280g sugar
80g butter
240ml milk
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
Chocolate glaze:
300g icing sugar
2 Tbs cocoa powder
1 Tbs butter
1/3 cup milk
1/3 boiling water
vanilla glaze:
300g icing sugar
1 Tbs butter
1/3 cup milk
1/3 boiling water
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
*for biscoff, add 1-2 heaped tablespoons of biscoff spread to glaze
Jelly cake:
1 pkt jelly
200ml boiling water
Coatings:
desiccated coconut, 100s 1000s/sprinkles (3 pkts/ cake batch), crushed biscoff biscuits,

I’ve been hearing from a lot of different videos that if you don’t put the cover on or just saran wrap over the top of your container when you freeze it, you won’t get the dome.
Don’t know why, but it drives me nuts when people use regular silverware rather than measuring spoons for their ingredients!

Selena are you using pure icing sugar or icing sugar mixture?
I think I’ve currently got icing mixture- they are interchangeable though so doesn’t matter which one is used.
They look delicious, Selena! BTW the cake recipe needs the milk amount added.

Thanks so much for watching. Townsville and SE Qld have slightly different growing conditions/climates so hopefully what works for me will also work for you. A lot of the flowers are just me sprinkling seeds on the garden and allowing them to take over- I feed my beds with dynamic lifter before the season but other than that the constant humidity, heat and rain has made my garden this way (this season). I will make another garden video soon 😊
Have a look at Annette Mcfarlane's online seasonal growing guide. The 1300km difference between you and Selena might make a difference in what you can grow and when. But good luck, I used to live in Townsville, I found it a lovely place to live in.

Leftovers can happen for all sorts of reasons-sometimes it's just about having extra for the next day, not necessarily because the meal was too large. It’s always nice to have options! This video was to help people who find themselves with leftovers.

I make a nice herb and pumpkin risotto and with the left over I add feta and cumb the patties. I can't decide if the original or the leftovers is the best. Both are so good. But I can only do that because the first recipe feeds four and we are two.
So, what is your financial goal? To be able to buy more dahlias? Lots more?

My Mom used to grow all kinds of beautiful flowers including Zinnias and she also planted Marigolds in her vegetable garden to help keep bugs out of the garden. We plant Salvias here in the Texas Hill Country for the bees and hummingbirds.
Maybe try a fertilizer with fish in it. It helped many gardens here across the USA ! ❤❤😊
Australia has one called Charlie carp - made in my home town
Could I suggest salvias? They come in all shade of pinks, red, and purple and blue. Birds and bees love them. Stevia is a salvia too. Your garden is lovely. I usually give up for summer but with the La Nina approaching I'm hoping for some luck with leafy vegetables. The chooks can have the grasshoppers.
