This is a step-by-step instruction on how to bag a 1954 Ford Crestline Sunliner. it’s a general video that does not have a lot of details but it gives you the basic rundown on how to build brackets, how to measure and how to install a four link. If you have any questions about anything in the video, send me a message and I will help out best I can.

If you drive it low on the road, you'll probably get less wind resistance and better fuel mileage.
Your professionals and know more that I could problably ever learn however I would have saved the handles...like your work appreciated...
Where's the optimum place to put the pusher? More toward the back edge of the door?
That spring thing seems very intrusive and looks like hell to boot. I'd think something mounted in the front fender where one of the hinges would compress 'just a bit' when you shut the door. What comes to mind first is a block of used tire, some 1" x 2" then what ever thickness is necessary. Shim this piece of tire to the correct thickness with maybe plywood and or a few pieces of sheet metal. The shim stock would be placed between the tire material and the inner sheet metal. 😎
Absolutely great simplified information...this will be my go to video when I get to this, thank you!
is there anyone in new england that can help me with my shaved door handles?
Nice vid. Im going to try the SS7 but with 1/2" SMC valves.
wow hack cant say no more
Nice, got a 1966 display van.
Looks good ! Did the front end up with IFS ?
wow terrible welding no fab skills does not look like a journeyman in the crowd
This is such an amnateur prexentation as it does not address the fundamentals for example shock absorbers, etc !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where did you pick up the sew foam from?
Sailrite or amazon or wawak or keystone will have 1/4 i ch sew foam
Nevermind I just scrolled through the comments and found it LoL, thanks a bunch, how's the car coming along?
What kit is it that you install (4 link)? I have a 54 Mainline myself that I'm working on
Does the steering linkage change the toe of the car when the car is raised or lowered? Do you need to drive at a particular ride height?
You converted the car over to 12v then?
new sub !! thank you ! i got a few sgoeboxes, this will come handt!!! grate video, grate video
Yo dude! You have 3 choices! Longer shirt, taller pants, or come do my plumbing
Great video …… straight to the point , nice work
This is brilliant ..im bagging my 55 coupe de ville superb thanks Brian..im in England 🇬🇧

@@brianfordham2621 hi Brian yeah I just got a couple of things to do but its all on all working just got to mount the front shockers will do a video of it all working .... had to modify exhausts but I have done it so it drives fully aired out ..
nice instruction - thanks !
Gracias por la información y gran aporte 👍
Perfect ! low hight , the lay frame ..looks like a broken car . very good detail
What about the shocks? do you usually run with no shocks whatsoever?
Great video… i just ordered for my 54 merc.
What set up bro
What set up man
I came here because you said you were making it from scratch and then you had a door panel to trace. Will keep looking for a better video.
You can make a template out of card stock or any stiff material that you can cut with a scissors; it's not that hard. You have to make a pattern to make anything from scratch. He could have made his own pattern, but didn't have to since the spare door had a good panel to use as the pattern. His video is just fine for what needs to be done.
Thanks for this , im starting to bag my 51 Victoria using a similar kit. Very thoughtful to put this vid out for those of us choosing to do our own work. Great job.
Heck yeah I'm getting ready to bag my 51 shoe box as well.

From what I was told this is a no no in the hydraulic community...!
Hi, I too have a 1954 ford its supply owe to be a Crestline but I really think it a customline. So I need to find the extra trim that makes it a Crestline ,A pillar chrome 3 hassh lines that are next to the gravel gard, and chrome strips on dr. Panels and warm rear with ash trays vic. Style.
How
Sounds like you got a flat tyre bro
Damm three wheelin on air now that's nice gotta give you props for that real talk
Bags are for groceries gee
Hydraulics are for garbage trucks
Even this this will get hate I agree., you could add accumulators if you want a nice ride with hydraulics. To each their own but 3 wheeling or hopping is best done with hydraulics not bags. But your car your money do what ya like
@@juanchavez7274 no hate homie.
I have a 66 impala SS I was wondering if I could do the door panels myself
the way you just stepped in
Great video but how did you attach the vinyl to the plastic
Bags are for groceries 🤣 plain and simple
You have any parts remaining from that hard top? also when you bagged the convertible did you have to tunnel for the shaft? im building a hard top right now
A guy I went to school with had one of these, in 1975, it was so cool called it "night stalker" had graveyard scene on the side with a ghost hoovering over some tumb stones and full moon in back ground carpet and bed and bar inside with mirrors and kickass super tuner stereo. Had 2x12 wooden bumpers cut down and varnished and this was before the big companies where doing it. It was Awesome boy I wanted it or one just like it. He wound up trading it for a 1923 T bucket, big mistake, he regretted it afterwards!🙂

Thank you for this simple explanation. I just got a Gambino Kustoms kit for the 4 link, but trying to make sense of what else is involved. This really helped.
I’m glad I could help let me know if you need anything.

Here’s the link to the different colors of marine vinyl that you can buy at Joanne‘s fabrics and there is always a coupon available. www.joann.com/marine-vinyl/12214052.html
Do you have a link to the "sew foam"?
Here’s where I bought the 1/8 inch PVC to build the backing for the new door panels. www.piedmontplastics.com/?gclid=Cj0KCQjw3IqSBhCoARIsAMBkTb1OGGVn_6U2dcBatGa4EPmV_R1HoMg-V26BXB-WpJKo46VsRbUbhLcaAlofEALw_wcB
Isn't 1/8" a little thin and flexible for this?
I'm building a 56 vic I wanted to get a wider tire on the rear is this the best set up for a 8 inch or 10 in tire
I would think an 8 inch tire would fit under there pretty easy and probably with the right back spacing you could get a 10 inch tire but I chose skinny tires on this build so I don’t think I’d be able to help you out.
I appreciate all the info brotha, can't wait to bag my Jalopy
If you need anything else please don’t hesitate.
