Traxxas stampede body with arrma body mounts. I had to make a custom piece that fit on the towers to hold the mounts

Im sure any 1/10 scale truck body will fit. Its just what i had

3.8 badlands on traxxas rims

Looks like remote is bound to receiver, now u need to do esc calibration, can find it in arrma manual... If u still cant figure it out let me know, ill help ya out.

@@gaberealrc7355 I can’t use arrma manual it’s a 1515 2200kv castle and a max 6 esc It goes forward but theirs times it just goes in reverse on its own ?

@@kryptonitelegacy4050 u need to calibrate esc. max 6 is hobbywing just like the arrmas use. follow the esc calibration instructions inside the arrma manual.

1.hold little button while turning esc on 2. let go of small button after 2-3 seconds 3. neutral throttle, press small button. - 1 beep 4. full throttle, small button - beeps twice 5. full brake, small button - 3 beeps. 6. shut off / turn on esc. recommend taking wheels off.

I see quite a bit that they aren't the best replacements. Lots have recommended replacing with stock so I did that. Although I noticed since the 4s maxx released they added a new line of arms for the xmaxx. Colors now available and winter durability tested.. Those should be sweet

I did notice that as well.. My guess being that this was a buggy, which are known for bigger airs due to lighter weight.. The eb48 gets some good air if I'm able to get some speed for a launch (which I've been fighting steering as well).. Ill brg both out next time 😊

As for preference? Hard to say.. Still something I'm curious about myself.. Teknos are super light. Eb48 gets flips in a lot easier than the typhon even on the same wheels.. I gotta get both tuned in before I can decide.. I seem to rip a lot of pivot balls out in the typhon specifically though.. Thanks for stopping by boss!

Hey thanks for stopping by brother CA! I am running 80f and 60r with orange springs.. I was running the ET with stock oil/springs and it was pretty bouncy as well.. I may keep the oranges on and go lower in oil.. I am running 3.8 badlands here on the white dishes.. I do have some Backflip LP's but i haven't tried em on the tekno yet. i was thinking about it for next time actually

No i had 2 wheel hexes come loose and I didn't have any tools with me this time.. I also got the motor a bit too hot and the bearings are noisy now.. And thanks boss i tried getting more speed this time! Thanks for tuning in as always boss! Cheers!

Haha yea it does get confusing at times when I'm further away, which is why I choose different colors for body/chassis.. And yes definitely better landing with this shock setup, I did confirm 80f and 60r, running tekno oranges, which are stiffer than stock.. Grass landings acts as a spring so im still trying to fix that, i may try back stock springs with the thicker fluid see how that goes. Definitely a lot better now than before tho
