for anybody having trouble on the knight make sure you jump attack and mainly use it as it staggers him for a little and you can run away

I use nagakiba on the offhand, way better besides the str requeriment. Also, magic infused can work too instead of cold

You should inflict madness on yourself first, right? "Flame, give me strength!" Last 30 seconds behind think? So I would Golden vow then madness buffs, then FGMS.

Is there anything specifically buffing the madness stuff, like the ash on vike's or the frenzy perfume bottle? Otherwise, would just the regular firespark bottle do more damage in the same build? Just wondering if this is all theme or function. Either way, love the build!

So maddening hand buffs even when its not equipped? Does that stack with more than one on you? I have 3 and wonder if I can put one in three of the slots with my frenzy flame seals

Won work in NG+7 you can't afford to trade hots with enemies wearing that armor or anything that negates DMG mitigation. Any status or multi hit build gets punished hard in NG+6 and up your survivability with that armor is at its lowest even grunt type enemies can nearly one shot you. Goo beginner build tho

Can you use vyke spear by itself if you only have 1 spear

Never tried any madness builds before but this looks pretty cool. Is this good against bosses and or pvp?

That blessed shard drop is the bane of my existence right now... Needed for the golden vow craft; Yet those black knights only have a 4% drop rate for them. Moorith ruins toward the center of the map has a fair number of them to fight, but still a real pain.

Madness has become even stronger with the dlc Frenzied Flame perfume bottle, frenzied flame fist weapon which boosts attack power when madness fully builds up, a frenzied flame torch, a Exultation talisman for madness, a new Incantation, frenzied flame pots, etc

If you choose the Hero starting class you can get the same stat at lvl 148 and you can put the extra 2 points to Faith.

I use the ugi and the nagi katana one holy one occult or change them both for blood if need be and they serve me quite well

I did something like this but fire infused offhand weapon. It's much easier to get a single chilling mist off mid boss and the beauty of fire is it immediately cancels frostbite so it can proc again. Depending on the boss you can pop an iron jar aromatic and facetank enemies to death. I think I tried dual flameberge and scavengers swords for this one and both were pumping out insane damage and or stagger.
