    Those latches inside the rear window will let you lift the rear of the top up about a foot, and it has a prop rod to keep it lifted.

    • @amentauto3610
      @amentauto3610 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks! I actually figured this out shortly after this video was posted. Overall still a pretty bad design, un doing latches to get about a foot of lift is not ideal when you're trying to load up the back after a grocery run. Also dogs jumping in and out is very difficult (for a big dog).

      @amentauto3610 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Not saying the interior needs to be premium, just durable, well screwed together and some resemblance of quality. A dashboard and grab handle that flex with a push of a finger is unacceptable in a 50K vehicle. In the next couple weeks i will be posting a 50K mile, long term review of our 2021 Jeep Wrangler. • @amentauto3610
      @amentauto3610 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The car being so loud you cannot speak on the highway, a dashboard that flexes with 1 finger and a hood that flutters up and down at 40mph has nothing to do with aftermarket. The aftermarket exhaust was only loud under acceleration not at cruise and the tires, while not stock are similar enough to stock as noise would not be a massive difference. The Bronco is a cool looking vehicle but honestly kind of terrible. FYI I have owned 17 vehicles and driven well over 150 vehicles, i know terrible quality when i see it.

      Buddy I have been in collision repair for 15 years I drive 150 cars a year my only point is your reviewing a newer model for possible new buyers what you complain about is a trade off for the catagory it’s easy to wipe down and no frills like a Lexus you are more annoying than the exhaust when you complain about it being aftermarket no shit the grill is cheap shit and it’s a bullshit base model (I understand some people might be looking at a base) but not one with the most getto third world country mods on it. And your chick passed thick in 4th grade she is now endangering her own health I would say keep her out of frame but she is bigger than your backdrop

    Man you know 90% why you traded it back is because you fell out of love and wanted something different and used car market it hot. No way you'll save more money with better fuel mileage after all the taxes and fees and extra cost involved with buying two new vehicles back to back. Be honest with yourself and your viewers. Plus the cross sport looks oddly shaped, kinda ugly. Regular Atlas has a better more natural look.

    • @amentauto3610
      @amentauto3610 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No not at all, as stated in description of video shortly after we got the vehicle a job changed happen and our commute more than doubled. The vehicle was literally about to cost us 450-500 a month in fuel! Had we kept this vehicle being 3 years later we would have spent around 9-10K in fuel. Our replacement we have spent about 4K in fuel. So the loss we did take has now been fully repaid and we are saving every month.

    VW recommend on the UK website the Ohme Charger and Octopus supply. I got both when I purchased the VW Cupra Born. The VW Cupra Born didn’t charge 5-80% in 35 minutes stated in the technical info but took 50/55 minutes so basically less than 2hrs driving for 50/55m charging. Hopeless in my experience! I’d carefully check the stated rate of charging and make sure that VW won’t later argue it is a “range” for instance. The VW website for the id4 has an involved charging simulator and a long footnote which includes the unexplained and random battery safe “feature”. Given my experience of the VW Cupra both with poor DC speed and with half charging overnight on Ohme/Octopus on 75/80% of AC charges, I’m not convinced with this EV platform

Personally I have made the switch from Audi to VW bc Audi is too techy these days and with a couple of modifications most VWs are actually better on a lot of levels. Why not get the 2.0T? The VR6 is not for people that want to save gas but want the direct power of a NA engine. I test drove the 2.0T atlas, the turbo lag was horrific, Ill take the direct power of the VR6 any day.

    I am buying a sided one this weekend. I love it. I have test driven several. The ride hight. The space the power. It feels great. I work from home most of the week and my office is only 10 miles from my home. So 40 miles a week to commute to work. I am finally able to own a car that going to be fun rather than a commuter car to beat up. I am coming from a ford escape and this is a huge leap forward in every way. I also test drive the Honda passport. I had high hopes for it. It felt like the ford the moment I sat in it. If I am spending money I want to feel like I am getting my moneys worth. This Car checks all the boxes I have ever wanted from an suv. AWD, space, V6 power, ride height etc etc. and given the car will sit in my driveway most of the week with most driving be local. I am fine with the gas consumption. We will take it for long trips when the weather is nice. We might as well do it in style and comfort. My only issue is finding one in the R-line config. They are hard to find with low miles and in my price range. So I will settle for the SE with tech. And at a later date get the more aggressive looking rims. That should help the aesthetics. I can’t wait!!
