On Saturday, December 18, 2021, I took my son Miles on a short CC from Salt Lake International to Evanston, Wyoming and back. Great winter flying up Immigration Canyon, over the Wasatch mountains and east to Evanston. Flying between 9,500 and 10,500 MSL. Incredible views! Includes video of my takeoff and landing back in SLC.

November 2021 - Took my son Miles on a Cross Country flight departing KSLC to Nephi Airport and back, about 2 hours round trip, with a "leg stretch" break in Nephi. Includes video of us taking off from Nephi and our landing Salt Lake City - Cessna 172. I'm working on my instrument rating out of Cornerstone Aviation in Salt Lake City, Utah.

UPDATE: I passed my instrument checkride in October 2022 (it was uneventful, no video this time!). As of January 2024, I have completed my long (day) commercial solo and shorter day/night commercial XC's and just need a few more hours (less than 20 hours and some hood time) to be ready for the commercial checkride.
