It sounds slightly better, however, you would've gotten a much, much more pronounced difference if you had done something like the tape mod on your board. It's in my opinion by far the best option for people who have these Q series boards that will make the biggest difference, it's extremely noticeable. I was blown away with how different my Q5 Pro sounds after doing the tape mod.

If you are using led keyboard than use transparent key so that it can be visible at dark as well otherwise it is use less

Some thoughts on modding the M7. After trying the force break mod and tape mod on my Monsgeek. The tape mod really made a huge difference, it turned from a clacky sound to a very poppy sound. I didn't feel the force break mod had much of an impact compared to Keychron boards as the case wasn't too pingy to start with. What do you think? Will you try the tape mod on it?

also, editor's tip: the music is a bit too loud, its overpowering the controllers buttons sounds, so id recommend lowering the volume of the music by like 10-15% and keeping the rest the same. that should produce better results in audio mixing! (I also edit and produce music, so i just wanna be helpful!)

The HC4 is surprisingly good. I ordered it at the same time as a Cayin RU7 because, as an R-2R and tube fan, I thought I would like a little more warmth in the sound. In fact, the RU7 doesn't sound noticeably warm, but it clearly lacks details. In comparison, the HC4 also plays complex classical orchestras in a relaxed and detailed manner. My setup at home, which of course shapes my expectations: Holo May Level 2 with Romy 20se. What really gets on my nerves, however, are the big jumps in volume. There could be more steps. Tested with Campfire Suoermoon on the new 4,4mm balanced cable.

100% honest. not a keyboard enthusiast. Just in the market for a new keyboard. When you did the sound test i closed my eyes waiting to hear a difference. I didn't detect any at all. The demo ended and i opened my eyes and had to rewind and visually see when the switch from old to new was. I didn't detect it at all. Video is nicely made though ;)

So that's basically the same stuff as in the q1 max I imagine? I got a v1 max but there is only one guy that reviews it, and another that reviews the v2 max. All the reviews are for the q1 max. Almost regret not just spending double to get the q1 max. But then again, the q1 max only has one dongle (usba, the v series has usbc and a), worse battery life (I imagine due to the metal case and need for extended antenna or something? because they are the same otherwise pcb etc wise) and better sound stock (not a bit fan of the spacebar sound it's too muted but overall it sounds better)

How many keys can you hold down at a time with this board? My old keyboard can only hold 2 down at once, any more than that and it doesn’t register the other keys they are being held down
