1995 Michael Jordan: 'I'm Back' Bulls vs. Pacers Part 2/7
Pre (First 3 parts) and post match (as of Part 4) reports on MJ's return to basketball and the Chicago Bulls on Sunday 19 March 1995 in the (late) Market Square Arena of the Indiana Pacers. The anticipation and excitement of those days are still tangible.
Some footage and interviews are 'double' but nevertheless it's an interesting document of another 'Second Coming' that did not result in an immediate championship yet. However, it the next three seasons, Jordan brought 'home' another Threepeat!
The bulls lost the comeback game in overtime. Jordan was obviously rusty, his jumper off but he contributed substantially with his defence and assists. A few days later (part 6) MJ led -- almost as usual - his team to a convincing win over the Celtics in their Boston Garden. Jordan did initially appear with his Baseball number 45. He did return to his iconic # 23 in the 2nd play-off game with Orlando Magic.
P.S.
See the Chicago driver with his goofy 'Wanna be Mike Like' mix up (part 1 @ 4:03!

1996 Michael Jordan's Bulls Breaking Magic - Games 2 & 3 2/2
After blowing out the Magic in the 1st encounter, the Bulls built on their dominance. In game 2 (in Chicago) the Magic spoils a third quarter 18 points lead (to no surprise, simultaneously with Jordan 17 points) and in game 3 (in Orlando) the Bulls' defence drowns all Magic hopes; leaving them to just 67 points! Although many Bulls show up, MJ is instrumental. See his (3rd game) gem of a steal,...

In the much anticipated opening game of the 1996 East Conference final, the Chicago Bulls crushes the powerless Orlando Magic with a 38 points (difference) onslaught. In a typical team effort with a relatively quiet MJ, Luc Longley, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman contribute remarkably. In the process the Magic lose their power forward (and ex-Bull) Horace Grant injured. Grant was instrumental...

Where did you take this clip from? Like I remember the original video where you took this was ne of my favourites, if you could link it to me you would make me a great favour
Bedankt Johan!!!
Is deel 5/9 nog ergens te vinden?

RIP no. 14
Toch weer kippenvel hoor.
What a beast, who can pull a crowd of admirers like this guy did.
Johan is the best ever
Poor Calbert Cheaney
he was already the greatest after the first 3peat then another 3peat.JORDAN OWNS THE HORNETS BUT BLEEDS BULLS RED GOAT GO BULLS
this was silly. only 2nd game back. LA had no chance against the Bulls. That Bulls team wasn't just Jordan. So stacked. Rodman on his own a psychological defensive terrorist, Pippen and Harper were even better than Michael on D, and Pippen also an all-around player. Kukoc and Kerr off the bench. Just really deep and defensively sound in Chicago. I think Rodman was the best player on the Bulls that year. 57-7 with him. And he had an extraordinary finals when jordan only shot 41% for 26.5ppg I think? Anyways, Magic was still amazing. He's the GOAT, no question. He could do anything. Jordan is better on D and could dominate games but Magic would control that domination by dictating the pace. Michael only started winning towards the tale end of Magic's career. Johnson won 5 of their 7 first meetings and then Jordan took 8 of the next 10 H2H (incl finals) when Magic played with injured Worthy and Scott and post Cooper, Rambis, Kareem, Mac, Nixon, Thompson, and Wilkes (all guys who played with him at different times but could've helped). Magic essentially had rookies Smith and Campbell, 2nd year Vlade, Terry Teagal, and Perkins was probably the only decent guy he had in their finals run. I don't want to revise history with what-ifs but Bill Walton was once asked that if Magic had ANY help in the 1991 finals, if say Worthy hadn't sprained his ankle against Portland, would the Bulls have won that series and he said "Hell no". There'd be no debate if Magic left on top 1991 but he just didn't have the pieces and Jordan did. Jordan only won 1 playoff game his whole career without Pippen and missed the playoffs twice in weaker Eastern Conference. No one ever talks about his weakness to make his teammates better by inclusion but doesn't matter when folks are conditioned to buy the hype propaganda machine behind MJ
The greatest ever!!!!! Still
4:25, Roger Ebert
hard to believe this was 20 years ago
Miller's like, "I can't believe he took 28 shots in his first game back."...haha
Jackson knew the future.
49 seconds of game at 2:02. Spurs beat the Lakers during 94-95 season
On you tube Scottie pippen is a great ex basketball player we want to thank him spending more time in Chicago and now he can take care of his family thank you Scottie pippen when you played for the bulls from my writing in Rumford Maine 04276 ty reading my message on you tube godbless the fans in Chicago go bulls in 2014
Can't you all give Scottie pippen a lot of credit in Chicago not only Michael Jordan work on the basketball court
I think it was around this time that Dean Smith cautioned Jordan about doing his 360-degree slam dunk. Coach Smith thought it might "embarrass the other players." It was a little show-ey so Jordan refrained from doing it. Wow.
Prachtig!
Graag gedaan en wat een prachtig toeval ...
because his high school coach cut him during his sophomore year in high school.
Trijntje, kippenvel.
MJ 7 - 28 from the field. Being Kobe b4 it was cool.
I just hope he comes back to the nba
Meen this is awesome!!!!!!!!
You described it perfectly! that season was pardon the pun "Magical" every bulls game was an event! and when they played the magic, it was like playoff games during the regular season...it was the best a basketball fan 14/15 year old could hope for at the time. I loved it. Alt-Rock/Clinton/Chris Rock getting huge/Bulls winning titles every year. Ideal pop-culture life back then :)!
Heck yes, that was pretty sweet!
@patoutou25 the glory days of CNN sports!↨♥
Honestly, all the 10 loses that Bulls had, was the opponent's best single game performance of the season.
Echt grappig hoe Amsterdams Gullit eigelijk praat
grant hill and penny hardaway both could of took the torch from jordan but they got injured to much its sad cuz iwatched both play at great levels
Rodman attacking the camera guy, a sign of things to come.
@kutboxje Sigrid Koetse
Everyone in Chicago hated the Knicks and Starks, but I would say I would give my left nut to see those old skool Knicks face my Bulls all over again. Now that I'm older I can clearly say Starks was a beast and did everything he could to man up to GOD. He couldn't of play him any better,.. Jordan was just that amazing. Long live the 80's & 90's basketball.
I love how Ahmad kept begging Michael to come back "One more time, ONE MORE TIME"
thee greatest
@jpfmavren1 It does seem odd. He could use his left better than most right footed players, but for some reason seems to have preferred the outside of the right boot... this seems odd for a man who chose to come in from the left so often, particularly when Keizer and Rensenbrink were around...
LOL the end scared me
@TheLAKERSareGodsTeam no way magic has too many limitations.
PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE is there any chance of adding English subtitles.
