3:12 try just pulling the handbrake really quick then off after already throwing it at the hairpin, then you’ll get the last bit of rotation then you give gas

The physics make you feel like you’re really driving on gravel, ea wrc is a little to planted and the oversteer is very snappy and hard to catch

Sounds on DR2 beat any other rally game and that is the reason I keep playing it over the rest.

If you want suggestions there are the TT Isle of Man series, the Ride seres too I think you haven't reviewed

I have very little to complain about Dirt Rally 2.0, only that it takes unreasonable amount of storage space, wish there was some more countries and at times during races the track feels like it repeats some track elements.

KT Racing gives you all of that and it takes less than half the storage space than EA's WRC, seriously I can't see the Why EA games needs* so much hard drive space

I don't like how Rf2 handles all of its content through Steam, so they can and will remove content in the future. They have already said some of the changes coming due to licenses expiring. Such a bummer to use Steam only. GTR2 has similar AI and I still play GTR2 because of it. GTR2 has the same ISI engine, just one generation prior, the graphics are outdated though, but the content will always be there and wont be removed ever from a 3rd party software.

This race had the perfect combination of it being the following It was essentially America vs Germany USA vs Europe Muscle Car vs Sports Car V8 vs Flat 6 An most importantly Obnoxius American vs Humorless German XD

Two days on WRC and my opinion is its trash, going to delete it and download this instead.

Unfortunately this doesn’t even come close to dirt rally 2.0 I just want a game that comes close to that game

I absolutely love this game, so much content, it never gets old to me , some car sounds are annoying othe than that it a perfect rally game

Just grabbed a steam key for £5.39. I can confirm it is a decent rally game.

Had awful time with ai in this sim.

I got 4000 hours on it. What else can I say. Yes I have all the title and a dedicated rig. I also have a lot of IRacxing hours.

Just picked this up on weekend sale GOTY edition for £5.24, now that seems like value.

in rf1 you can train the ai for new(3rd party) content. probably you can do it in rf2 too. so the inconsistency you have noticed might be evaded, if your moding is done properly.

Love the ai but wish there was larger online community- iracing got too expensive but was a great online game- reactor though was my favorite

DR2.0 miles better than EAWRC? I just don't understand that take, like not even a little. Having tested both side by side the last 2 weeks (after 100's of hours in Dr2 and WRC9 previously) DR2.0 definetely feels like the predecessor. Where EAWRC feels like DR2.5 with WRC merged on and improved in most ways. DR2.0 was way too 4 wheel steering slidey, specially on tarmac. EAWRC is quite an improvement over DR2.0 in that regard. And feeling you like actually are running some good tyres that stick on tarmac. What got EAWRC most hate, and rightfully so, was the utterly crap performance. Today it runs quite a lot better than at launch. Both are great titles and worth playing. RBR is for a select few purists.

2:28 actually EA WRC is a great game. Some people dont want to on from DR 2.0 and EA WRC had a few issues at lauch but now is perform very well.

I have this really annoying sound issue, where I constantly hear random cracks and pops through my headphones. Anyone else had this and knows a fix? I play on xbox series S.

Say what you want about EA WRC but I love it. Great game for my first foray into rally sim racing.

I used to think Dirt Rally 2.0 was better, but honestly when you play WRC EA for a while, it is much better. MUCH longer and interesting stages, changing weather, amazing dust trails, more locations. Climbing the slopes of Monte Carlo as the snow and ice starts to form as you ascend is just epic. Dirt Rally 2.0 probably has better car models and art style though. But overall, EA WRC looks higher quality when you compare the two, despite looking bad at times. With the right lighting it can look downright gorgeous.
