This guy was an idiot interviewer. If he ever saw the video for It’s My Life he would have remembered it. I remember when I was in my 20’s when it came out I thought it was brilliant and different form other run of the mill videos playing back then. Of course there were other awesome vids, Take On Me was another great unforgetable video. I’m so happy that these videos are here on you tube to see any time I want. Mark Hollis was a very soft spoken intelligent man. I miss him. R. I. P.

This was the peak of the music industry.

I know what he’s saying - I’ve been doing this for years: recording into Ableton you can go on recording a take for hours, then I go back in & pick a spot and start layering on it, then extract that. It can result in some wild music. One of them I’m working on is like a cross between Bowie’s Scary Monsters, Duran Duran, and 1960s jungle warfare. It gives you stuff that doesn’t sound familiar at all, yet it’s cohesive. I think this is what he was doing.

Before Mark Hollis became ill and sadly died in 2019. I wish he agreed to announce a small tour. A few nights in London, Manchester and Berlin. It would sell out quick. It would be the live attraction of the century , unfortunately Mark chose to disappear from the face of the earth he retired and vanished until his death .

Why do people always say Talk Talk were 'underrated'? That's rubbish. People who listen to the band's records don't underrate them at all and do fully appreciate how good they were.

Magical. Mark’s voice is world class. Webb is my vote for world’s most underrated bass player. His bass lines are phenomenal. If you get pulled in by this band they really become the girst thing you reach for when you feel the need to get lost in music for a while.

I wished I saw them in Toronto.😢. Mark was a genius and very private. He didn't get sucked into the game. Total respect to this talent. Pancreatic cancer took him so young.(Same as my sister who passed at 59)

One of the best vocalists and writers that blest us with such amazing music, that voice was so bloody amazing, rip Mark, you were a genius greatly missed by millions ❤
