I Made Such A Cool Sample Pack With The Casio SK1 And A Weird Twist
Hi! It's been a while since I posted on here, but I wanted to show everyone my new sample pack LIMINAL! I made a bunch of killer sounds on my UDO Super 6, then sampled them through my SK1 for lofi goodness. Then I panned that sound left and right and added some spring reverb and it sounds so cool.
If you would like to purchase the pack, do so here: tuesdaysamples.com/products/liminal-dream-pop-production-suite
If you would like to try it out first, do so here: tuesdaysamples.com/products/liminal-teaser

Korg DW-8000 Waveforms For The UDO Super 6
มุมมอง 415ปีที่แล้ว
Hello Everyone, I have breathed new life into The UDO Super 6, by creating 16 waveforms taken from the 1980's Korg DW-8000 Synthesizer. The DW-8000 is one of all of my all time favorites, and I'm so stoked to be able to use it's sounds in a new way. I play the K3 First, then follow it with the same waveforms on the SUPER 6 for comparison. To buy these visit my Gumroad shop below: leopardtuesday...
Kawai K3 Waveforms For The UDO Super 6
มุมมอง 311ปีที่แล้ว
Hello Everyone, I have breathed new life into The UDO Super 6, by creating 33 waveforms taken from the 1980's Kawai K3 Synthesizer. The Kawai K3 is one of all of my all time favorites, and I'm so stoked to be able to use it's sounds in a new way. Because the K3 and SUPER 6 use the same filter, these waveforms sound exactly the same, as seen in this video. I play the K3 First, then follow it wit...

Showing off the sound and features of this lovely, early 80's Italian mono synth. I then use those sounds to make a song using only that synth and dance to it. It's very hot.
MAKING LO-FI SYNTH SOUNDS WITH THE CASIO SK-1 / How I use the SK-1 in my dreamy indie music.

An introduction of the features and sounds on the casio sk-1, and why you need to buy one for lofi music in 2020.
oh my goodness this is shot so nicely.
oh absolutely
this video is so much better than it needs to be and I love you for that
3:23 DROOPY LIKES YOUR FACE
That's really a prophet .5
The SK-1 was my 1st xmas present my dad got me after my mum died when i was 8. Literally hundreds of hours was spennt messing about with it. Hit the demo button :-)
Love the piano!
Good little tutorial. Just got a Realistic Concertmate-500 (the Radio Shack clone of the Sk-1) and plan on working on an Autechre-like techno album with it.
Nice Vox amp! Is that the VR15 or VR30?
Hey. When you record a sample via the mic is there always a click during playback?
I have been planning on doing this myself, but I am time poor. Thank you
Happy to help! It took forever to get it to work correctly haha.
Would love to hear these waves in action!
These patches are next level
You're the american's ALex Balls please come back, I just arrived!
PLZ make some noise again!
Love your flatted earth ring (duh : flat ringed)
Are you using any pedal?
Nope!
@@mattmink6491 Thanks, I also own one but never programmed such awesome sounds.. is there a way that you can share the settings? Thanks
Hello this is 2010 lol
This keyboard is a bedroom musician's best friend
Love this
Some of the intruments especially pipe organ sound huge through a bass chorus pedal (i had to pt the vibrato off for it to sound good with chorus though)
I, too, enjoy Goodbye Horses
Great sounds - thanks for the demo! 👍🏻
you have to use the synth function! you can make fat sawtooth square triangl etc.
the king returns
i was sold from the intro music 🤧👍🏾
Hello I'm trying to find a power supply for this synth after buying a deceptive one listed for casio sk-1 that doesnt even match the voltage, what power supply did you use?
Jan 2023: Loved mine - got it that same holiday it came out - '85 or '86? Muffly 8-bit sampling but was a hit at family reunions and just experimenting around. Eventually found a used SK-5 and enjoyed it similarly. Wish I didn't sell them 20 years ago on Ebay. :/
best walk through of this synth on youtube! thanks :)
the artist Kitchen inspired me to get one of these!
I love the Prophet 5 badge on the back. 😂
Dang your synth tones are pretty cool but your dance moves are legendary.
You can make some mellotron type of sounds with these old Casio samplers.. the stock presets aren’t all that but add some cool samples and some reverb and you can make some awesome lofi sounds..👍
Yes really beautiful, I like sampling synths and guitars with delay/flanger etc.
Sounds great man definitely subscribing !
Mine wont stop playing only one note :((((
you are destined for greatness 🤣
What song are you playing at 4:56
Jerry Whiner - Indigo Waves :)
this is so cool. great video
Thank you! ❤️
All cute sounds and nostalgic dream vibes set aside this thing is a beast and way more flexible and full of pad features
I like the baby Juno sound, it was cute yet compressed edgy
cool man, great synths etc
Yup. Copping
hey dude I like your music style. let's make some music
Godamn that Juno sound its amazing
Wait.. hold up. So you're telling me I can sample things besides farts into this keyboard?
Weird you say that coz I hear that a lot about using this like that yet no one I knew who had one of these ever did that except for the kind of jocks who’d just take someone else’s to burp or fart in it for a cheap laugh and didn’t really have an interest in music
that white juno looks crazyyyyyyy
I really love that sound at 5:00, and at 5:10 sounds like wild ellie, ellie's delight.
We would do an Amaj power chord on distorted guitar into the sampling of a casioSK1 then you have a really tough sound....the ostinato repeating pattern in our tune "feverish bridge of time distortion" is that.... Also the keyboard player of the Fuckedtones (HW Shorebird alias Steve Short RIP) had a secret he did with the casio SK1 which he called the "G force" and what you do is hit the G note and the loop at same time ...not exactly sure but something like that, Iit was a secret haha) and it would trick the processor into going into a very strange loopy garbly thing that never stops and sort of builds and builds as the processor tries to figure it out. Actually I think it is you hit sampling, loop and the note G all at same time creates a tri-tone misdisfunction you could call it... If you can get it to do it its very cool...just sit there and the machine tries to catch up to itself and just keeps going.... Here is feverish bridge of time distortion: th-cam.com/video/AtZiP_fAV5A/w-d-xo.html Thanks for video!
Hey Matt, come back, we miss you man Hugs from Brasil, you are awesone <3
