Craps Basics: The Hardway Bets
มุมมอง 8114 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Hardway bets in craps are a popular side bet focused on rolling pairs (doubles) to achieve a specific total. These bets are made on the numbers 4, 6, 8, and 10. To win a Hardway bet, the chosen number must be rolled as a pair before it is rolled in any other combination (the "easy way") or before a 7 is rolled. For example, if a player bets on the Hard 6, they need to roll a pair of threes (3-3...

The Denver Craps Coach. The Hardway Dice Set. Video#1
Complete lunacy. The dice have no memory and past rolls have no influence on future rolls.
🎲. Thank you for watching the video. We appreciate your comments. I do agree with your statement that the dice have no memory. However, probability tells us a different story, and to simply say the dice have no memory is one dimensional thinking. Let's take flipping a coin as an example. You have 50% chance that a heads or tails will show up. Now let's flip that coin 100 times. The coin, just like the dice, has no memory. Therefore, every single flip of the coin you have a 50% chance of getting heads or tails. In theory, you could flip the coin 100 times and get heads 100 times. In theory. Probability tells us that the likelihood of that occurring is highly improbable. It's conceivable that 100 flips of a coin, heads could show up 100 times. However, it's highly improbable. That's where probability and statistics will tell us a different story. After your 100 flips of the coin, the distribution may not be exactly 50-50, but it's going to be somewhere within one standard deviation of that. And that's the same theory that is being applied when recording the results at the craps table. We thank you for watching the video! 🎲
Thanks for this video, I gotta study and remember those dice settings.

What do you do if let's say they roll a box number for the first count then the same box number for the second count. After that they roll a seven while the puck is off, do you cancel the count or is the seven considered the third count?
🎲. Thanks for watching the video and your comment. You keep the count going according to the protocol. Box Number, then point made- you are at count-2. Counts 3,4 will be the results of the next 2 rolls. (in your example, 7, then what ever is rolled after that.).
Have you ever been backed off @ a casino for successful dice control?
🎲.. Thanks for watching her video and your comment. Casinos can use various ways to discourage you. The most common is to tell you you were taking too long to throw the dice. I have been told not to set the dice before also. I just walked away from that table when that occurred. As long as you throw and hit the back wall, usually no "heat" is given to you.
@@thecrapscoach When card counting became an issue casinos started started backing off successful card counters even though it wasn't cheating. If many more gamblers become successful dice controllers then casinos will start backing them off. Agree?
I used the 3v. and it works. I used it throughout my turn and was hitting the point multiple times. I had keep my bets small but everyone else were winning big. The pit boss was getting annoyed. Before it was my turn to shoot the table was cold and I immediately lost $25 off another shooter.
🎲. Thank you for your comments and watching our videos. The 3V dice set is great, because if kept on axis, there are only two sevens..
No difference in random rollers or dice setters .. the dice doesn't care it's random every time
🎲. We appreciate you watching our videos and we welcome your comments. Charting a table certainly helps track the distribution of the roles to see if they are falling in line with the statistical probabilities. 🎲🎲
Did you mean lay the 4 or 10? You said buy but had the stack in the lay area. I can see laying the four or Ten to hedge against an early seven.
Probably. I try to catch where I might miss speak or fumble over my words, and correct it with graphics.
finally! anything can happen on any given roll but numbers balance out all of the time. Thanks for the video. Any issue with charting at a live table in the casino? I would hope not.
🎲. I've never had an issue with pen and paper at the table. Usually I get some quizzical looks that turn into questions, and then questions like "When was the last time a Hard 10 hit?"
Ha! Yeah I believe that. Crazy looks at first and then hundreds of questions.
I like to pair a 30$ 6&8 with a 5$ hard 6&8 if it comes easy payout 35$ put the 5$ hard way back. If it comes hard I parlay to 50$ hard way looking for the repeater and a 450$ payout. If I’m up I do a 25$ but bet on the 4&10 and pair it with a 25$ hard way easy way pays 50$ for 1 which I put the hard way and if it comes hard collect the 7-1 payout on the hard way thanks for the vids coach.

🎲🎲. Thanks for watching the videos. New content always arriving. I appreciate your feedback.
Charting is more predictive with dice setters than random rollers because setters can balance their body's energy centers/chakras, vs random rollers betting on pure luck and probability variables.
you're missing out on recording the actual combinations
🎲. Thanks for watching our video. Charting is about collecting data and then decision-making based upon that data.
Counting dice throws doesn't change anything.

Have you seen a chart where you end up a roll distribution visually? Kind of like in Crapsee
🎲🎲. Thanks for watching our video. I’ve never seen what you describe. You would probably need a electronic version, but openly having electronic devices while playing a game are frowned upon. This is why the manual tracking of rules with pen and paper are allowed. 🎲

This video covers most of the popular dice sets that people use. The all sevens dice set I like to use on Come Out rolls.
🎲🎲. We appreciate you watching our videos! 🎲🎲
I thought the betting process didn't start until after the five count had been reached. At least that was the way The Captain of Craps played. When one of the Come Points gets hit aren't you supposed to put up another Come Bet? At least that was the way The Captain of Craps played. The five count works against most random rollers. Been using it for years.
🎲🎲. Thanks for your comment. From everything I’ve read, you just do your three come bets, nothing more. Although your point is very good, sense, replacing a come bet that has one is a great idea.
In actuality you are always playing against the house no matter whether you play the Pass Line or the Don't Pass. If you win your bet the house pays you and if you lose the house collects your bet. You're not playing with or against other players at the table.
🎲🎲 thanks for watching the video. You are correct, you are not playing against other players, however, if you’re playing the don’t pass, you were hoping for seven well others are not
Good explanations.
Thanks for watching the video.
If you hit the point on the 5th count, do you wait until another point is established and begin betting at that time? If a box number is the next number rolled, wouldn't that technically be the 6th count? If you roll a series of non box numbers (except the 7) after you hit the point on the 5th count, you could be up the 7,8,9,...""count before betting begins.
Once you get to the count of five, betting begins. In your example, you would start with a pass Line bet.
Always good to go back to the basics no matter how long you’ve been playing.
🎲🎲. So true! A refresher is always worth the time to keep your game sharp!
I always use a hard way 8 set, not to try to influence the outcome of the dice but really just a habit. I see a lot of guys throw the dice right off the table and the extra second or two that it takes me and the grasp of the dice , I don’t know, calms me down? And the throw is perfect and never leaves the table. I don’t know if I’m explaining this correctly. I just find that being able to keep the game moving along is better than throwing the dice wildly and having them bounce onto the floor every other roll.
When it's your money on the line, and it's your turn to throw, I used the analogy of a baseball pitcher on the pitchers mound. You don't throw the dice until you're good and ready to throw. Outside pressure should not influence when you're ready to throw.
@@thecrapscoachof course! I’m just talking about the natural nervousness during the excitement of the game. Using a hard way 8 set and taking a couple seconds to get ready for the throw helps me to make a good throw and not send the dice all over the casino. It’s not outside pressure though I have had the stick man tell me I could throw anytime.
I like to hop seven, what is the best dice set to roll seven consistently.
I appreciate your comments! Thanks for watching the video!🎲🎲. If you're on axis proficiency is 48-49+%, I'd suggest by of the Pro-7 sets!
I wish you no 7s on all your hops and only hard ways
The pass/come bet is NOT a good bet. You only have eight ways ( 22.2%) to win with four ways (11.1%) ways to lose and twenty-four ways (66.6%) that a point will be rolled. Now you have to roll that point number a second time to win. Better odds are on the Don't side. One of the "Top Ten Myths in Craps" Good Luck at the tables. ☯♠
Thanks for watching the video! I appreciate your comments! Toughest roll to get past is the come-out when playing the "Don't". After that you are favored to win! 🎲🎲
@@thecrapscoach Hedge bet your Don't bet ( $1-$2 on the 11) now you only have 6 ways to lose on the 7 ( 16.6%) and 84% that you will not lose. We do this all the time. Only negative to this strategy is if you're an influencer and waiting to shoot the dice and the three or four people ahead of you never get to the 5 count on a cold table and you haven't bet any action you won't be able to shoot the dice. This happened to me @ The Lodge in Black Hawk. Nice video....
Thanks for watching the video! I appreciate your comments! Sometimes I make very minimal bets while waiting for my turn to shoot.
I learned this today . Pit boss said something to me but I didn’t plan on shooting anyway
Just put a dp bet up hedging your place bets ! After 5 rolls place the point along with the other bets ! Problem solved
Thanks for watching the video!
It’s an interesting experiment however I’d just like to add one thing, how many players ever just collect every time? Almost everyone does some type of press and collect system so the player playing the inside most likely would have won more
Thanks for watching the video!

Nonsense when the dice leave your hand there is nothing you can do to influence its outcome. If what you say is true everyone should have learned it by now and the casinos would go bankrupt.

It’s true once the dice leave your hand there’s nothing you can do to influence the result. However there’s a lot you can do before and up through the release of the dice that will influence the outcome. There’s many skilled dice instructors, let me know if you want a recommendation.
Serafin, keep believing that and lose a lot of money at the craps table. Craps Coach is right, you can do it based on physics, however the whole point of dice control is to avoid the 7, not hitting a certain number all the time.
