DuckTales The Movie (1990) Theatrical Trailer
Previously unreleased, this theatrical trailer provides a rare glimpse into the preview witnessed by moviegoers in 1990. Aside from some subtle differences between the trailer and the completed film, the most jarring distinction is the vocal tone of the villain Merlock. It is unclear if Christopher Lloyd's voice was distorted, or another actor was originally assigned to play the role.

King Crimson Live At The Marquee (1969) - "21st Century Schizoid Man"
มุมมอง 115K6 ปีที่แล้ว
Inspired by one of the first bootleg recordings of the band, the audio is rumored to be from the July 6, 1969 performance at the Marquee Club in London, England, the day after their breakthrough concert in Hyde Park. This line up was my first concert. I wound up with a bunch of people older than I was. That’s happened a lot in my life. By the time I’d just turned 11 in 1972 I wound up in Puerto Rico seeing a festival. My mom I believe was dating a man from ther? We never talked really about any. I didn’t mind as I had a fantastic time. ELP was there. Alice Cooper was still on the Killer tour. Allman Brothers. Sadly had just lost Duane. But still put on a great show. Alls I’ve found from it was wasting time no more. John McLaughlin blew the place up. With Jerry Goodman,Electric Violin. Rick Laird Bass. Jan Hammer Keys. And Billy Cobham,Drums. I was a young drummer then so what a treat these bands were. I eventually got a guitar cause I love the instrument so much. Still love the drums and bass as well. Thanks for the post. It like the band is amazing. The Filmore west version rocks as well!
Well done!

ROBERT FRIP ITS DE BEST AN D GOOD
Lake era best era
Why does Merlock ound wrong? Is this the ___Australian___ version or something?
Holy smokes… Could you imagine if Merlock sounded like that in the final movie? Maybe only when he got mad… Not sure his casual dialogue would work *_if he sounded like this all the time._*
The C R U N C H
Judging by how Merlock sounds different in this trailer, it must’ve been made before Christopher Lloyd was casted or maybe they wanted to keep his role a secret until the moviegoers went to see it
1969 King Crimson packed a hell of a punch and hit an entire unprepared world with a giant wall of sound like no other band. The best thing about it, they were just getting warmed up
Well done !! Thanks for both the audio and the visual content !!
I love this
Awful …. BUT APPSELUTELY GRRRRRRRREAT! (Even better than on the Earthbound album). PS. i picked up an album in Ufa, Baskortostan, moscovia many years ago - Live In Plymoth 1971. It sounds pretty OK.
oh yeah, brill animation
I can categorically state that I was there when this bootleg tape was being sold in the 80s.

The entire crowd had an existential crisis after hearing that.
For me, this is cinema
For me (I never saw them) this was 1970 dorm room pot brownie immersion material, along with Pink Floyd. We woulld have flipped at this animation!
this is the closest thing to seeing king crimson live
This has to be the hardest version of 21st Century Schizoid Man i've heard

This is amazing!!
It’s kind of weird that Merlock's voice is so different compared to the movie. I guess that was a last minute decision? Hmm 🧐
The voice you get when you have made too many wishes!
this film Precedes aladdin by Two years Just different plot they couldve expanded the plot of this film if it had also included other disney afternoon characters in it like the rescue rangers and tail spin characters plus also had mickey and his friends in it if a rerelease were to happen . disney needs to do what warner did when they allowed the teen titans to watch the original space jam and have a Mystery science theater style serial of movies where disney toons basically watch movies and talk over the movie in the case of the 2017 ducktales plus other animated cartoons, the characters from those shows could sit and comment on the film
I always loved this. The ending in my opinion is the best because although Scrooge could have asked for treasure to his hearts content he did the most unselfish thing he could have done and used his final wish to allow Genie to have the one wish he desired more then anything else in the entire world.
To tell the truth, Scrooge initially thought to wish that the lamp to be buried in the center of the earth because he understood that it was dangerous if it fell into the wrong hands and he wanted to make sure that no one could use it again. Wishing the genie to become a real boy was to get rid of the lamp without harming him.
That’s not Christopher Lloyd’s voice at 0:27, 0:42 and 0:52.
I know. 😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔

"Colybaba" Sounds more like Columbia
I really love the animation for this! This is exactly what goes through my head when listining to prog rock, and you brought that to real life. Awesome work!
Oh man. I was sooooo hyped on this shit as a five year old. Was there a big hot air balloon at some point? With penguins or something?
I think you're thinking of the Chipmunk Adventure
This couldn't be more perfect! I love your style, how you drew the members of the band, all the vibrant colors and animation, and the fact that the jam/instrumental section caused a shock wave and time warp through the Earth haha. I love this so much!!!!!
Amazing how many people were there that night isn’t it…… Anyway sounds great.
I think Animal from the Muppet show is on the drums on this version :-)
The working title was "Malardan"
Fairly imaginative illustration but inaccurate: Fripp never played standing.
But he isn't standing up. If you observer clearly, you can see that he is sitting on a chair. It's the angle that makes it seem as if he is not.
Also, Fripp did play standing, though rarely. He played a few of Crimson's early gigs standing before he decided it wasn't working for him. There's also a video on TH-cam of him playing "Invocation" with the League of Crafty Guitarists, where he stands up when soloing.
Great work, thank you.
Way cool; and love the animation!
@1:44 look at those cartoon fingers go!
Trop cool l'Animation ! Je rêve moi aussi d'un monde avec des films synchros sur l'image. J'ai fait une vidéo avec Child in Time * B *
The imagery here is something else
Cartoon Fripp spot on.
