First time getting recommended this game,is this game similar to Minecraft in ANY WAY?
Vintage Story actually started in the very beginning as a Minecraft mod called Vintage Craft created by the founder Tyron. I've never actually played the mod, but supposedly at some point during the mod's development, Tyron realized how limited he was using the Minecraft client and wanted to do so much more, envisioned an entire separate world for himself focused on the old school minecraft difficulty, with hardcore survival mechanics and implementation. That put him into the idea of creating it entirely from scratch to make it a reality. Built the game engine from the ground, and worked at it to make it into what Vintage Story is now. It's impressive!

Why don’t you use peat. So much cheaper and faster. Also why don’t you use blue clay for all the molds and storage? Just asking. It’s ur game so u play how you want. I’m just curious
Good questions! Honestly it just comes down to what I have on hand or what is local to me and easier to get. I don't really care for peat most of the time (I don't really have an explanation as to why, I guess I just view peat and regular firewood the same? I know they aren't and I think peat has better fire times lol I just favor wood I suppose since I can also make charcoal, which I think about more so), but especially when I live local to redwood trees, where I can get a lot of wood quick. Also I use fireclay since there's more recipes under fire clay, and blue clay is slightly more limited to other things like bloomery's.

Hey man! You asked for feedback in ep1 or 2 and I decided to do it later and forgot. I'm sad no one else decided to comment, your vids seem great for first vids, the audio is on point all the time and the series is uploaded regularly. The one critique I got is that personally I would have cut some stuff, specially early like intro and whacking cattails n such, that last too long but keep some later exploration and such. Usually its fun to see you find new things, but not as fun to watch you re-tell us the adventure. My logic is, if its important enough to talk about more than just mention, then its important to show. Ex. horse-cage was mentioned, and that's enough, while the ruins and exploration could have been showed. But in general your channel is amazing, specially basing quality expectations to view-counts.
