Mr. Lifto P3
Using pierced body parts to lift heavy objects is a huge “no thanks!” for most people -- but Mr. Lifto isn’t most people! He joins us to discuss (disgust?) touring with Lollapalooza as part of the Jim Rose Circus; shenanigans with Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Ministry and others; the “Circus of the Scars” documentary; shocking the talk show circuit; painful injuries; “bile beer;” and the time David Bowie made him wet his pants.

The same night as David Lee Roth at The Ewin Center, Megadeth was at Liberty Lunch on Peace Sells…before it was released. I had good DLR tickets but sold them to go see Megadeth. I miss all the shows in ATX.

Hey Dave n Jason from Ned in Spain. Grady and his gal, Julie?( I hope I got that right) stopped into our gallery of paintings and t shirts in Mallorca and he said he was doing tech for Pantera. A sweet coincidence coz Rex had been in a few weeks before. Grady told me Rex was sick, I hope recovers quickly. I then asked Grady if he was a Honky fan , he says yeah and that Bobby is on the Pantera crew too and to check out this podcast. Just want to say thanks for this and huge thank you to Bobby for his work with Honky and his amazing playing. Really miss Honky too. Get well Rex !

had the pleasure of watching Rob Rock when he was in CT in a cover band Touch, i think, Chris Impelliteri was in that group and i did not get to see that and i regret missing that, i went to school with Chris for 2 yrs and we got to see him blow us all away in friggin high school and a couple yrs out of hs just before he went to CA, he is one cat who could have stepped into Ozzy`s band when Randy passed (GOD REST HIS SOUL) my favorite HM blues/rock player Jay Johnson from Cryer took The spot Chris left in Touch and him and RobRock kicked ass , it was a treat to walk into a bar they were playing at, and they opened with Burn, Rob can still knock that shit out of the park, please get him on the show, i hate when everyone talks about all the great shows in the 80s i saw a lot and did get to meet Saxon, but i missed a ton of great shows cause i was snorting and smoking all my money, my best friend bought me a ticket and was excited to take me to see Heaven & Hell cause he new how much i love Dio, Queensryche * Alice Cooper and i was smokin crack and just could not answer that f,,,n phone that night, saw Dio a few times but never saw Tony Iomni and H&H and Mob Rules are two of the best metal lps ever made and i was an idiot, srry but Jonathan Cain is a big Pain in the ASS, did you see the way he was up the new guys ass in the video, i was glad to see it happen to anyone but you Jeff,,,,,,love ya bro
I love the images&words and the next 2 DT lps , however i am one dude who is not happy that Portnoy is back in DT, i bet he leaves within a yr or 2 and says what the hell was i thinking, lol, I want Sons Of Apollo to stay together and i am bummed to see these guys going back to other projects, I pray that they are not going to call it quits, i wish i had a ton of money to give them so they could just focus on Sons material , that is the only so called SuperGroup since CREAM imo, ,,,,forgot to say Jeff i am so Glad to hear you singing for TSO p.s i did not know you guys were Austinites, i lived there for 5-6 yrs used to work @ Schlotzsky`s corp store on S.lamar, and had a great gig working for Tim Oconnor , The Backyard, LaZona Rosa, Austin Music Hall, it was a very cool gig, got to see some Amazing shows for free, or if i worked i got to stay after i was cut and was told to just stay out of peoples way, miss the Back Room, Saxon Pub on sunday nights The Resentments, i am in San Diego and the music scene hear sucks, i want to move back and my buddies are like a lot has changed in ten yrs and got very expensive, i miss it and the people, Californians suck, Jan .
Great one, guys! Bobby has fascinating info/stories.
Junkyard rocks 🎸🎵🎶
