I like it, and the general idea! Though personally I feel the pacing could be improved to be a bit faster, but I suppose that is much harder to edit.

mold sprue placement wasn't the best, attempting to patch the broken off portions of the mold will lead to non compacted areas that will get caught in the pour and end up in the casting, should have remade that half as soon as you saw it had failed. sprue shape should have been conical, easier pour target. larger crucible, more material available for the pour, at least 20% greater than your plan for. you can mold a tower inside a metal can that sits over the sprue ports, it acts as a shrinkage reservoir and an overfill, you want more metal in there than you need. feed the melt to the center and to three points along the upper rim where its thickest, allows the melt to flow further before it cools and freezes in the mold. need handles for the drag and cope so you can lift it off easier. on your pattern add a set of holes you can thread screws into, once the top half is off the mold add the screws to the pattern so you can use the screw heads as handles and as a location to tap and break the pattern loose, have an easier time removing it from the bottom. sides need a better draft angle, less chance of breakup when splitting the mold. use a flour mill on the first layer so you get a smaller grain, smoother surface and better detail. add the talc then use a brush to make sure it covers all surfaces, less chance of sticking. larger mold box and more sand around the casting, absorbs heat better and lowers the chance of the mold catching fire. You heat fitted the lid so it will go on there exactly. You will have shrinkage in the casting as it cools, need to take that into consideration when you make the pattern.
