How can you call this man? Hes raised so much money for good causes (i have lost relatives to cancer so i should know!) Seeing his wife die and then deciding to help others, shows compation for others...When i served in the first Gulf War, saw the after effects of a childrens hospital which had been attacked by the Republican Guard, what did i do, train very hard, put a team together and did 180 miles of the Pennine Way, 80lb rucksack, in 12 days to raised money for a childrens charity!

This posh wanker shot a Polar bear through the ankle, he claims now it was in the toe adn it wans't limping. Why do we need toffs like this wasting time, money and risking lives and destroying the environment, what is so good about him? Die soon old man.

Sad comments kevinleslieedge. I've never met the guy, and probably never will, so I cannot comment. But if you have had to sit and watch a close family member/friend dieing of cancer, you will appreciate the work of the Marie Curie nurses. So good luck to him.

kevinleslieedge - I'd love to hear of your experiences climbing Mt. Everest. I trekked to EBC at Christmas (totally unaided) and I respect anyone who makes it that far - never mind the ones who continue up the mountain. You seem to have it in for RF, what's he done to upset you? Living joke? That's probably what you hold in your hand every time you go to the toilet!

My Gran spent her last days in a Marie Curie Hospice. The whole family was humbled by the amazing care she received. Well worth every single penny that is given to it, and of course more. The Marie Curie nurses have a passion for what they do and I hope someday I'll be able to turn around and give them a whole fortune, because they treated my Gran so well. It broke my heart to see her go but it was eased slightly, because of the Marie Curie standard of care.

Because Cancer kills world wide, vast amounts of money are needed to look into all types of cancers. Dont you think one of the largest diseases in the world need the largest funds? I do agree that awarness needs to be raised on other issues. But it goes on numbers.
