APM 3.4.3 throttle issue
มุมมอง 1.3K8 ปีที่แล้ว
APM 3.4.3 running on Pixhawk is giving full PWM values on the throttle at 50% stick input with no further increase thereafter. At first I thought this was an ESC calibration issue, but with each motor plugged directly into CH3 of the RX I get the full PWM range across the full stick range. Endpoints are set on the Taranis so all inputs go from 1000-2000. This is checked in MP with the throttle ...
Scorpions on the Isle of Sheppey, Kent
มุมมอง 6K8 ปีที่แล้ว
A colony of European yellow-tailed scorpions has been living on the Isle of Sheppey, Kent, since they first arrived on merchant ships in the 18th century. While not native to the UK, they have nevertheless been thriving in the nooks and cracks of Sheerness Dockyard wall, feeding on spiders and woodlice. Music: www.purple-planet.com

I would love to take a peek at the spreadsheet you used to figure all of the proportions!
Great little video thanks for making it.
Where can I download the file?
Thanks for your video and answer mine too is performing like this now I will give it a test flight...
This perpetuates a premature Roman dominance possibly. What were the results of the metallurgy test? Bronze is arsenical or requires tin, unfortunately little information was presented 👎
Hey! please tell me how to change the texture of the part that you added. it is now part of that big detail, but it is smooth and you can see that it is different. how to make it look rough
Hi, I respect the work you have done. but it is ashamed what the owner of a vehicle pays for a team called B&O, HARMAN KARDON, BURMESTER etc etc. Watching that toy speaker, no matter how good it sounds. I prefer to take it to a car audio installer
Just clarifying a few things for the thread. The speakers are made by Faitel, B&O just do the sound processing and tuning for the cabin. As for aftermarket rings all you need is a Basser Pro 8" adaptor ring, or 6.5". Worthy replacement speakers for stock amp are the Audison Ap8 or any lowish RMS \ high sensitivity 6.5" component with high sensitivity. 90db+ and 100-140RMS rating. Treating the door with dynamat is also well worth it while you have access.
What size are front and rear speakers? 6.5?
Hi there is a crackling noise on low volume on mine on music its fine but I could here the crackling on the radio when listening and during Bluetooth phone calls what could it be
That could be your Bluetooth connection. I had that problem. All I did was disconnect and reconnect the Bluetooth to test it.
Could be your speaker foam damaged. Had to use some gasket maker RTV to fix my tears until I upgrade my speakers.
Amazed how much audi charge for this so called system upgrade. These speakers are really basic
go focal 🙂
is the B&O sound better in the door speaker? please explain ? i have the normal doorspeaker and the bass is wonderfull so ?
Ezito improved I know what you’re saying, I love fat bass too. Audi are top end vehicles and they don’t cut corners on anything so even their low end ICE sound great. The Audi B&O system though has the most amazingly clear sound reproduction I’ve ever heard in a car and is up there with anything B&O make for the home. You also get the deepest bass thanks to the built in subwoofer under the floor of the boot/trunk. The door speakers are low mid and drive most of the sound, but there are 19 speakers in total placed around the interior that are aurally tuned to give perfect sound reproduction wherever you sit inside. It is incredible!
I have a rattling sound from my door speaker and I don’t think the speaker is blown, is it possible to just remove the speaker grill and have a look at the speaker without removing the whole door panel?
Omer Mohiuddin Hi, the speaker grille on mine was a moulded part of the door panel so couldn’t be removed separately.
l3db6h do you have an A4? Because I have a 2014 Q5 and wasn’t able to find any videos on it and this was the closest to it
Omer Mohiuddin Yeah, 2010 A4 Avant. The door card isn’t that bad a job to remove tbh. The worst part is it sounds like it’s breaking when it pops off the clips holding it in but it’s fine.
this is a B&O speaker??? it is made of paper and he has no magnet...
Michał K Maybe B&O use field coil speakers in new Audis, I don’t know, but in 2010 they were definitely using magnets.
It's by a OEM manufacturer named Faital. They've been around for decades. Def not a B and I spoke.
Hello ! I have the same problem, from where can i buy one speaker, but to be sure this will fixt with my old one ? Thanks for video !!!
Thanks Audi!!!, for not making the speaker grill removable for fixes and upgrades. I know that would have been pretty hard to add some clips to the back of it. Edit: Actually they do come off, and for no reason at all, speaker doesn't fit threw hole.
So they do come off ? I have an Audi Q5 2014 with B&O sound system and the rear door speaker rattles and it sounds like some clips broke but I’m scared to try to pull off the grill as it seems intact with the door. Any help?
You were able to take the grill off?? I’ve been wondering this for months, do they just snap off?
@@V4vendetta94 Yea, plastic clips, but there is no reason, since they don't fit threw the holes, and you cant get to anything.
Same problem with the Pixhawk 2.4.8 flight board.
This behaviour had me confused for ages but believe it or not the PIxhawk is performing normally. More specifically, Arducopter is doing everything it’s meant to do. It’s all about the PID feedback loop and the software stepping in to correct what it thinks is happening. When it receives a throttle command it expects movement (lift) that needs some corrective input from it, but with the props off this movement doesn’t happen so it adds more throttle to try and make something happen. Still no reaction so it adds more throttle. And on and on and on until it’s at full throttle. When I put the props on and took it outside for a test flight it worked perfectly.
Thanks for the video man, gotta do this repair soon. Found out about a month ago that the front passenger speaker was completely dead and had no sound coming out of it. It's probably been that way for a while, but only bothered to check because the speaker on my driver's side has started to sound weak and like a static type of sound like your bad speaker was doing as well.
Glad the video helped. I lived with the blown speaker for about a year before I got around to fixing it. Weird thing was it fixed itself for a couple of months then it went back to being all crackly.
@@l3db6h17 exactly what mine is doing now hence finding this video. Will be perfect for a week next week - shit again
That was very helpful, I have to do the same but I’ve had trouble finding a replacement speaker
Maybe I was lucky but I found a replacement on eBay straight away.
Hi, thanks for this video. I will have to do the same repair and I have a question: would it be possible to remove the grille from the door panel and get to the speaker that way?
widget_psz Hi, I’m glad you found the video useful! It’s a really easy job but unfortunately the whole door card does need to come off as it’s all one moulded piece of plastic. Good luck!
alguma configuração especial ?
Good for them ☺
I had heard of the Ongar scorpions, but not the Isle of Sheppey ones!
I only heard of the scorpions at Ongar whilst looking for information about the Sheppey ones. They are pretty amazing when you find one and I was surprised to find any at all in December when this was filmed.
Hi having same problem on a apm 2.6 board any luck fixing it
No luck, I'm afraid. Have you seen the discussion here? discuss.ardupilot.org/t/pixhawk-2-4-8-clone-and-problems-with-copter-firmware-above-3-2-1/13957/10 My last hope is to flash BLHeli to remove SimonK out of the equation, but after that, I'm out of ideas. Not had chance to do this yet, but will hopefully this week.

I got kind of the same problem with you just in the oposite way.. after arm (even i calibrated it twice) it wont give throttle until i reach 50%..an the weird part is that it did it suddendly yesterday was working fine, i got also the 1 sec frequent beeps..if you find any answer inform me as i will inform you :)
Just ficed mine.. i just recalibrated accelerometer and magnometer and now it is ok again.. hope this fixes yours too
I'm glad to hear you fixed yours. I've recalibrated the accel and mag several times and uploaded plane firmware and then copter firmware to wipe the board and nothing has worked. I've put on a new PDB too and that hasn't worked either.
Have you fixed the problem? I got this issue now :/
It turned out not to be a fault but normal PID loop behaviour for the Pixhawk. Because I'm sending instructions to the Pixhawk, it expects to see data from its sensors to say it's moving that it can then correct to keep itself level and stable. Because there is no feedback to my inputs, you get this weird behaviour. Shortly after this I took it out and flew it without any problems.
@@l3db6h17 have you fixes this prb ? I'm facing the seam issue :(
just to let you know 3.3.3 is not good as well, there is no throttle problem but right stick has some issues as well making crash on ground test, this is new pixhawk ? 2.4.8 from ebay ? I have two pixhawks both same exactly units, same problem with both :(
Hi, is there by any chance pixhawk marked as v 2.4.8 ? I have very similar issues recently with my pixhawk and all above 3.2.1, all good with firmware 3.2.1 or lower have a look at my post under this link: discuss.ardupilot.org/t/pixhawk-2-4-8-clone-and-problems-with-copter-firmware-above-3-2-1/13957/11 please let me know if you find some solutions, I think in the first step when you getting the RGB light blinking you should restart the board again with stick up and after restart safety switch ... few sec and throttle down but it won't make any difference at the final stage anyway. thanks for posting, there is two of us now, there is some hope again :)
LOL ! zmr250 did his job ;-)
hey can u plz tell me what software to create this? I am looking to do something similar, thanks!@l3db6h
