MERCEDES W126 INSTALLING KIENZLE / AXION CR1225DAB+ HEAD UNIT - STEREO UPGRADE.
Just a basic installation video for the head unit. I'll be making a second pass to get some of the wiring tightened up and the mic run for the bluetooth cell connection but wanted to make sure it actually worked first. Complete review coming soon.

Putting together a wiring harness / adapter for the head unit install. The Red Wolf Pin ISO adapter fit perfectly in the head unit I bought. The Metra 70-1860, I believe, works with most of the W126 models but you can use sites like Crutchfield to double check for you specific model. Proceed with caution if you want to do this. Not the hardest thing to do but first time I did this on a 420SEL ran into a few small issues so figured this might help some folks. New chrome pieces for rear bumper arrived and were in the excellent condition plus the seller spent the extra time to clean the inside (that you'd never see) and apply rust protection which was awfully nice. New wheels for the silver 420 arrived late Wednesday and opened them up this morning so I could get some pics of them next to the car. Wheels are by Maxilite and these are the Gulli Style which come in a couple of sizes, these are the 17" x 8". Obviously patterned after the original factory wheels so keeps with the theme of maintaining a stock (ish) look to the car. Hopefully get the tires next...
