hi ya jeff. Are your coloured shrimp all tropical lil dudes? Would they survive in water as cols as 10 to 12 degrees?😊
Yes they will I have only got heaters with them now so I can put guppies with them
This is what me and my partners carport will look like soon 😂 16 tanks and 3 pods so far
That will be absolutely excellent. I would love to see either videos or pictures
Do you cull fry, or let mother nature handle it?
A bit of both way
Your plants are really looking fantastic right now.
Thank you
great video big thank you
Nice set up 👍
Thanks

Happy Easter!
Nice😊
Very interesting! What about in a normal fish tank setting? Will they lose their colour also?
Not so bad in an aquarium but in white tubs they become washed out
Bloody brilliant set up that filtration system is brilliant she could have double thestock rate with that
Thank you very much and yes it can take a lot more stock. I had a lot more fish years ago. I had a big disaster. If you look back over some of my videos a couple of years ago, there's a couple of videos on all the fish that I lost
Sorry, disregard that comment that I put there. I thought I was answering for a different video lol. Yes bell's set up is fantastic! And no it's not mine lol
@1963patto all good yes it hurts when that happens , yes sometimes it's just out of your control
Hi Jeff, And I hope you and your's had a Happy Easter as well. That's most interesting about keeping them in a black tub. I never knew that. I've had any number of goldfish that always lighten up. Now I know why. I should'a thought of that. Thanks much for the tip!!
I welcome your comment. Thank you and the thing is once your fish has lightened up you can't put it back in a black tub and get it back again. It's normally if they're raised in black tubs, I find that works the best there'll be a lot of experts out there that agree with me and probably a lot the way but everybody to their own my friend
Happy Easter! It's so interesting that they lose color, but I suppose it is for survival.
Nice!
Thank you

Will be interesting to see how it goes, starting to cool down now.
Yes I'm hoping it just keeps them warm enough. Doesn't have to keep them real warm but just over about 16 would be nice
Nice update 👍
Thanks
.
I would put a lot of thought into blocking some of the ease-of-access to the tanks below them.
That's going to be a lot of work, but probably also fun!
I like the building side of the hobby
Looks good where it is. Nice tank
Yes it's a nice tank but it can't stay there
I like your ideas. Ultimately, you should do what you prefer. I like to look at my fish at my house, with the largest viewing panel. If you need more tanks, you probably should move the tanks. Add more lumber. Sounds good. You always make it look good anyway.
Cheers thanks
They also especially love live ones
True
Aww❤
Just looking back at one of your first videos with your Grandson, he was very enthusiastic, several years ago now. Is he still into the fish?
Not so much now but still like to stay here every now and then love doing videos
@@1963pattomy son was interested when he was younger but for the last few years, now in his teens, he doesn't even look at the tanks, couldn't care less and I keep Asian Arowana too. Its very much the individualist hobby.
@@justinstuart8382 true
Will it get to hot for the axolotl outside? In your video you said it was 40 degrees
The waters about 30 he's used of it now
@@1963patto fair enough I feel like that’s really warm for them there cold water amphibians 15-22 is ideal.
@@AusHerps yes true but that's wat the books say but remember they have never seen there real habitat
@@1963patto people have seen there habitat…
@@AusHerps yes but I mean the axalot that we get has never been near South America so they handle a little bit higher temperatures
It's probably what the government is spraying in the air. At least that is what they are doing in USA.
did the temp go down too low overnight?
No temps for fine overnight. I believe it was the stress coat that I used was no good
Well how about oxygen levels nitrite could have sucked the life out of them, or temperature :( since they all died likely same issue for both, maybe an airstone required,
Definitely something from outside like weed spray like you said. What about the sand, was it from a previous set up or new? Maybe something in the sand if it's not from a previous system?
The sand was ok. It come from a creek bed ages ago and I've used it on heaps of setups then on top of that is placed in which I rinsed and then on top of that was pool sand so it should not have been sand
Bells setup is amazing! I absolutely love the boats. I hope we can see more from her.
Yes, it's a great setup and maybe one day we can do a follow-up. She's happy too
Wow that was great
Yes it's a great stup
That's really odd. What a pain. What's in the substrate?
Dried out creek sand which I've used on many of my tanks and tubs. Play sand which I washed out and silicon sand as in pool sand
@@1963patto that's odd. Maybe the change of water PMs even though they were good killed them?
@@justinstuart8382 yes you never know. Bit of a mystery but the only thing I could find was my stress coat was out of date
@@1963patto didn't know had an expiry. Up now doing water changes on my Goldfish. Still can't get my Ammonia down, I'm never relying on just sponge filters ever again ! 🙄
Great video awesome system!!!
Cheers
Oh, that's too bad. I hope you can figure out what happened. (I just saw a dragonfly nymph in a little tank I set up for shrimp. I don't know how I'm gonna get it out! )
I'm pretty sure I know what happened now. The stress code I use was out of date
😢❤ hope it gets sorted for ya. That can be a frustrating experience. Love the setup, though!
I wouldn’t house them species together mate seeing as Shellies are African and if you want to breed them just have 1 type of cichlid. I also recommend if you can getting more racks that way you can tidy it up a bit
Cheers
