Good work big fella
@@gduncan3739 Thanks, yes it turned out well
You made a good job of that, running really nicely now. I just ordered a plastic mending gun myself, having seen how effective it was for you.
@@paulf2529 Thanks! Honestly that gun was the star of the show. Amazing how strong the repair is, and it can join dissimilar plastics unlike plastic welding.
I really enjoyed watching this, great fun trouble shooting these older machines. I love older diesels in comparison to the modern equipment i have at work with horrible complex electrical systems.
@@paulf2529 Thanks, yeh the modern junk won't be working in 40yrs that's for sure, especially after suffering as much oil starvation as this lister has 🤣
In our old house we had a wood effect gas fire just like the one you've got, we had a cracked glass front but ours was condemned. Changing the boiler is going to be a good job when you get around to to it. 👍
Thanks, yes new glass is on order. Il probably wait until the middle of a cold winter when the boiler completely dies to change it 🤣
Very handy machine we have a Hunter herald heats 12 rads needs a new flap to top of stove damper rotted away

Great job, at least you have a proper cage, i always used to just stand in the bucket!!
@@paulf2529 We've all been there. My dad and I built that cage. Have used it way more than we ever thought we would. I used it to demolish those old chimney stacks, if you notice those ones are newer style brick and have lead trays.
Thanks Steven, ,another enjoyable video (for us anyway).
@@utubota5522 Well I enjoyed getting it done. No smoke when I open the door of stove now 😁
chimneys must be swept every year, judging by what was in your flue, you are very lucky you didn't have a chimney fire, also when you clean a flue/stove, you must wear PPE,
@@cooking23 Yeh I should keep ontop of it really, just one of those things that gets put down the list until it stops working.

Check the age of the tires, probably hard af :) be careful ! But nice to get them running again, bikes like these dont like to sit without being used :)
@@jtaulen I did actually, 2017 so definitely need changing. Yeh bikes in general don't like that, especially if they're left outside.
Good job, tasty pajero there in background 😮
Pretty commonplace in my videos 😅
Nice job, very good use of space. Not only useful for carrying buckets, when you take the family out you can use it for a picnic table. 👍
@@everestyeti Thanks! Yeh I definitely do not regret fitting that one bit!
That's the problem with single axle trailers, once they start going they are difficult to stop. Oh and a digger press, What's up tired with using the JCB press. 10lbs of filler and no one will notice that dent. 🤣😂👍
@@everestyeti The problem here was I forgot it was hooked on, it was dark, and I wasnt looking in that mirror 🤣 Yeh I like to mix it up a little, JCB press here, Digger press there. That's the plan, bucket of filler and some paint, some day.
Bucket dentistry, Cat teath are sharp and probably the best. Having been bitten by mine on more than once I can definitely agree with that. 😂
@@everestyeti Aha I called that "digger dentistry" when i shared it on FB 🤣 Yeh those teeth are nice, bigger than the bolt on ones for sure.
The go cart has been reserected, a bit like Dr Who not the same but different. 😂 I watch a u-tuber from Estonia called Ants Pants, when I saw those rocks I immediately thought about him, he's currently building loads of rock walls by hand. Shame the go kart couldn't be resurrected, but I suppose thats just as well as I don't think, even if straightened that chasis would have been safe. 👍

Nice vehicle, I was looking at buying one a couple of years ago as I like Mitsubishi's, unfortunately it was an inch too tall for my wife to get into so we went for a Yeti instead. Like your spring depression tool, T cut will get those marks off, I know because the same has happened to me. 🤬👍
@@everestyeti Yeh I think I have a liking to Mitsubishi's myself, my friend has just got a lovely MK1 project. Ah now a yeti would be a fine machine aswell. Yeh a buff will take that out no problem, it really needs a proper paint correction but that's a job for another day 😅

@@robrmmechanical1231 Hi. I can't remember exactly but I think around the 8 bar mark wouldn't be far away. You want the front to get cherry red but not so hot that it will start to distort the metal

@@deanwelsh5702 Hahaha 🤣 Cheers! Plenty more to come if you're into that sort of thing!
At 19.35 min he says: "Anyone's still splitting wood with an axe needs their head examined!" NOW JUST LOOK AT THIS BIG HEADED, ARROGANT GUY ! 1) Not anyone can afford a log splitter. 2) Not anyone wants to waste fuel for splitting wood after already having used a combustion engine driven chainsaw. 3) Not anyone wants to be surrounded by stinking exhaust gases after already having used a stinking chainsaw. 4) Not anyone wants to have even more loud engine noise after already having had a lot of noise while working with a chainsaw. 5) Some see making firewood as a welcome distraction and/or even a good exercise. 6) Standing upright and splitting those big wooden discs with a wedge and a common 2 kg lump hammer is quite easy, fast and enjoyable. I even do this with 1 m long upright standing log pieces. Just like cutting a cake into pieces but using wedges instead of a knife. Afterwards I cut the splitted 1 m sections with my quiet, light and nevertheless strong 230 V electric chainsaw, a rocking circular saw or sometimes even by hand with my 90 cm long bow saw/hacksaw. It seems that I simply have more power than this guy, although I'm 61 years old!? 😁 ;-)
@@Chr.U.Cas1622 I've split plenty with an axe, and that splitter is by far the easier option.
@Steven_R_Taylor Obviously you haven't read my comment! Because if you had, you could've realised that I don't use an axe and I don't recommend to use an axe!!! If any I use a splitting mallet but only to assist if absolutely neccassary. Best regards, luck, health and wisdom.
@@Chr.U.Cas1622 I can see you are very passionate about splitting by hand, which is commendable. Afew things to note, I rented that for about £60 a day, fuel less than £10. Most of that wood was seriously knotty so would have been almost impossible to split by hand in any kind of decent time frame. I split the same amount afew years back by hand and it took lots of time and energy. I don't have lots of free time on my hands so I decided £70 and a day to split up years worth of firewood was worth the investment. Working quickly and efficiently is always something I try to do, time is money, thanks for watching, and it doesn't matter how you get there but we can all agree burning the logs in your fire or stove is the best bit!
@Steven_R_Taylor Okay, Sir, I see your point too. 2) Please nevertheless kindly allow me to suggest some things that might be better for you, your purse and the environment: Next time maybe try out or buy an electric hydraulic log splitter (no gasoline/petrol exhaust gases, no ear protection needed!). If possible try/buy one that works in both ways (splits one log and when going backwards, splits another). Buy or fabricate a kind of X- addition respectively splitting cross to put on the splitting wedge. With that you will be able to save a ton of time because not every piece of wood needs to be handled so often. Throw or let fall the splitted pieces into a wheelbarrow instead of a bag/bucket that has to be lifted from the ground. Or at least put the bag(s)/bucket(s) in a wheelbarrow. Please make absolutely sure that the log splitter sits high enough so that you don't have to bend over, not even a bit. Because that's what wears you out and damages your back in the long run. Please don't ask me why I know = I'm always good as a bad example. 🙈 Thanks for your attention. Sincerely yours.
@@Chr.U.Cas1622 Yeh I agree with that, but the pile I was making was handier just throw up by hand, a narrow would have been no use. Oh I know a cross head would have saved alot of time but Im not doing this every day, if I was I would have designed and built my own Ultra processing machine 🤣 I just wanted to get it done as quick as possible. They had been winking at me for years every time I was in that field 🤣
What an absolutely stupid person you are, You never use starting agents on Petter engines, These are High compression diesels. Your doing more damage to the engine then good doing what you did to it, These engines suffer from stuck injectors and Clearly you have no idea about them in the slightest, Okay fine you want a challenge but do your research before doing totally stupid things to the equipment and causing more damage then good, I can not remember the number of Lister and Petter engines I have seen over the years damaged by these methods. And the fact that you state she will burn a bit of water when bleeding the fuel pumps is absolutely ludicrous, These engines will NOT burn water and just make the beyond difficult to start once there's water in the fuel.
