It is what we have now and how we deal with the sun, rain and wind. THIS IS our future and contribution to building technology. These are linear actuators. They are very elementary and simple to produce. This is not a technology based on features. It's a tool that helps us negotiate with nature. These could be solar panels modules, these could be illumination devices among many other things. It's robotics in the purest form that allows change and adaptability. We have parts of the puzzle. If the energy problem for operation is solved up to practical levels then this will follow as a natural step.

Let me reiterate. This is the future that became present. Parametric architecture is exactly this. There's nothing more to add. The actuators, the classical grasshopper approach of attractors, the coordination and servomechanisms are all in this tiny wall. These are sun regulators. It can get more interesting with double skins with these treatments and materials. The prototype opens a new road ahead for thermal parametric modular architecture. It can be rigid or dynamic. It can be static or mechanized. Either way the technology is there and available in simple gestures. I'm lucky that I found Leva. I'm deeply interested in projects like this.
