Fun! Love the inspiration comes from an album cover, and love your interpretation of it!
Absolutely beautiful.
Did you work on this in a hoop then move it to the frame?
If you check out the link on attaching this to a wood frame, I got through the whole process of how I stitched this one!
Amazing! I think I love this one the most (but I love them all).
That’s so sweet! You can definitely play favorites!!!
It looks great! I have picture framing experience. Alternatively, you could stitch your work over the acid-free mat board and use spray mount or acid-free glue to glue the edges onto the back. Use staples on the inside to hold it into the frame and apply a dust cover over the back to protect the back. Use glass or not. I know that your point here is to see the hoop guts. 😊 This is a suggestion for someone wanting to put their work in a frame. So many are available in thrift shops, Michael's or Hobby Lobby. I l9ve the way yours looks like an artist's wrap finish.
Those are excellent suggestions!! Thank you so much for sharing them here! I might try the acid-free mat board method too!
I have tried to start this before in my quest to find as many honnies as possible using beads. Very nice!
I love it. So much work and detail, and I love the colors you used. Beautiful!
Thank you so much!!
Beautiful ❤ Because I paint and have them laying around, I have always mounted my to a canvas but then you don’t get to see the guts…a good thing on my pieces😂😂😂
Excellent idea! Even wild hoop guts are awesome, in my opinion!!
Thank you for sharing! I’m like you and love something to stitch on in between projects to just relax and stitch! It gives me a break!!!🙃
I miss AC Moore too! Beautiful art.
Hear alot of Canadian Artists in the background. Sarah has always been so smooth 👍🇨🇦
It is absolutely beautiful ❣️👏🏼❣️🌻🦋 Thank you
Thanks! 💜💜💜
Wow! Gorgeous !
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful handwork. Thank you for sharing.
I’m glad you like enjoyed it! Thank you!!
Oh.. so gorgeous... 😘🇨🇦
Thank you so much!!
I hope Joni sees this. Can''t wait to see the entire pieced finished. 😘🇨🇦
Thank you so much! I’ll definitely share it when it’s finished!
I ❤ this painting, this is a fascinating way to appreciate it anew!
This is awesome!! Thanks for sharing.
I finally found a canvas I want to embellish so I can get started. Thanks for the ideas.
Yay!!!!
This will be a very interesting project Nichole, thankyou. I am stitching my second attempt at thread painting on some floral fabric at the present…I am thinking that what you will be doing is similar? I look forward to learning from your approach 😊🇦🇺🌻🦋
Yes, a very similar approach!
Girl With a Pearl Earring is so old, it’s royalty-free. An artist has since amended the image, so it now would be original art belonging to that artist. You, having purchased a copy of that new original art, own that single copy. Because you own that single canvas, YOU can amend it too. Because you own it, you can sell it. However, you cannot make prints of the new art and sell those prints. That would be copyright infringement. I’m not a lawyer. I’ve read a lot about copyright law and feel I definitely understand this part of it. Copyright laws are different in each country. BTW if you took an image of the original art by Vermeer and colored over it, then stitched over it, you could make copies for sale. Good luck because TEMU would probably steal your work. China does not respect copyrights. Anyway, what you’ve done here is terrific, very inventive. Great idea! 💜💜💜
This is all super helpful info! I always tread very, very carefully with other people's art but it sounds like you are definitely well-read in this!!! Thank you so much!
@@Wildboho I read a bunch of stuff, but I like what Wikipedia had to say. 💜
Very interesting idea! You could print a photo on canvas and that would work too!
Absolutely! And it would be even more personal then too!
😮WOW! Simply amazing❤❤❤❤❤
Oh, very interesting! I’ve stitch on canvas I’ve painted before and I might just finish one of them with you. Maybe even one of my children’s paint by numbers would be good!
That is an EXCELLENT idea!! It makes it an even more personal project!!
I was just telling my sister about doing something like this.
That’s so cool!
This piece is fantastic!!
Thank you so much!!
The girl with the Pearl Earring ❤ Love all the sequins and embellishments you bought❤
You know I love a good sequin!!!
Great video! I will definitely watch the stacked beads video. 💙🩷💜
Going back to Michaels
Your video helped me think outside the box. Will be looking more closely at objects I see at the thrift store. We do not have any Walmart, Lowe’s, Home Depot, any craft stores of any kind. Only a dollar tree and a family dollar store. But I find wonderful treasures at our local thrift store.
Thrift stores are my favorite kind of shopping adventures! I find so many things there too!
Nicole, I enjoy seeing your dimensional embroidery. It inspires me to step out of my comfort zone and try new ideas. Thank you for sharing your creativity and time. I hope to purchase your new book in the near future.
I’m so glad you’re enjoying the dimension!!! Thank you so much!!
Where did you get the little felt orange cups/ bowls? They look like something you would see under water in coral.
I do need some help reading the bead containers. I think they are adorable and would be a great addition to 100,000,00 . I own. Thanks for being you. Your channel fills me with such joy.
That is so nice of you to say...thank you! Let's see, the bead containers are all the "recipe boxes" from John Bead. Here is the link to where you can find them on my amazon affiliate page (because they are wholesale, this is the best place to find this particular type of accent bead!): www.amazon.com/shop/wildboho/list/31FA2E4GVY8BW?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_aipsfwildboho_RGKBQYN492619SNPMWTF
Oh I love a new rabbit hole! Thank you!
Замечательное вдохновение!!🤩😍🥳
Outstanding! I’m gobsmacked every time because, tho I’ve embroidered for about 60 years, I never dreamed it could be like this. I’m so inspired! 💜💜💜
Oh my word...what a compliment! Thank you so much!
@@Wildboho 💜💜💜
Once again its awesome!
Thank you so much!!!
I love this piece! It is happiness. Thank you for sharing.
Awww! Thank you so much!!
I love how this worked out!❤
Thank you so much!
I had a question, if you need to move to a different area to bead, but you are using a hoop. How do you do so without messing up the beading?
So when I’m stitching a hoop like this, I’m working all over the place with beads and embroidery. If I’m working in the lower left and want to do something in the upper right, I generally will not carry my thread that distance. So I’ll tie off my thread in the lower left before I move to the next section. If I’m just moving from one area to another and it’s not a big jump, I’ll keep stitching with the same continuous piece of thread. I hope that answers your question!
Why do you waste all that thread at the back of your hoop?
Going up and down with the thread in the back makes the stitches tighter, which is what I wanted for this hoop.
I understand , thanks.
Wonderful! I do enjoy your videos. 💜💜💜
I'm so glad! Thank you!
I am amazed how you get the needle threaded every single time on first try! And now I need another tool.😂
That’s the beauty of edited videos!!! 😉
I love that you always make your projects so colorful, and the colors compliment each other.
Thank you so much! I really just love stitching with color!!
Whoa! I have a bunch of those Sprague boxes. Yes, supplies for old tech electronics, radios and such. You got lucky! And you got a really good bargain. 🩷🩷🩷
Oh that's so cool you have the boxes!!
@@Wildboho My Dad tinkered a lot. And he never threw anything away he could repurpose. He taught me how to tinker too. 💜💜💜
Omgoodness those are beautiful!!! I too was thinking it looked like tatting. I have a few asstd pcs that my Grandmother had done; along with her shuttle a such. But that’s all I know about it. I never saw her work with it🥲. My husband mentioned that the pkg might have been for an electronic(tv) device from back in the day. For what it’s worth! Thank you for sharing, your work is gorgeous🥰❤️😀
Why don’t you cut a circle of SF 101, the size of inner hoop, and iron onto linen once in the hoop on the back and NO shadowing of dark threads and it supports lettering much nicer. Just a quick tip from a fellow stitcher. It also supports heavier beading embellishments from tearing or weakening linen or whatever substrate without adding bulk to linen inside the hoop rings. I hope that makes sense, to you. Basically a flat circle that reaches to inner hoop on back of linen only.inside of hoop.
How cool! What a great find. Our thrift shops here in VA aren’t that great.
Oh I can't wait! Do I have to sign up or anything? Thanks!
No need to sign up! Just head over to that link and you can watch the class when it premieres!! I hope you enjoy it :)
Love your video thank you! Have to find more. 😊
Thank you so much!
